[Osaka, Higashi-Umeda] ▶︎ Located an 8-minute walk from Osaka Metro Higashi-Umeda Station, this popular restaurant in a trendy and pop-style interior on the Higashi-Nakadori shopping street in Umeda offers Korean cuisine. The first floor has a Char Siu Punch, and the restaurant is located on the 3rd floor. The cute pink-themed interior features a large monitor playing K-POP music. With table seating and semi-private rooms, the restaurant has a total of 36 seats and is affordable and fun. We visited for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Arriving about 10 minutes early, we found several people already lining up before opening. Surprisingly, it was a very popular restaurant! We went there with the intention of trying the dancing octopus hot pot "Nakkopse," and it turned out to be quite popular! The lunch special offers all-you-can-eat and drink for 2,500 yen! The main dishes include Samgyeopsal and Nakkopse, among 8 other choices, with side dishes like Chijimi available for unlimited table orders. Additionally, there is a buffet of side dishes and cakes included at this unbelievable price. The food menu is extensive, and we ended up ordering so much that we couldn't finish everything. Orders are placed through a QR code. The restaurant is popular among women in their twenties who are all captivated by K-POP. It is a perfect spot for these girls. Despite being busy, the staff are kind, polite, and above all, cute and charming. The food was very satisfying, and we had no complaints. The octopus is cut in half from the head while still alive and added to the pot in a lively manner. When cooked, the staff cuts the octopus into bite-sized pieces, with plenty of chewy octopus and hormones. ● Garlic Chijimi ● Seafood Chijimi: Crispy and chewy with plenty of seafood. A must-order dish! ● Bossam: Steamed pork served in a basket with miso and lettuce, quite filling. ● Sundubu: Spicier than Nakkopse, with plenty of pork. ● Yamnyom Chicken ● Honey Mustard Chicken: Large portions, tender and crispy. ● Japchae: The best with chewy Korean cellophane noodles, a personal favorite. A must-order! ● Cheese Kimbap: Kimbap with the familiar stretchy cheese.
