The prices are cheap, yet the food is really delicious! It's hard to find a place with such great value for money. - Chef's assorted sashimi plate: 1,209 yen The sashimi was delicious, with a sweet soy sauce that paired really well with the fish. - Soft-boiled egg with sea urchin and salmon roe: 989 yen The combination of the soft-boiled egg, crunchy salmon roe, and rich sea urchin was amazing. - Seared Kobe beef with sea urchin and salmon roe: 549 yen each Although I didn't try it, my friend said it was delicious and the meat was really good. - Crab miso gratin: 929 yen I wanted to have seconds of this dish, it was so delicious. The crab miso was rich and creamy, and the taste was amazing. - Famous rare octopus tempura: 1,099 yen The tempura had a nice crunch and the octopus had a sweet flavor. It was a unique and delicious dish. - Corn tempura: 549 yen The large corn tempura was sweet and crunchy, making it a delightful snack. - Grated wasabi on nagaimo (Chinese yam): 549 yen A light and refreshing dish with a hint of wasabi. It was a perfect palate cleanser. - Tempura: 99 yen each Although I forgot to take a picture, the tempura was average. It included asparagus, sweet potato, and yam. - Drinks: Sake was 549 yen per glass, with a variety of options like Dassai, Bakuren, and Kudoki Jozu. I enjoyed drinking without worrying about the price. The restaurant was always full and a bit noisy with many young customers. If it was a bit quieter, it would have been perfect! Overall, it was a great dining experience and I will definitely come back again!

The interior of the restaurant is a bit small, but the tables are adequately spaced apart so it didn't feel cramped. The sashimi recommended by the manager was incredibly delicious! The special sauce for aged fish was also amazing! The tempura was freshly fried with thick ingredients that went well with alcohol. Some menu items were sold out, so I'd like to visit a bit earlier next time.

The restaurant name is often heard but I never had the chance to go until now. Finally, I went in and found that it was a seafood restaurant with a very lively and colorful interior. The customers ranged from young people to older salarymen. I ordered the recommended sashimi platter, tempura, and a few other dishes. The sashimi was fresh and the aged sashimi had a rich flavor and a chewy texture that I won't forget. Delicious! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and I ended up drinking a bit too much. This is definitely a place I will visit again.

I visited with a friend from Korea. We ordered a sashimi platter, rare fried octopus, and other dishes. It was Sunday, but it was great to find a restaurant with delicious fish. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.

A lively and fun restaurant. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, but the simmered cod was also tasty. The Chinchirorin highball was enjoyable! The staff provided great service, and even though the seating was a bit cramped, it didn't bother us too much because we had such a good time.

I went to Ta no Taisan in Umeda~( ˊᵕˋ )♡ The name of the restaurant is so fitting, right? You go down the stairs to the basement! The interior is bright with counter and table seating available! The staff, dressed in traditional Japanese attire, were energetic and friendly! We ordered a sashimi platter, sea grapes, rare Akashi octopus, tempura, fried oysters, and sea urchin carbonara( •ω•ฅ).。.:*♡ The specialty Akashi octopus was perfectly rare with a great texture~♡ So delicious, a must-order item~( ˊᵕˋ )♡ The sashimi was also amazing, especially the aged tuna! They offer a variety of seasonal dishes, so you can enjoy fresh and seasonal ingredients anytime you visit♡ The appetizers were a bit too generous in portion size (´・ω・`;) Thank you for the feast~( ˊᵕˋ )♡

The other day, I went to this place for a friend's birthday celebration, booking the Akashi course. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and had a stylish izakaya vibe. The course had a good amount of food and the staff were quick to bring drinks, which was helpful. In terms of taste, the sashimi was outstanding! The aged fish was served with salt or soy sauce with wasabi. The fish was thick, fresh, and delicious without any fishy smell. Other highlights included uni and ikura wrapped in meat, octopus tempura, and a satisfying seafood bowl with plenty of salmon roe. The dessert at the end was taiyaki shaped like a fish, but I would have preferred something a bit lighter (lol). Also, it would have been nice if the course included something like red miso soup. Thank you for the meal!

The taste is delicious. The interior of the restaurant is small, so it can be a bit noisy. Not related to the food, but I requested a birthday celebration and received no response. If they couldn't accommodate it, I would have appreciated a reply. On the day of, they also brought out the celebration at the wrong time, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, we didn't have utensils when the dessert arrived, so we had to call a staff member to bring them.

