I had been curious about this place for a while and finally had the chance to visit. I went around 10:30 am on a weekday and found a wide variety of options, all looking delicious. I ended up buying a teriyaki chicken bagel and a fig danish. The bagel had a chewy texture with three generous pieces of chicken, making it very satisfying and tasty. The danish was sweeter than it looked, with a rich custard and sweet dough, although the fig flavor was a bit subtle. Overall, I enjoyed both items and would love to try more from this place in the future. I will definitely be coming back!

Today, I will introduce my favorite bakery called "Tsumugi" in Ibaraki. It is a slightly upscale bakery with a stylish blue sign. It is located near Hankyu Ibaraki Station, making it convenient for both locals and visitors from afar. It is completely unrelated to the famous ramen shop "Tsumugu" in Ibaraki. I arrived before opening time, determined to get my favorite fish burger and egg muffin. Although the shelves were almost empty when the store opened, I was able to find my favorite croissants like wiener croissants and mini croissants. I also bought curry bread and BLT sandwich that my partner likes. The bread here has a great taste, maybe due to the quality of wheat used. The croissants are crispy and the curry sauce is delicious. I love enjoying them with an iced coffee in the morning on my day off. I really enjoy waking up early and having a nice breakfast. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited before noon. There were plenty of bread options. The croissant with butter had a strong flavor. The layers didn't feel too thick. The teriyaki chicken bagel was delicious. The seasoning of the chicken matched the bread well. The cheese and bacon panini was the best! Bacon and cheese are a perfect combination. Thank you for the meal ⭐︎

A bakery in Ibuki City. It's not an area I usually visit, but I decided to check out this popular local shop. The store isn't very big, but they have a wide variety of pastries. They offer sweet and savory pastries that are perfect for everyday enjoyment. The "Four Cheese Croissant" was delicious even when cold, but I'd love to try it fresh from the oven. I was pleasantly surprised by the "Macadamia & White Chocolate" pastry, as pastries with macadamia nuts are rare. The sticky white chocolate cream paired perfectly with it. I also tried the "Cream Pan" and the "Goma Salt Pork Sausage Roll," both of which were delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would definitely visit again if I have the chance.

I purchased a variety of side dishes bread and sweet bread. The walnut bread had plenty of walnuts, the dough was slightly sweet, and it remained soft and easy to eat until the end even after being eaten over several days. Tsugumi-san has a wide selection of soft bread and is recommended.

Near Hankyu Ibaraki-shi Station, there is a small bakery with a wide variety of bread. It's unclear whether their specialty is hard or soft bread. I purchased a bread with sausage inside and a loaf of bread. There were three types of loaves available, but the one with sausage seemed to be the main one. The sausage-filled bread had a great balance between the sausage and the dough. Their savory bread selection seems to be of high quality. I recommend it for lunch. I toasted the loaf of bread and it was surprisingly soft with a moderate wheat flavor. It was delicious and reasonably priced, making it a good choice for breakfast.

I went to Tsugi, a bakery I had been wanting to visit for a while, in Ibuki. The blue shop is cute. I visited around 3:30 pm. Oh! There were surprisingly few breads left! It seems like this is a popular shop and I came too late. They only had muffins, canelés, and bread loaves. I wasn't in the mood for muffins. I was craving bread... bread~! Despite that, they had two types of plain bread loaves and walnut bread, so that's good enough. The shop's selling area was surprisingly small. I had passed by the shop before and thought it was long sideways, as shown in the first picture, but most of it was actually a bread workshop where they bake the bread. I bought the walnut bread for ¥400 (excluding tax) and the Nagashima-cho bread half for ¥210 (excluding tax). The bread loaves are small but very reasonably priced. When I opened the bag, it had a very nice aroma, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning. I was hesitant to buy two bread loaves, but I love walnuts, so I ended up buying the walnut bread as well. When I took it out of the tray, it felt quite heavy and soft, but it was even softer than I thought. I sliced it into 4 pieces, but it was so soft that I cut the edge into two pieces and had a taste. Even without toasting, it was slightly sweet, moist, and soft, and delicious. The deliciousness of plain bread as it is, is genuine. It was a great decision to buy it. I would like to try other types when they are available next time.

