SEX MACHINE is a charcoal-grilled yakiniku restaurant located on the west side of the south end of Dotonbori, diagonally across from the Sauna New Japan building. The entrance has a cute and friendly staff member who greeted me and showed me inside. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with record clocks, pictures of soul singer J.B, and wall art with drawings and signatures. The menu offers interestingly named set menus and course meals, but since I was dining alone, I opted for a simple meal. I had the tender and delicious Harami (marinated), the addictive Salted Beef Tongue, a small bowl of rice with Korean seaweed, kimchi, and oolong tea. Despite sitting at the counter right in front of the staff, I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. They were attentive when needed but also gave me space to enjoy my meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I would like to revisit with family or friends next time. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I went with a friend and made a reservation. Sometimes people who didn't have a reservation showed up, but they couldn't get in depending on the timing, so reservations are necessary. Each piece of meat was delicious and satisfying. The prices are a bit high, but you get quality meat that matches the price, so I want to go again.

The name of the restaurant is interesting and it's located right near Don Quijote and Yoshinoya! The staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable. I ordered a salted tongue combo with two types of tongue, and both were delicious, but the premium tongue exceeded my expectations. I also ordered raw heart and cherry blossom yukhoe, which were also delicious. I ended up eating two bowls of rice. (laughs)

The meat was delicious and the overall ambiance was nice. I made a reservation for two at the opening time and managed to get in. By the time we finished our meal in about an hour, there were already three groups waiting in line. Personally, I found the lean meat to be particularly delicious.

I have visited SEX MACHINE in Horie, as I have already tried all the other yakiniku restaurants in the area. Despite the intimidating name, the staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. They make you feel comfortable and welcome, almost like a regular customer even on your first visit. I ordered kimchi salad, premium tongue, harami, and marbled kalbi. The menu clearly distinguishes between domestic and imported meats. The taste and prices are average, but the great service makes me want to come back again. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the long-established yakiniku restaurant called Sex Machine in Dotonbori, Osaka Minami for my second stop. This place has been around for over 20 years. It used to be located on the 2nd or 3rd floor of a building called Toyo Indo. When you come here, you have to try the Dynamite Roast. They have been serving it for a long time. The hormone (offal) is also quite fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable. Since they use a smokeless roaster, you don't have to worry about the smell. It's a nice yakiniku restaurant in Osaka Minami. There are quite a few young people here.

Yesterday, I visited a yakiniku restaurant for the first time with a senior colleague from work. We had a variety of cuts like horumon and harami. The staff were very polite and the food and drinks came out quickly after ordering, which was nice. The part-time female staff member was as cute as an idol and very friendly, which made the meal even more enjoyable. It had been a while since I had such a great yakiniku experience. I will definitely come back again.

It's a bit pricey, but the staff is friendly and you can enjoy delicious dishes. The seating area is a bit cramped though.

The recommended MACHINE set was filling and delicious on its own. The meat grilled over charcoal was very tasty and I think it would go well with rice or cold noodles (I was too full to eat more, haha).

The lack of all-you-can-drink option and being told to leave after 2 hours despite it being advertised as a 2.5-hour limit were disappointing.