The restaurant was lively and packed, but the first drink was a bit slow to arrive. However, there were plenty of dishes and the cost performance was satisfying. The all-you-can-drink and course menu cost 5000 yen per person. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The aged fish was tasty, although I'm not sure how it was aged. The fried taiyaki served at the end was especially delicious!

I finally visited a restaurant that I had been curious about, as I managed to secure a last-minute reservation. Even on a Monday night, the place was bustling with people. The seafood was fresh, and the sashimi was delicious! For the finale, I tried the popular ikura rice bowl, which was tasty whether eaten as is or with added broth. I definitely want to go back again!

Recommended izakaya for those who want to eat fresh fish in Umeda. The ikura and seafood donburi are a must-try with a big impact! The photo shows a serving for 4 people. The Kobe beef, sea urchin, and ikura dish costs 499 yen. The popular Akashi octopus taco fried dish costs 980 yen. Seasonal fish simmered dish is also available. Sashimi starts at 580 yen for one person, with a selection of 5-6 types of sashimi. They also have aged fish which was delicious. The logo-embossed glasses are cute! @tainotaiumeda in Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Kita-ku, Doyamacho 1-2. Opening hours: 17:00-23:30 (Last order at 23:00). Prices range from 4,000 yen. Close to Umeda Station and Nakazakicho. No regular holidays. Male-female ratio is 6:4.

I went for dinner during my trip to Osaka. The restaurant was so stylish that it didn't feel like a typical seafood izakaya. I had made a reservation before my trip. The seafood was all fresh and went well with the drinks. The aged fish, steamed giant clam, and grilled oysters were especially delicious! The staff were also very kind, creating a great atmosphere. I hope they open a branch in Tokyo too!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is like a casual izakaya, with loud voices around so it doesn't feel very calm. The aged sashimi was delicious and my friends were satisfied. The service from the staff was good, and we were able to leave without feeling any stress. However, the second glass of oolong highball was too strong in alcohol and didn't taste like oolong, so I couldn't enjoy it, which is why I gave this rating. The first glass of plum wine was delicious.

This is a high cost-performance restaurant. The 999 yen sashimi platter includes both aged fish and fresh fish, making it better than the 599 yen option. The Hirame Engawa Ponzu for 499 yen is also satisfying with plenty of ingredients. There are so many menu options that if you are dining alone, you won't be able to order everything you want.

I went with my partner so it was fun. The most delicious dish was the mentaiko and negi with sesame oil. The rest was just okay. But everything looked colorful and beautiful, which was enjoyable. The uni carbonara felt like the noodles were overcooked.

I used the lunch menu at an izakaya! The most popular dish seemed to be the ikura donburi, which looked amazing from the presentation. The portion size was just right, but for men, it might be a bit on the smaller side. It was a holiday, but it wasn't crowded, so we were able to get a table right away.

I finally visited a restaurant that was recommended to me 2 years ago. Due to the shortened business hours, there were only 2-3 groups of customers in the restaurant. The place was quite spacious with many table seats. I ordered some dishes along with a highball. The menu had a lot of options, so it was hard to choose. Among the dishes we ordered, the Akashi octopus rare fried chicken was the best by far! We also enjoyed the grilled collar of golden eye snapper. I wanted to order the popular rice bowl that I had seen in photos, but I was too full to eat more. We ate and drank quite a lot, and the bill came to around 15,000 yen for two people, which was reasonably priced. (I always end up drinking too much...)

We made a reservation at this restaurant for a year-end party! The crowd was on the younger side. We were a mix of all ages, so it was quite surprising. The sashimi is quite pricey. A serving (about 4 pieces) costs 580 yen, and the premium sashimi is 980 yen. Expensive! And the taste is just average! Everything else is also expensive. Why is it always full? I didn't quite understand. And we reserved for 8 people, but can 8 people really fit in these cramped seats? We were squeezed in. There was a child with us, so it was nice that we got free soft drinks by losing at rock-paper-scissors, but other than that, the staff's attitude wasn't great. Why is it always full? I didn't quite understand. (2nd visit) Everything was just average in taste. However, everything was priced on the higher side, and despite coming with a large group, we ended up paying a considerable amount. Hmm. I probably won't come back.
