- Thick-cut Toro Tongue (1,580 yen x 2)
- Harami (880 yen)
- Wagyu 5-second Roast (1,400 yen)
- Salted Hormone (600 yen)
- Premium Liver (800 yen)
- Seared Yukke (1,000 yen)
- Tsurami (600 yen)
- Hormone Assortment (White) (700 yen)
- Tongue 4-type Assortment (1,600 yen)
- Bicho (with alcohol) (650 yen) / (without alcohol) (500 yen)
Highlights:
- Thick-cut Toro Tongue: A must-try dish, best enjoyed well-done for a crispy texture.
- Harami: Very tender and delicious, highly recommended along with the thick-cut tongue and salted hormone.
- Tongue 4-type Assortment: A great option for those who want to try various types of tongue.
- Premium Liver: A unique dish that retains the flavor of raw liver even when cooked.
- Bicho: A new drink that changes color from blue to pink when mixed, a fun and interesting experience.
Overall, all the meat dishes were delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is also popular for its lunch menu, particularly the meat and rice bowl, which tends to have long lines during lunchtime. Be sure to check it out!

2023 Meaty 30 Match Part 1: Hamburger Topic
2023 Meaty 30 Match Part 4
2023 New Restaurant Exploration Diary Part 196: "Oni ni Kanabou Chayamachi Store" (Osaka, Umeda) - a store from the Ichimasa Group. I ordered the newly introduced lunch menu starting from September 4th, the Oni Kana Black Wagyu Hamburger for 1800 yen. This type of hamburger, which does not use fillers, tends to fall apart easily, making it feel less like eating a hamburger. I personally prefer well-done hamburgers over rare ones, like the ones from "New Bungo Fukushima Main Store" (Osaka, Fukushima) and "Yakiniku Kojima Hanare" (Osaka, Matsubara City Kawachi Tenmi).

I enjoyed a luxurious lunch at a yakiniku restaurant in the Chayamachi area of Umeda where there is always a long line during lunchtime. I had the Special Selected Domestic Wagyu Beef Toro Momo Nikumabushi for 1,680 yen. The main dish comes in a tiered box with condiments, salad, and a teapot of broth. When you open the box, you'll see the meat spread out with a vibrant egg yolk in the center. I started by mixing the egg yolk with the meat, and the flavor of the wagyu beef and egg yolk spread throughout my mouth. After eating about a third of it, I transitioned to ochazuke. Adding condiments to the elegant broth made the rice go down smoothly. It's gentle on the stomach, perfect for those tired from the summer heat. It was so delicious that I ended up getting a refill of the broth. This is perfect for treating yourself on days when you want to reward yourself. Thank you for the meal!

I used to go for lunch before, and this time I used it for dinner. I had about 2 drinks each, ate white rice and meat, and it was around 5,000 yen per person. It's not too expensive or too cheap, so it seems just right for those looking for a moderately priced restaurant. The wakame soup that the person next to me was eating looked delicious.

The popular buzzworthy yakiniku lunch spot in Umeda is Oni no Kanabou Chayamachi! Even on weekdays during lunchtime, there is still a line in front of the restaurant despite the hot weather!! But once you go there, you'll understand! Once you taste the food, you'll understand! The reason why people line up even in the heat is because of the delicious lunch menu. I tried the popular lunch menu item, "Special selection of domestic wagyu beef tongue steak (¥1640)" and it was amazing. The meat was tender and juicy, the egg topping was delicious, and it was incredibly tasty whether eaten on its own, with condiments, or with broth poured over it. It's so delicious that you won't get tired of eating it no matter how many times you have it.

Umeda Chayamachi's popular yakiniku restaurant! I went around 6 pm on a weekday and it was crowded! It's better to make a reservation to be safe. The large-sized loin is impressive. Highly recommended items include seared yukhoe with Korean seaweed for 1,320 yen, and the 5-second loin for 1,540 yen. The thickly sliced tongue for 1,738 yen is juicy and delicious. The salted hormone for 660 yen is a must-try for hormone lovers, with chewy intestines. Other menu items like premium liver for 880 yen and white senmai for 770 yen also caught my eye. There are many more menu options to explore, so be sure to check it out! Follow me on Instagram for more foodie information: @misa_stagram_osaka.

The taste and the staff's service were both amazing. I visited for lunch and had a bento box with premium Japanese beef. I could enjoy various flavors by eating it as it is or making it into a soup with tea. The meat was really delicious and exquisite. I will definitely come back again.

