I'm happy because there aren't many retro cafes around here. The omelette rice has a very gentle taste. The coffee is on the acidic side. The dressing on the salad is delicious. I wanted to have the pudding, but it was sold out, probably because it's popular. The female staff is very friendly, while the male staff is stylish and gives off a slightly intimidating vibe. But that adds to the charm. Next time, I'll definitely try the pudding...

The restaurant opened at 11:30, so I arrived around 11:20 and there were already 2 groups waiting in line. The line kept growing from there! It was my first time visiting, so I had the omurice lunch. The chicken and vegetables were plentiful, and the classic ketchup omurice was delicious! The salad dressing was also tasty. For dessert, the pudding was perfect in terms of firmness, sweetness, and the slight bitterness of the caramel. My friend was happily sipping on a melon cream soda. Thank you for the delicious meal! Best to line up early in the morning!

Although it is an old café, the stylish café omelette rice that the staff ate was very delicious. The portion was so large that it felt like my stomach was going to burst, so even men can eat heartily without a doubt. I also ordered pudding, which was also really huge. The dressing for the salad is surprisingly delicious.

When I searched on Gurunavi, the atmosphere seemed nice so I decided to visit. I couldn't help but laugh at the excessive orders of omurice. [Ordered menu] - Chicken Nanban Omurice was the only choice, refreshing eye sauce is good, easy to eat even in summer, and the cabbage on the side is crispy and good. - Pudding was big, made with a lot of eggs, and delicious with a firm texture, suitable for adults. - Melon soda, I always order it for some reason. [Impressions] It's like a mischievous set I drew when I was a child. It was great to enjoy chicken nanban while drinking melon soda. I will visit again. [Usage scenario] Lunch at Takasago Shirogane for a short break. [Location, Access] Somewhere in Shirogane's alley.

The atmosphere of a coffee shop is nice, isn't it? That's why I was curious about "Kissa Kotii" and decided to visit. I went during lunchtime on a holiday and it was so popular that it was full and there were even waiting customers. I chose the Melon Cream Soda and Pudding. I usually don't drink it, but when I come to a place like this, I feel like having a Melon Cream Soda. The pudding was bigger and firmer than I imagined. It might be good to share it with someone. The Chicken Nanban set, Miyazaki style, was also on the menu. The most popular item seemed to be the Omu-rice, as many customers were eating it. I was able to use PayPay. Thank you for the meal!

On June 19, 2023, in Fukuoka's Takasago area, there is a coffee shop that has been loved for over 40 years since its opening in 1977. When I visited last Sunday, there were about 10 couples and groups of women waiting in line to visit this place. Today, when I visited at a slightly different time for lunch, I was able to get a seat without waiting. The shop, with 7 tables and 16 seats, as well as a counter with 8 seats, was bustling with female customers from the nearby area. It is not a trendy cafe, but rather an old-fashioned coffee shop nestled in a residential area, similar to the nationwide chain "Komeda Coffee," where you can relax without any pretense. The most popular item at this shop is the "Omelette Rice." The omelette, which is placed on top of the chicken rice, does not open dramatically when you cut it like an omelette you might find in a hotel restaurant. However, it is wrapped in a beautiful silky egg with a rich buttery aroma, and the smooth texture of the rare egg is delicious. The chicken rice wrapped in the omelette is also well-prepared, with diced chicken pieces cooked to perfection and a hint of sweetness from the ketchup. The second owner who took over the shop in 1986 is now elderly and was considering closing the shop. However, the regular customers intervened and helped facilitate the transition to the current third owner. In this day and age, many successful businesses close due to lack of successors, so it's heartwarming to see this kind of connection that allows the shop to be passed down through generations.

