"I bought the Fig and Walnut bread. It looks well baked, soft to touch on the day of purchase, chewy and delicious when eaten. The next day, it became slightly harder but still moist inside, so I enjoyed it as it is without toasting. The taste is more sour from the raisins than the figs. It costs 600 yen per loaf. The rumors are true, it's a bread with a delightful texture. I will definitely buy it again!"

I heard that the wheat-flavored, chewy texture bread at the popular bakery, Pan to Bakudo, is delicious, so I went there. They use domestically sourced wheat and other high-quality ingredients to make bread with a long fermentation and aging process. The bakery is located a few minutes south of Nishi-Nagahori Station. Behind the nearby Kansai Supermarket, you can find the stylish bakery, Bakery Labo Quadrophenia. The exterior has a Japanese-style look with a warm wooden door and a cozy interior. The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining the different bread options. I tried several items and found them all delicious. The Wiener bread was particularly tasty with its chewy Campanile dough, juicy sausage, and mustard. The Pistachio cream bread had a unique Japanese twist with a creamy filling and nutty flavor. The Bread Gratin was packed with vegetables and a rich white sauce. The Tuna Avocado bread was a perfect combination of creamy avocado, tuna, and cheddar cheese. The Setouchi Lemon and Cranberry Cream Cheese bread had a refreshing lemon flavor. The Olive and Cheese Focaccia had a soft and chewy texture with a savory topping. Overall, the breads were all delicious and unique in flavor.

I was looking for some bread and found a bakery that was open on Sunday evening. I found "Panya Mugimichi" at 4:30 pm, and they only had their signature "Mochimochi Yudane Shokupan" (5 slices) left, which was lucky for me. It cost 300 yen. They were almost closing, so I made a last-minute purchase. Thank you very much!

Hazelnut and walnut bread. There is nut cream inside, and the bread is chewy and delicious. However, I dislike beans, so it was tough for me because there were whole beans inside, not crushed, but whole. Those who like nuts will be happy with this! As for me, who dislikes nuts, it was tough. (Why did I choose it) I love nut cream. I don't like beans. I'm sorry.

On a regular day around 10:00, it was not crowded. There is a cute bakery near the park. The bread is displayed in a showcase, and the staff will pick the bread for you. The shokupan (Japanese milk bread) was soft and fluffy. The pain au chocolat was delicious. The pastry had a crispy texture, and the chocolate inside was soft. It was baked perfectly. I'm curious about the melon pan, so I would like to visit this bakery again when I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Hankyu Department Store's Pan World had a booth set up and I purchased a few items that turned out to be really delicious, so I decided to visit their actual store as well. Some of the items I bought were from Hankyu Department Store. "Hazelnut and Caramel" - not a bagel, but the dough was chewy and delicious. There were plenty of hazelnuts and caramel, and they went really well together. I couldn't stop eating it. The quality was top-notch! The dough was amazing! I will definitely buy this again! "Walnut Salt Bread" - you can't go wrong with walnuts in salt bread. The sugar on top added a sweet and salty taste. Again, the dough was my favorite. "The Pistachio" - the dough was a bit hard. The pistachio sauce on top was delicious, and there were plenty of pistachios inside. Some pistachio breads have only a few pieces, but this one had a lot and it was really tasty. "Earl Grey and White Chocolate" - a favorite combination of mine, and it was delicious as expected. Consistently delicious. "Edamame and Cheese" - the dough was soft and fluffy. Delicious. The black pepper added a nice touch of spiciness. "Cashew and Walnut" - I really liked this one too! Plenty of cashews and walnuts, just as advertised. There was a hint of honey maybe? I thought it would be hard, but it was easy to eat. I definitely want to buy this again. All of them were really delicious, so I have high hopes for their other breads as well. I look forward to trying more of their offerings.

The restaurants recognized on Tabelog are certainly delicious, but as you continue to explore different places, you start to discover hidden gem restaurants that you feel are underrated. Bakudou is one of those extremely personal favorite restaurants. One of the most notable items is the bread with cheese and edamame (I don't remember the official name). This bread is designed based on the final image of combining cheese, edamame, and chewy dough with a hint of pepper. It's a bread that can be enjoyed with wine or beer, with a clear image in mind. Another example is the red bean paste and black bean fusion bread, which has a perfect balance of sweetness that allows you to appreciate the flavors of each bean. To create these product images, a solid base (foundation) is necessary, which in this case is the bread dough. They likely pay extreme attention to the amount of water in the dough, resulting in a soft, chewy texture and a beautifully cut surface. My throat and jaw are constantly busy and happy. If you love country bread, you must buy this. The cuts are incredibly beautiful. It can be frozen wrapped in aluminum foil for a longer shelf life. When you want to eat it, just bake it in a toaster oven with the aluminum foil. I truly wish to be able to make bread like this. Bakudou is a place that impresses enthusiasts and keeps amateurs at bay with its exceptional skills.

