I joined my daughters' graduation trip as a chaperone and had some alone time. The master was kind and friendly, and the regular customers were also nice, making the conversation lively. It was a fun time. To everyone visiting America-mura and Dotonbori, please come to "SHAMROCK"!

In September 2018, I had lunch and a little drink with my friend at Minami. We first had lunch at the Italian Bar Spello in Sennichimae, then decided to look for a bar that was open in the afternoon. We found a few Irish pubs in America-mura that opened at 3 pm, so we decided to check them out. The first place we visited was still closed, but the Irish pub Shamrock 'N' Roll Star was open, so we went in and got a table in the back. We ordered two glasses of whiskey on the rocks from the distilleries we visited in Ireland and Northern Ireland last year, as well as some mixed nuts. We had a great time chatting with the friendly staff and customers, just like we did in Dublin. They taught us how to enjoy whiskey, so even though I used to not like it, I can appreciate it now. I still don't like beer, so I didn't have any Guinness this time. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm sure the atmosphere would be different if we went at night.

After enjoying a delicious Italian meal with Mairevi, we walked around Namba playing Pokémon Go. Dotonbori was crowded with foreign tourists, making it difficult to walk, so we looked for a place to sit down and trade Pokémon. Mairevi often travels abroad and has many Pokémon that are only found overseas, so we decided to trade. We found an Irish pub in Amerikamura that was open in the afternoon and took a break there. The atmosphere was like a sports bar, and all the customers were foreign tourists. Since I wanted alcohol, Mairevi kindly went to buy drinks for us. We had a draft beer and then Guinness beer, both of which were delicious. It was a happy experience to drink Guinness beer in the afternoon. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

In Amerikamura, there are popular pancake shops like Eggs 'n Things, ELK, and recently, Happy Pancake. There are also many popular burger shops like Critters Burger, Rich Garden, and Westwood Bakers in Horie. New burger shops keep opening one after another! Additionally, there are American-style pizza stands, pancake skewers like Panbo, and colorful cotton candy at Totti Candy Factory, which you won't find in other areas. In this popular area where all these trendy shops gather, there is an Irish pub called "Shamrock 'N' Roll Star." While there are many popular pubs like HUB, Dublinbay, and recently Switch Bar, the owner of this pub has a different kind of dedication. He personally visited authentic Irish pubs and gathered the best elements to create this pub. The beer served by this owner always tastes better than usual, or is it just me? No, I don't think so! But seeing is believing! If you love Irish pubs, be sure to visit this one. It's a stylish pub that can be used for drinking parties, after-parties, company gatherings, girls' nights out, and dates!
