I visited after seeing Kansai Walker and found it just past Kuromon Market. Google Maps led me to a slightly different location. The interior of the shop looked very stylish, and they serve luxurious shaved ice. The pistachio shaved ice had mochi inside, which was a new combination. We shared one between two people, but even one was very satisfying.

The shaved ice melts softly in your mouth, and the cream on top has a rich sweet potato flavor that is smooth and creamy. It was truly delicious, so I highly recommend this shaved ice to both sweet potato and mango lovers. I can't wait to try another shaved ice soon!

It's getting hot so I decided to have shaved ice. I passed through the increasingly crowded Kuromon Market and headed to Imokko-san, a shop specializing in creamy sweet potatoes. Creamy sweet potatoes are irresistible to potato lovers. I ordered the Creamy Sweet Potato for 1200 yen and the Strawberry and Sweet Potato Brulee for 790 yen. I also ordered an iced tea, which came in a cute bulldog cup. It's adorable but a bit hard to hold, with the bulldog's face in a grab style. After a short wait, the shaved ice arrived. It was huge, with a mountain of shaved ice topped with a fist-sized creamy sweet potato and strawberries. To avoid dropping the sweet potato, I moved it to a nearby plate first. The creamy sweet potato cream was deliciously sweet and the ice was fluffy and melted in my mouth. As I ate, I discovered layers of caramel sauce, homemade strawberry jam, warabi mochi, condensed milk, and creamy sweet potato pudding, keeping the flavors interesting until the end. It never got monotonous, which was great. The brulee had a crispy caramel topping with creamy sweet potato underneath. It was quite sweet with chocolate chips, but the sliced strawberries provided a refreshing balance. Personally, I prefer it a bit less sweet. The sweet potato chips served as a nice palate cleanser. After enjoying the shaved ice, I felt refreshingly cool all over, which helped me endure the heat a bit better. There were other varieties of shaved ice available, so I'll definitely come back for more to stay cool.