In a quiet residential area of Minami Horie, stands the modest bakery "Panya Makimichi" with its white curtain as a sign. This shop is dedicated to using domestically produced wheat and focusing on long fermentation. The shop offers face-to-face sales, and despite using domestic wheat, most of their bread is priced in the 100 yen range, making it a bakery for the common people. As it was my first visit, I carefully selected only four types of bread. Mentaiko Bread - 167 yen The bread has a crispy texture typical of baguettes, allowing you to enjoy the natural flavor of wheat as you chew. The mentaiko filling, soaked in mentaiko butter and mayonnaise, is moist and chewy. The secret touch of ichimi pepper adds an extra kick! There is no miso in it, but it's still delicious. Danba Black Bean and Adzuki Bean Bread - 167 yen The bread has a fluffy and chewy texture due to the use of Yudane method. Inside the bread, sweetened black beans and adzuki beans are mixed in, with sesame seeds providing a nice crunchy accent. The taste has a hint of Japanese cuisine, making you crave a bitter tea. Maple Melon Pan - 200 yen A melon pan loved by people of all ages. The distinct lattice pattern is a feature of melon pan. The cookie dough is mixed with maple syrup, spreading the gentle sweetness and aroma of maple throughout your mouth. Petit Maru - 64 yen each A bread made by rolling up the Yudane-prepared bread dough into a small ball. The bread has no filling, allowing the flavor of wheat to shine through with a simple taste. The chewy texture is delicious. It can be enjoyed in various ways, such as sandwiching with whipped cream for a Maritozzo-style treat, or with salad, sliced cheese, or even a hamburger patty for a hamburger. If I have the chance to be nearby again, I would like to stop by this bakery.

The bakery has a simple and cozy atmosphere, but the bread displayed is all amazing and delicious. The bread is incredibly chewy and moist, even though the hydration level is high. I especially love their country bread and milk bread. The texture of the dough is just irresistible. They don't have a wide variety, but I love their bread more than any other bakery. Personally, I recommend their country bread, milk bread, chocolate bread (the round bread dough is delicious), and croissants. The texture of the dough is the best part! Also, it's convenient because it's close to home. However, there are often holes in the country bread and the slicing of the bread can be a bit rough, so I hope they can improve on that!

Visit time: 12:23 on a weekday Waiting time: None Impression: I visited this restaurant for the first time, which I had been curious about for a while. - Curry Bread: It is a spicy curry with minced meat, and the combination with the bread is excellent. It's now one of my favorites. - Tuna Avocado - Wiener Bread: The bread was made of Kamut flour, which I wasn't familiar with, but it had a good texture and paired well with the wiener. Thank you for the meal.

A bakery located about a 7-minute walk from Nishi-Nagahori Station on the Osaka Metro Sennichimae Line and Nagahori Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Line. They are particular about using domestic wheat and long fermentation for their bread. Instead of serving yourself, you choose the bread from a glass showcase and have it served to you, which feels safer and more reassuring especially during the current pandemic. I selected the following items: - Mentaiko French Bread (180 yen): A good balance of mentaiko, butter, and mayonnaise soaked into the baguette, providing a rich flavor with a nice touch of spiciness. - Cinnamon Roll (220 yen): A soft and fluffy bread with cinnamon sugar rolled in, topped with sliced almonds for a fragrant and satisfying crunch. - Walnut Salt Bread (180 yen): A soft bread with plenty of walnuts mixed in, topped with salt for a gentle flavor. - Maple Melon Pan (200 yen): A fluffy bread with a thick biscuit topping, offering a delightful contrast in textures between crispy and fluffy, with a subtle maple flavor. - Hazelnut Caramel Bread (200 yen): The only hard-textured bread I bought this time, with a chewy dough mixed with caramel and topped with hazelnuts. All the bread had a moderate level of sweetness and were consistently delicious.

The mentaiko French bread was so good that it might be the best I've ever had. The texture of the French bread and the flavor of the mentaiko soaked into the bread was great! They had a variety of other sandwiches too, so I'll definitely go back to try more.

The bakery specializes in bread with various types of dough, such as Campagne and chewy dough. The Campagne sausage bread made with Okinawan pork is crispy and juicy, with a unique rye flavor in the dough. The texture is chewy with a good bite, and the mustard on top is not too spicy. The cheese topping adds a nice crunch. The Bean Bread contains black beans and red beans, both generously mixed in. It's sweet, soft, and not at all gritty like some bean breads. The surface is slightly crispy while the inside is even chewier than Campagne. Both the texture of the dough and the flavor of the beans are delicious. Overall, the breads were perfect in my opinion. The only minor downside was that the mustard tasted a bit different from what I'm used to. Although it's not easy for me to visit this place often, I would love to have this bread again.