This time, I visited "Tsumugi" in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture. The location is close to Hankyu Takatsuki Station. I visited on a rainy day, so the shop was not crowded. However, since I visited in the afternoon, most of the items were sold out. I bought a muffin that was still available, and when I tried it, it was so delicious! I wish I had bought more because it was that good. I would like to visit again next time. Thank you for the meal.

The old man in Osaka loves mixed juice. Near Hankyu Ibaraki Station, at Boulangerie Tsumugi, he got a sesame salt pork and cheese wiener with a mini croissant, along with a mixed juice made from 100% apple, peach, banana, pineapple, and passion fruit juice from Nakahira Farm in Nagano. He found a sign saying that it tastes even better when you add milk after drinking it. He also thought the bread looked delicious and enjoyed the smell of baking bread in the shop. #OsakaGourmet

I had been waiting for an opportunity to visit the French restaurant in Ibaraki, as the manager claimed it had the best baguettes in town. The restaurant had a stylish blue-painted exterior with blue and white striped awnings. It was limited to seating only 5 people inside, so I had to wait outside for a while. It was clear that it was a popular spot as more customers arrived after me. Unfortunately, the baguettes were sold out by late morning on that Saturday. Disappointed, I purchased four other items instead. One was the nostalgic Napolitan Dog for 320 yen, a weekend-only item. It was spaghetti Napolitan sandwiched between bread with octopus-shaped sausages, which was a fun touch. The hearty Napolitan filling paired well with the soft bread. I also tried the Kalbi Tartine for 200 yen, which had a generous amount of sweet and savory meat topped with plenty of cheese. The baguette had a crispy crust and a chewy crumb, making it delicious. The Walnut Campagne for 300 yen was a gentle type of bread with a subtle sourness and a moderate amount of walnuts. Lastly, the Hard Toast for 270 yen was my favorite, with a crispy texture and no sweetness, perfect for toasting. I was told that on weekdays, the baguettes are usually still available, so I need to go back for a rematch and try the Tartines made with baguettes.

"Tsugumi" in front of Menya Ikei, north of Hankyu Ibaraki Station. The blue roof is a landmark. Although it is a small shop, it is open to see the process of making, and customers are coming one after another. ★ Rich milk melon bread 120 yen (excluding tax) ★ Grilled beef kalbi tartine 200 yen ★ Almond chocolate 240 yen Bag 5 yen Total 609 yen When you re-bake the tartine, the sweet and savory kalbi and mayonnaise go well with the baguette, which is delicious (^-^) And the melon bread, with a crunchy surface and a very moist and fluffy inside ( ゚Д゚) Delicious! It's a slightly small size that you can eat deliciously. The almond chocolate has a crispy croissant-like dough with a rich chocolate bar inside for a long time, and the almond grains are fragrant. All the breads were very delicious (^-^)

I entered around 3 pm and most of the items were already sold out. I purchased a chocolate muffin and a panettone. The chocolate muffin was delicious even when cold, it was fluffy. The panettone wasn't too dry and was enjoyable. It had dried fruits inside and was quite big, but I didn't get tired of eating it. If I have the chance to go again, I would like to visit earlier next time!

I visited Boulangerie TSUMUGI for take-out bread. - Baguette ¥259 - Fig Pecan ¥259 - Croque Monsieur ¥216 The baguette was soft and crusty, quite delicious. The Fig Pecan is a crunchy bread with figs, pecans, and cream cheese. I cut it, toasted it, and spread butter on top. The Croque Monsieur could use a bit more cheese sauce overall. It was heated up, but having a bit more moisture would be nice. I enjoyed the bread. Thank you for the meal.

In April 2021, when I entered the store around 1 pm, there was a limit of up to 5 people. Just as I entered, everyone seemed to have left. The variety of paninis and side dishes was fewer than expected, maybe sold out by lunchtime. Wiener Bacon Pizza 302 yen ★3.4 Wiener, bacon, cheese, basil, onion. The cheese around it was crispy, with mayonnaise, just a delicious pizza. Chocolate Crunch 162 yen ★3.1 There was a thin brown powder sprinkled on top of the chocolate, which was crunchy. Cream is sandwiched in the bread. Average, as expected with the keyword "crunch." Almond Chocolate 162 yen ★3.2 Croissant dough with stick-shaped chocolate inside, some almond bits for a crispy texture. Sliced almonds on the outside. Just good.