I went to the restaurant shortly after it opened. It quickly became crowded inside, and by the time the food arrived and I started eating, there were many people waiting outside. I ordered the omurice, salad, and soup set. The omurice had well-cooked eggs and a beautifully presented surface. The salad dressing was delicious. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I went to Cafe Coty in Fukuoka City, Chuo-ku, Takasago on February 12, 2023 (Sunday). I found this place while walking near the Nakanokawa River, as I had seen it online before. It was a bit early, but I couldn't resist my hunger and decided to enter. Being the first customer feels good. I was worried about smoking since it's a cafe, but there were no ashtrays in the store and no smell of smoke, which was a relief. Now, what should I eat? They offer regular menu items and daily specials for lunch. I ordered the Pork Cutlet Set Meal. This is actually a dinner menu item. Here it is, the Pork Cutlet Set Meal priced at 880 yen (tax included). It's commonly known as the Tonkatsu Set Meal. The generous serving of vegetable salad is nice. The thickness of the cutlet is sufficient. The sauce is sweet, with a hint of miso maybe? The cutlet is crispy, tender, and delicious. It was a slightly stylish lunch to have at a cafe. Cafe Coty is located at 2-15-28 Takasago, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Closed on Wednesdays.

I had lunch at "Cotty". This time, they changed their opening time to 11:30 am, instead of 11 am like last time. I had the Neapolitan pasta (with soup and salad) for 850 yen. It was delicious to eat in the atmosphere of a classic cafe. The pasta came with powdered cheese on the side, so you could add as much as you like, which was nice. I also had a pudding for dessert (set + 400 yen). It was a rich and creamy pudding, very tasty. I also want to try their limited edition purple sweet potato dessert next time. They also have weekly specials like 7 pieces of shrimp fry and daily specials like chicken tempura, so I'll definitely be coming back to try more. The customers ranged from young to old, which was nice to see.

Cream soda ice cream doesn't have much flavor, with large pieces of ice, and melon soda syrup is made quite strong. The cheesecake is delicious, with a texture similar to cheesecake terrine. The coffee has a slightly strong acidity, but when milk is added, it has a refreshing aftertaste and tastes delicious. I felt that the amount of coffee was a bit less compared to the size of the cake. The interior of the store is pleasant, with natural light coming in from outside, making it a comfortable place to spend time. The clientele seems to be on the younger side for a cafe.

I visited at lunchtime. It seems that there are more deliveries and takeout orders like Uber Eats inside the store. I asked for the recommended daily lunch special, which was the ribeye steak with red wine sauce. After a short wait, it arrived. It was just average. Next time, I will try the omurice.

I was drawn to the keyword "limited time offer" and decided to have the fried chicken and nanban set with coffee for dessert. I went just before the lunch hours ended at 3 pm, and the staff were friendly. The food was delicious, but I couldn't help but think I should have ordered the omurice instead. The coffee was also really good!

In Chuo Ward, Takasago, there is a cafe called "Kissa Coty." I really wanted to eat omurice, so I went there to see why it's so popular. Despite it being a little past lunchtime, there were many customers and a bit of a wait. The cafe has counter seats and table seats, and it caters to families with children and solo diners.
- Omurice: 800 yen with salad and soup
- I indulged in adding two extra shrimp fries for 200 yen each.
The rice in the omurice had a nostalgic feel with the ketchup and egg being a bit firm, which I liked. I also saw other customers enjoying chicken nanban and karaage, which looked delicious too. It was really tasty! Thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant right after it opened on Sunday, and the seats quickly filled up, almost reaching full capacity. The interior of the restaurant had a retro feel, and the staff were friendly, making it a very cozy atmosphere. I ordered the omurice (800 yen) and added a dessert set (+400 yen). The omurice was delicious, but the pudding in the dessert set was especially good - it was firm and had a generous portion, very tasty. I shared the dessert with a friend, and the mille-feuille was on the smaller side, so it's recommended to enjoy it by yourself. The daily recommended set meal was displayed at the entrance of the restaurant.

