I felt like eating Korean food, so I decided to go to a place I had saved on my Eat Log app. It was located near Namba Station, just up the stairs from exit 14 of the Midosuji subway line. When I arrived, the shutter was still closed because it was 15 minutes before opening time, so I recommend arriving right when they open. The staff were very kind and directed me to a warm spot to sit. I ordered the Asari Kalguksu, while my friend ordered the Sundubu Jjigae set meal. Initially, my friend ordered something else, but they were told it wasn't available that day, so they changed their order. The Sundubu Jjigae was served first and it was piping hot, perfect for a cold winter day. When my dish was being prepared, the staff kindly informed me that it would be ready soon. I looked up what Kalguksu was and found out it's like Korean-style udon noodles, and indeed it came with noodles and 10 clams. It had a slightly salty taste but was delicious. It's a good option for those who want to try Korean food but don't like spicy dishes. After finishing our meal, we chatted at our table for a bit, and even though the staff had been smiling before, they quickly came to clear our plates and even took away the tea that had been left on the table. Maybe they prefer customers to leave soon after eating. Despite the staff's varying moods, the food was tasty.

Korean cuisine is perfect for warming you up during the cold winter. In particular, samgyetang is made with Korean ginseng, garlic, ginger, and other healthy ingredients. "Kei Story Namba" - I finally visited a Korean restaurant that I had been curious about. I was the only customer. Tofu Kimchi for 980 yen and a bottle of raw Makgeolli for 1500 yen. The raw Makgeolli was delicious, but the tofu kimchi didn't suit my taste. Also, 980 yen for that dish is too expensive. I think this place would be better for lunch.

I went to a authentic Korean restaurant run by Koreans and made a reservation. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant was not fully booked so you might be able to walk in without a reservation! When I called to make a reservation, the staff was friendly like a friend. I ordered a Ginger Highball, but they brought me a Ginger Ale, which made me feel like I was really here for Korean food!! The appetizer was a cucumber dish that tasted spicy and was constantly refilled, not sure about the price. When I asked if it was all-you-can-eat, they said it wasn't haha. Ordered Seafood Pancake for 800 yen, Chicken Karaage for 980 yen, Budae Jjigae for 1280 yen per serving (minimum order of 2 servings). Not sure about the price of the Ramen. Also had Cheese Tteokbokki for 800 yen. For drinks, had Highball for 450 yen, Lemon Sour for 380 yen, and draft beer for 430 yen. Had about 3-4 drinks per person, totaling around 3500 yen per person. Korean food is really good! The restaurant is conveniently located in Namba, so I would like to go again. I visited K-story based on a friend's recommendation. The staff were also Korean, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic. It truly felt like being in Korea. The menu I ordered today included beef bulgogi hot pot, bossam kimchi, seafood pancake, stir-fried octopus, Korean-style omelette, japchae rolls, boiled dumplings, seafood sundubu, and clam hot pot. There was a wide variety of dishes, and the kimchi was especially delicious! I tried clam hot pot for the first time, and it had a strong salty flavor with added green chili peppers, making it spicy and very tasty! I was expecting a regular bulgogi for the bulgogi hot pot, but it had plenty of broth and I enjoyed finishing it off with dry noodles! Every dish was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I happened to come across "K-Story Namba Store" which I had been eyeing for a while. Due to the impact of the pandemic, I hadn't had the chance to visit this Korean restaurant until now. I decided to try the Yukgaejang set meal, priced at 950 yen. The lunch menu had many options, but I went with my favorite. It came with three side dishes and was served in a Korean stone pot, bubbling hot. The presence of crunchy bracken was delightful. The red soup was so delicious that I felt the urge to keep refilling it. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. The restaurant had a traditional Korean atmosphere with round tables and drum-shaped chairs. It was a great experience, and I left without any regrets.

It's blissful to be able to drink from lunchtime. You can order from the dinner menu regardless of lunchtime. I had Budae Jjigae, Gyoza, Kalbi Chim, and Japchae along with some beer and Chu-hai. The yakitori gyoza I ordered for the first time was huge and delicious. The Budae Jjigae was surprisingly light, I wish it had more depth or richness. I also wished it was spicier! The ramen at the end was delicious. When eating hotpot, it gets hot and you start sweating. I prefer the staff at this location, they are so friendly. I will definitely come back again!

I went for a casual lunch drink two days in a row and had Sundubu brunch at different places each time, so today I decided to go for something different because it's hot. I settled for cold noodles and beer. I shared the Bibim noodles and Galchi muchim with my friend. The Bibim noodles were delicious! The noodles were just the way I like them, and the sourness was perfect, although I wish it had been spicier. I also visited the sister store near OCAT, which was spacious, bright, and clean. I really liked this store! The staff were friendly. I wonder if you can get refills for the side dishes? I also had a highball and left with a full stomach! It was delicious. I will definitely come back to this place soon.

Visited a Korean restaurant in Namba. Had been to the JR Namba branch once before, probably a sister store. They have a wide variety of lunch menu options. I was torn between choices but ended up ordering the oxtail soup set for 950 yen. It's a non-smoking establishment. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. They mentioned that you can get refills for the side dishes and rice. The piping hot stone pot was brought out. I waited for it to cool down a bit. The pork bone soup was delicious. I ended up getting refills for the rice and bean sprout kimchi. It was really tasty, thank you for the meal.

The inside had a Korean street food vibe, according to my friend who loves Korea, and seemed to be a gathering place for Koreans living in Japan. The menu was extensive, offering a variety of Korean dishes. I ordered Samgyupsal as my main dish, along with Tteokbokki, seafood pancake, Makgeolli, and Muscat Chumisul for drinks. I initially thought the service might be slow due to the lack of staff, but the food was served surprisingly quickly! The staff were friendly and attentive, checking on the grilling of the Samgyupsal and recommending drinks. The conversation was enjoyable too! The location is behind HIPS in Minami, so once you remember it, it's a convenient location. There are many lunch options, and you can have unlimited rice and side dishes. I had the Seafood Sundubu Jjigae set meal for 950 yen. It was served in a sizzling stone pot! It was spicy and delicious! The soft and creamy tofu was plentiful, which was nice. The side dishes were cucumber pickles, sweet and spicy fish cakes, and kimchi. I had lunch before going to the gym! I remembered having hot pot with my gym buddies at night before, and even though it was a bit pricey, it was incredibly delicious. I knew they served lunch, so I decided to try it this time. You can choose from daily specials or regular menu items for lunch, and it comes with three side dishes like kimchi and pickled cabbage, and you can have unlimited rice refills, which is great! The lunch chige hot pot is delicious. The interior of the restaurant is like a fast food restaurant, but the food is authentic Korean. Also, the seafood jeon is crispy and delicious!