I wanted to eat meat mabushi and found this restaurant by chance while searching for it. It seems to have opened quite recently, but it's already very popular. I heard that there are long lines, so I made a reservation. The long-awaited meat mabushi was very delicious, but unfortunately, there were a few things that bothered me. Firstly, the restaurant was crowded during lunchtime, which may have contributed to the slow service, making me anxious about whether my order was being taken. When I placed my order, I was asked about the closing time, and I was told that the food would be ready in a short time. I thought, "Can I finish eating in such a short time?" In the end, I finished eating before closing time, but I felt a bit uneasy. Also, they did not provide water. It seemed that ordering a drink was mandatory. I chose a soft drink, but I was disappointed by the limited options. I think that they would bring water if asked, but after waiting in line, it would be better to have it quickly. I wanted to drink water. There were a lot of things that I felt, but as I mentioned above, the meat mabushi was delicious. I would like to give it a rating of 4 to 4.5, but there were too many things that bothered me, so I may not visit again. I'm not sure. I'm curious about the yakiniku too. Hmm. It's a shame because it was delicious.

I went to have lunch at Oni no Kanabou. The restaurant is located about a 2-minute walk from Hankyu Umeda Station in Chayamachi. I tried their popular Oni no Kanabou lunch menu, which features a special selection of domestic wagyu beef. The tender beef was so delicious! It was topped with various condiments like green onions, wasabi, garlic, yuzu peel, and seaweed, allowing you to enjoy different flavors without getting bored. And at the end, they provide dashi so you can make ochazuke. It was such a luxurious experience! The ochazuke was also amazing.

I heard rumors about their amazing lunch menu item called Wagyu beef meat mabushi, so I decided to drop everything and head there to try it out! There's a popular yakiniku restaurant in Umeda called "Oni ni Kanabou Chayamachi Branch" where you can enjoy various ways of eating. You can put the 5-second roast beef on rice or load it up with green onions. You can finish your meal with cold noodles or even ice cream, however you like. This trendy yakiniku spot offers dishes like seared yukhoe, thick-cut tongue, harami, wagyu 5-second roast, salted hormone, tongue assortment, and ice cream. I tried the tongue assortment this time and it was amazing! I grilled the thick-cut tongue and salted tongue, and stir-fried the sinewy tongue with garlic and agodashi slices. Then I topped it with a mountain of green onions and poured ponzu sauce over it. The visual was divine! It's fun to try different ways of enjoying your meal like this, don't you think? The teppanyaki style cooking allows for such creativity. Can't wait to go back!

Around 2000 yen per person, this restaurant offers a special selection of domestic wagyu beef, particularly the juicy thigh meat. Located on the north side of Chaya-machi, the eye-catching sign is a landmark for this restaurant. With tables, a counter, and semi-private rooms, the spacious interior of the restaurant opened in February is always full! I went to try the rumored lunch limited menu. When you open the bento box lid, there is an abundance of meat! The thigh meat, cooked at low temperature, is served on top of chicken soboro rice, creating a rich and flavorful dish that is outstanding! It tastes even better when mixed with egg yolk, and you can enjoy it in various ways by adding your favorite condiments. I recommend trying it with yuzu peel! Lastly, adding wasabi and seaweed, pouring in the broth, and savoring it will leave a lasting impression. It's best to try it at least once because it sells out quickly, so I recommend going early! I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I recently tried the evening menu at "Oni ni Kanabou Chomachi" in Umeda, Chayamachi, and it was so appealing.
- Domestic Wagyu Large 5-Second Roast: 1540 yen
I was surprised by the large size of the roast. The staff quickly cooked it for me and it was amazing when I ate it with the egg. This is a must-have with rice.
- Thick Toro Tongue: 1738 yen
It is recommended to cook it rare. It was incredibly thick and had a great texture.
They also have delicious Yukke and Harami. I was very satisfied with everything. Since it's a popular restaurant, I recommend making a reservation before going.

I became interested in the lunch limited menu. Special selected domestic Wagyu beef "Niku Mabushi" for 1800 yen. When I opened the lid, I was excited to see the meat spread out all over. Under the meat, there was also chicken soboro. The low-temperature cooked thigh meat was tender and delicious. First, I tried it with just the egg yolk. It was amazing when eaten with the sweetened soboro. Next, I added my favorite condiments. The condiments available are green onions, wasabi, garlic chips, seaweed, and yuzu peel. The combination of garlic chips and green onions was the most delicious. Finally, I poured the broth over it. With wasabi and seaweed added, I was able to finish it off easily. It's also nice that you can choose from small, medium, or large rice sizes.

I heard there is a delicious lunch-only meat mabushi at the restaurant located in Chayamachi, Osaka. It's just a 3-minute walk from Osaka Umeda Station on the Hankyu Railway. The domestic wagyu meat mabushi costs 1800 yen including tax. The moist and tender thigh meat is amazing whether eaten on its own or with rice. The closing ochazuke with a gentle dashi broth is also wonderful. At night, you can enjoy cost-effective yakiniku, with the thick-cut tongue and salted tongue being recommended. The thick-cut tongue on rice also makes for a fantastic bowl, so be sure to try it! The dessert ice cream is also incredibly delicious, so much so that it feels like they opened a shop in Tenma just for it! So, if you go, be sure to order the ice cream for dessert! Thank you for the meal!