Established in 1977, the popular cafe "Stereo" in Daimyo has become a sister shop, taking over the long-established coffee shop. While "Stereo" is relocating, you can still enjoy their famous Chicken Nanban here. I visited outside of lunch hours and ordered a hot coffee (440 yen) only. Served in a cute cup, the coffee had a mild taste with no acidity or bitterness, making it easy to drink. The interior of the shop has counter seats on the right side upon entering, and table seats by the window. The seats are spacious and the calm decor creates a relaxing atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of meal options, such as today's recommended set meal which could be steak or chirashi sushi, with different prices and genres. There is also an alcohol menu available, making it a welcoming place for solo diners. I recommend trying this place for lunch next time.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend. I think the daily special was this meat dish. The portion was generous and satisfying for 1200 yen. We wanted to catch up and chat, so we ordered pudding and coffee after our meal. The pudding was delicious - firm and creamy. We ended up chatting for so long that we ordered the Green Tea Float with Yame Matcha, which was also amazing. I originally came for the affordable lunch options under 1000 yen, but ended up spending over 2000 yen with all the extra orders. The menu at this charming cafe is so tempting! The retro interior was cozy and perfect for a leisurely chat with a friend. I want to come back next time to try the omurice!

I arrived a little after 11 o'clock and there was only one customer in the cafe. I was given the option to sit at either the counter or a table, so I chose a 2-seater table. The table had a sofa chair and the cafe had a stylish and clean atmosphere. I was interested in all the menu items, but I decided to order the omurice (with salad and soup) for 800 yen, and added a topping of shrimp fry for an additional 200 yen. The cafe was quiet and comfortable, making it a great place for solo diners. While waiting for my food, three more groups of customers arrived within 10 minutes. When my dish was served, I was impressed by the beautiful omurice. The fluffy texture of the egg, the ketchup, and the chicken rice were all delicious. The shrimp fry topping was crispy and delicious as well. It was easy to eat the whole shrimp without leaving any parts behind. This cafe has a classic and welcoming atmosphere that appeals to customers of all ages. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy your meal.

Today, Cotty is still maintaining the atmosphere of a retro Showa coffee shop. Originally an old shop, it is now run by the famous Stereo-san in Daimyo. The ambiance alone is enough to make you feel relaxed.
- Napolitan: ¥750
A special Napolitan sauce with a hint of sweetness. The fine noodles (1.6-1.7mm) are well coated and delicious. The uniformly sliced carrots, onions, and especially the crunchy green peppers are excellent.
- Omurice: ¥800 (includes salad and egg soup)
The eggs are gently seasoned and easy to eat. The egg soup is also mild and comforting.
- Blue Hawaii Cream Soda: ¥550 (limited to summer)
The lemon syrup does a great job here. It's refreshing.

I also saw this place in the media, and since they serve food after 2 pm, it's perfect for a late lunch. Originally run by an elderly couple, this longstanding cafe, which was supposed to close in March after 43 years in business, has been taken over by the third generation and reopened as a sister store to "STEREO" in Otemachi and "STEREOCOFFEE" on Watanabe Street. I arrived around 2:30 pm, and the interior had a nostalgic feel with a candy-colored theme and mostly counter seats. There were three groups of male customers, some having business lunches and others enjoying a cup of coffee alone, reminiscent of old times. I sat at a table and ordered the famous Showa-style omurice (750 yen) with pudding (set price 400 yen) and coffee (set price 200 yen). I considered adding shrimp fry to my order, but decided against it after thinking about my stomach. The omurice was topped with bright red ketchup, and the chicken rice inside had a gentle flavor, so I quickly finished it. The pudding was also reminiscent of the early Showa period, with a slightly sweet and firm texture. Traditional cafes like this one have a charm that modern cafes don't. I would love to try the custard pudding next time if I have the chance.

I recently visited a Western-style restaurant that seems to have just opened. I saw it in a book, so I decided to check it out. It seems to be popular on Instagram. The restaurant has a bit of a Showa era atmosphere. The menu includes set meals, curry, Neapolitan spaghetti, and omurice. I had the Neapolitan spaghetti, which had a mature flavor with just the right amount of ketchup. It was delicious. For dessert, I had a rich and voluminous pudding that was a must for Instagram. The background music was played from a record, which added to the trendy atmosphere. The staff were also stylish. What I liked the most was that there is a parking lot next to the restaurant, so you don't have to worry about finding parking. Additionally, the restaurant has its own parking lot with free parking for two cars. That was also great.
