Today, after dropping off my 4-year-old son Kotaro at daycare, I went to a hair salon. Well, it's more like... well, how do I put this... it's kind of presumptuous to call it a hair salon... it's more like a beauty salon, I guess. Oh, but, well, it's like, it's a really, I mean, it's a small beauty salon run by an old lady, not stylish at all, like a candy store, the prices are really cheap, it's just, well, it's just that kind of place! Oh, it's like, it's a beauty salon run by an old lady who sells candy, and I came here based on her recommendation. First, um, sorry, let me do this in bullet points again. I'm not good at writing paragraphs, sorry m(__)m About the location Asked about the location first, thought, "Is it really next to West?" as the old lady at the beauty salon candy store said... but when I went there, it was there. It's in a somewhat hidden location. About the parking lot There were a lot of cars parked, so I hesitated to enter, but I gathered my courage and went in, and the inside of the store was surprisingly spacious. About the seating Since there are many tables for two people, it's safe to go alone. Complaints Something feels off about the sofa and table height... which one is the problem? Is the table too low? About the meal I ordered the daily lunch special, which was teriyaki chicken and fish fry with tartar sauce. It was 1080 yen. It was delicious! Oh, it was delicious. The meat was tender, and the salad was tasty too. I want to try a different menu next time. I don't know why, but the rice was also delicious. About the service There's no bell or anything, but there's something thoughtful about it. Not staring at you, but, how should I put it, a subtle kindness? About the coffee after the meal Since it's a cafe, you have to drink coffee... or rather, it comes with the daily lunch special. First, I tried black coffee, um... it's strong (old-fashioned)... no, sorry. I don't know. I think it's delicious, but I can't tell the difference because I usually drink coffee milk from Snow Brand. I added milk, stirred it, da-da-da-da-da♪ um, I don't really get it. [A man who can't tell the difference] That's me, but is there a problem? I tried adding sugar. Yeah! That's good, haha. Conclusion It was good. It was delicious, relaxing, and easy for a solo diner. I would like to visit again. Thank you, old lady at the beauty salon candy store.