The first time at the bakery, I felt excited and nervous as I approached the shop. Upon entering, I saw a display case filled with various types of bread. The staff served customers face-to-face, and since there were no other customers, I was able to take my time choosing. I picked the Campanule Fruits, which had just been freshly baked. It was dense and heavy, filled with cranberries, raisins, and walnuts. The Anpan had a soft and chewy texture, with a slightly sweet red bean paste and a whole walnut inside. The Salt Bread was topped generously with walnuts, with a whole wheat dough that was fluffy and soaked with butter. The Bacon Epi was flavorful with bacon and a hint of black pepper. The Mentaiko French Baguette had a rich mentaiko cream spread on top, which was spicy and perfect for adults. The Croissant was made with whole wheat flour, giving it a crispy and buttery taste. The Honey and Three Nuts bread had walnuts, cashews, and almonds, although the honey flavor was not very pronounced. The bakery also offered a variety of other bread such as Baguettes, Cream Puffs, Curry Bread, Danish Pastries, and more. The selection was so tempting that I wanted to try everything. I'll save the rest for next time!

A little while ago, a reader told me about a bakery that sells delicious melon bread, so I went to check it out. "Panya Makido" is located just a 3-minute walk from Nishi-Nagahori Station on the Osaka Metro. Despite the rainy weather on the day I visited, there was a constant stream of customers, probably due to it being lunchtime. The bakery has a unique face-to-face style, which is quite hygienic in the current situation. When you tell the staff what bread you want, they pack it in a bag for you. They have a variety of bread such as strawberry melon bread, chocolate bread, cream bread, red bean bread, pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls, brioche nanterre, bean bread, wiener bread, teriyaki chicken tartine, baked curry bread, and more. I first purchased the melon bread, which is a seasonal item. They also had strawberry melon bread, but I decided to go for the classic version first. I also bought some sandwich bread and a half-size of the recommended fruit campagne. The bakery had a sign explaining the shelf life and the difficulty of slicing the bread due to its high moisture content. They described the bread as having a very soft texture due to the high water content. Now, onto the melon bread! The intricate pattern on the surface is quite beautiful, and the cookie dough-like exterior is delightfully crispy. This is the type of melon bread I love, with a slightly thick and crunchy crust. Next, I tried the sandwich bread and fruit campagne. The sandwich bread had a chewy texture and a subtle sweetness, perfect for everyday consumption. As for the fruit campagne, I love bread with lots of fruit in it, and this one did not disappoint. The bakery had a sign with "Panya" written on it. It was a delicious experience, and I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Fierce competition area... surrounded by numerous top restaurants in Horie, strong contender P&B, German bread Kirschbrüte... quietly, a natural bread shop "Pan-ya Bakudo" stands out. The staff's Instagram is interesting... @bakudo_staff. The shop is @bakudou. Differentiating itself from high-end bread using butter, cream, and milk, it focuses on "natural, or rather, common bread" with a base of domestically grown wheat, unique Japanese chewiness, and wheat flavor. The baguette has a crispy crust and rich wheat aroma. It's delicious when toasted, but also great when torn and eaten. The sandwich bread is soft, not too sweet, with a soft crust and excellent elasticity. It's chewy and has a prominent wheat aroma. I also bought croissants and other items, but as a light eater, I couldn't finish them all... looking forward to the next visit. It's a small bread shop, but it might be close to being one of the top 100 shops. It was delicious, thank you.

On Sundays, there are few bakeries in the Horie area, but I wanted to try some bread, so I searched and found this bakery. It's about a 7-minute walk from Nishinagahori Station, with a Seven Eleven as a landmark nearby. The shop has a counter where you can place your order. The staff were friendly and I had a pleasant shopping experience. Fig and cream cheese bread ★3.5: It's filled with figs and cream cheese, very authentic and delicious. Olive bread ★3.5: It's moist with olive oil, and you can really taste the olives. As an olive lover, I was satisfied. Chocolate bread ★3.3: The bread is chewy and not too sweet, suitable for adults. Personally, I would have liked some crunchy texture like nuts included. Overall, it was delicious and they also have a good selection of savory bread, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I purchased a bacon epi, cheese bread, and cream bread. The cream bread was really delicious! There were a variety of options which made it fun to choose. Since the bread is served by the staff, I felt rushed when the next customer arrived and couldn't take my time to select.

The sweet temptation of honey butter... was it? It cost around 340 yen. The product description was something like, "Honey-infused dough with chunks of walnuts and almonds, wrapped in butter." The bottom of the bread is sticky with butter grease (laughs). Despite being called honey, it's not overly sweet, and the combination of nutty chunks, buttery flavor, and the deliciousness of the hard dough are a perfect match. I was surprised by the mention of butter wrapping, but the butter inside is mostly melted, not in a big lump, so it's not too heavy to eat. The almonds are chunky, but the walnuts may not stand out as much. The sinful yet delicious combination of buttery juiciness and nutty flavor is a delight.