I visited this cafe on my way back from another cafe nearby in the summer. They didn't have much bread left, so I didn't buy anything. When I asked the cute smiling staff if they usually have croissant amandine, she said they don't have it in the current season (which was summer) but will start selling it in the fall. She also mentioned that they take reservations. I called in the morning on the day of my visit and they had some available, so I asked them to set aside two for me. When I went back around 3 pm on a weekday, there wasn't much bread left, just like last time. The Croissant Amandine was delicious, with a buttery aroma and a moist, thick layer of almond cream on top. The custard cream inside was not too sweet and overall it was very tasty. The surface was perfect, but it would have been even better if the cream inside was almond cream. It felt like the bread from a delicious bakery. I'm sure their other bread is also delicious. I will definitely visit again if I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal.

On the way back from Ikei, I made a little detour and got some takeout. Tomato x basil x four cheese x mozzarella cheese. The acidity of the tomato and the richness of the cheese spread out juicily! The bread is chewy with a crispy surface and a nice brown color. The texture is great. The amount of cheese is amazing and super delicious! And also, sweet chestnut and cashew nut campagne. The sweetness of the autumn chestnut and the texture of the nuts are delicious! It's like a side dish or a pastry, but it might go well with wine! The campagne also has a nice wheat flavor and a crispy finish. It was a lucky harvest! Thank you for the good meal.

Today, I had some business at Ibaraki-shi Station, so I stopped by this place as well. It's a shop that I couldn't visit before because I always passed by when I didn't have time. It's a shop that boasts a more authentic style than a typical local bakery. Even though it was late in the evening and they were running out of items, I was able to get a curry bread. It was a great addition to my meal. The bread was thin and the filling was substantial. I'm curious to try their other breads as well.

I found a cute shop on the way to Menya Shichisan, with a good smell wafting outside. I ended up coming here after eating ramen haha. Curry bread for ¥180. I don't know how long it's been since it was made, but it's crispy and the curry flavor is good! The stylish atmosphere inside and the staff are also great!

Shop Data Shop Name: Tsumugi Location: 8-16 Nagaidai-cho, Ibaraki City, Osaka Access: 4 minutes walk from Hankyu Ibaraki-shi Station Phone Number: 072-665-8288 Regular Holiday: Irregular Business Hours: 7:00-19:00 Tabelog Page: https://tabelog.com/osaka/A2706/A270604/27082762/ I found a bakery called "Tsumugi" right near Ibaraki-shi Station! On weekdays, I enjoy going out for drinks, and on days off, I usually go around visiting bakeries. Hello, this is Mach. I discovered another nice bakery, "Bakery Tsumugi," located a 4-minute walk from Ibaraki-shi Station. I visited while driving, and there is a coin parking nearby. The shop is small but has a wide variety of products! Inside the store, there is a lineup of various bread. It seems like they specialize in panini, tartines, sandwiches, and other side dishes. They also seem to have several types of bread. I was drawn to the slow-cooked curry bread for 180 yen. The thin dough has a crispy and light texture but a pleasantly chewy feel! The sweetness and richness of the domestic beef and onions are plentiful! The spice that comes through later is also doing a great job. The Teriyaki Chicken Mozzarella Panini for 280 yen is a must-try. The sear marks are appetizing. Plenty of cheese and teriyaki chicken! This is a sure bet. The Porcini Mushroom Tartine for 240 yen is cooked with porcini, eringi, and mushrooms, with gooey cheese on top. The umami components of the mushrooms are unleashed. The side dishes are all carefully crafted with generous fillings. I thought the hard baguette was hard, but the dough is soft and chewy. The Macadamia White Chocolate for 260 yen is a hard type with whole macadamia nuts kneaded in. The white chocolate is also kneaded in, giving it a subtly gentle sweetness. It also has a white chocolate cream filling!! Elegant and rich sweetness. This one was the best by far! I feel like eating it again...! A bakery located a short walk from the station. When I arrived, it was lunchtime and the shop was full of customers. They had a variety of breads from simple baguettes to meal breads and pastries. I purchased a bread made with sweet potatoes and apples, which I love. The Tartine had chunks of apples and sweet potatoes on a thick baguette. The sweet Tartine was satisfying for both my stomach and heart. It was lovely how they turned sweet potatoes and apples into a Tartine! There were many other delicious breads, so I would like to visit again at a different time. Thank you for the meal.
