I visited at 6 pm on a weekday. Next to me were an elderly couple, and a bit later, a group of people having a farewell party at the back. It was a good thing I made a reservation as the restaurant was quickly full. The meat, bibimbap, and cold noodles were all delicious. Especially the bibimbap (not in a stone pot) had just the right seasoning and was really tasty. I will definitely visit again next time.

Located right near the Shinano Hashi intersection, this yakiniku restaurant offers a lunch menu that caught my eye on Tabelog. The price has changed since, but the Harumi & Kalbi set now costs 1200 yen. With 200g of meat, it's still quite satisfying. Another nice touch is that the rice is delicious.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the first time in a while to have yakiniku with work colleagues. A junior colleague recommended this restaurant based on their previous experience with the great atmosphere and taste. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the dishes that complemented the ingredients were also impressive. The interior design was also charming, making it a pleasant time spent together. I would like to visit this place again in the future.

Near the office, I had lunch with three colleagues at a yakiniku restaurant where I had been before. It's located near the always crowded "Minced Meat Mania" place, and as I glanced over, I saw only two people waiting in line. We decided to go in. The lunch options ranged from 1,050 yen to 1,000 yen, which was a bit more expensive than before due to a price increase in 2022. I chose the "Kalbi and Harami 200g" set for 1,050 yen, with free extra rice. The food was served promptly by the one female staff member, who was working efficiently. The set included meat, rice, wakame soup, kimchi, and two types of sauces (soy sauce-based and miso-based), which I found to be delicious. The meat was tender and the overall quality was decent for the price. However, as a hungry guy, I felt the portion size was a bit small. Also, the grill space was a bit limited for four people to cook their meat individually. Despite these minor issues, I enjoyed the meal and found it to be tasty.

Yakiniku is the best after all! Since I didn't feel like choosing, and the prices were cheap, I ordered all of today's recommendations. The recommended tongue is delicious! The specialty negi-tan is also amazing!! Yakiniku is just so tasty. It's the end of the year, so only people with reservations were allowed in, it's really bustling! It's cheap and the food is delicious!

I've been craving beef since yesterday, so I decided to go for yakiniku! I couldn't make it to my usual spot, so I ended up at a nearby minced meat shop. I glanced at the line next door while entering the restaurant without any trouble. As soon as I sat down at a 4-person table, the waiter asked if I had decided on my order. I replied, "No... let me take a look at the menu first." I spotted a set menu with kalbi and loin. I chose the service lunch set with 200g of kalbi and loin for 980 yen. When asked about the rice portion, I thought I could handle a medium serving since I was hungry, but I opted for a small portion. The charcoal grill was already set up, so the meat cooked quickly. In about a minute, the whole set was served on a tray. The kalbi was quite thin... I decided to start grilling it anyway. The kalbi cooked quickly due to its thinness, causing flames to flare up as the fat dripped down. It was a bit sad... thin slices of meat just don't compare to thicker cuts in yakiniku. The loin, which was supposed to be firmer, also had a slightly off-putting taste... not what I expected from loin. Maybe it was just that particular piece? The waitress swiftly extinguished the flames each time they flared up by placing ice around the grill. The rice, though soft, was more like a regular portion even though I ordered a small. The meal also came with kimchi and wakame soup. Thick cuts of meat are definitely the way to go for yakiniku... Thanks for the meal.

On this day, I visited here to satisfy my craving for yakiniku, which I had been bookmarking for a while. ①About the store's exterior, atmosphere, interior, etc. It's about a 5-minute walk from Honmachi Station and located next to the popular queue restaurant "Ground Meat Mania." There is a red flag outside the store that says "Horumon Yakiniku." The menu board with photos is displayed, creating a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Inside the store, there are spacious table seats lined up. Since it was a time outside of the lunch peak, there were empty seats inside. I was seated at a table for 4 people by myself. The seat I was led to was bright with sunlight pouring in from a large window, creating a clean and comfortable atmosphere. ②About the food. There are several lunch menu options with different meat combinations, and I hesitated on which one to choose, but I ordered the most popular "Kalbi & Harami." For rice, you can choose from large, medium, or small, and I chose "medium" without hesitation. After a while, a white plastic tray like those used in company cafeterias was served with meat, soup rice, kimchi, and sauce. The plates were also plastic... Today I was in the mood for meat! I really wanted steak, but I couldn't find a steak restaurant in this area that was around 1000 yen. So, I thought about having yakiniku instead! I searched on Tabelog and found a place that seemed a bit far, but reachable. I hopped on my cross bike as usual and headed there. It wasn't as far as I thought, so I might expand my range in the future. I locked my cross bike and went inside the restaurant. It was a bit late for lunch, so there were only two other groups of customers. Despite the spacious interior, I was seated between those two groups for some reason. I ordered the Kalbi & Harami 200g with some vegetables, and asked if they had any salad. They mentioned that they had salad, even though it wasn't on the menu. They replenished the charcoal right in front of me. In about a minute, my lunch set arrived. It was as fast as Yoshinoya. However, it was too fast as the grill wasn't hot yet. Shortly after, the salad arrived. It was a daikon salad with sesame dressing, crunchy and delicious. I thought it was time to start, so I put the Harami on the grill. There was no sizzling sound, so I took it out and started with the thinly sliced Kalbi instead. It took a while, but the Kalbi was finally cooked. I took a bite and it was delicious, sweet and oily. I've been eating lean meat lately, so Kalbi was a nice change. The kimchi side dish was also good. After finishing the Kalbi, I finally got to enjoy my favorite Harami. I put it on the grill and waited for it to cook. I took a bite and it was delicious, the best part of the meal. The rice was soft and tasty. The soup was average. By the time I finished eating, the charcoal was at its best for grilling. If I can have charcoal-grilled yakiniku for around 1000 yen for lunch, I am satisfied. It was another delicious lunch today.

Despite its originally chic appearance, the restaurant now displays many banners outside to attract customers. Inside, the atmosphere is calm, with smokeless roasters at each table. The menu offers affordable options, starting from under 1,000 yen for lunch sets that come with rice, soup, and kimchi. I ordered the "Kalbi & Harami Set" (200g) and grilled it over charcoal before dipping it in sauce. The meat was slightly fatty but decent in quality, and the two sauces provided were also quite good. Overall, it's a casual place where you can enjoy yakiniku without breaking the bank.

Having lunch with the handsome sales guy after a long time, we decided to go for yakiniku. It's been a while since I crossed Yotsubashi-suji from the southwest area of my workplace. This place seems quite popular, as it was already full by 12 o'clock. There are quite a few yakiniku restaurants in the Honmachi area. Some are only open for dinner, but many also serve lunch. One of them is this place. Looking at the menu, there are quite a lot of options. Including variations based on the grams of meat, there are over 20 types. Oh my ('◇')ゞ It's a waste of time to ponder, so both of us went for the top menu item. How easy-going... ■ Service Lunch (Kalbi & Harami 160g) ¥850 It was quite satisfying. The staff were efficient and explained things clearly. The main meat looked just as expected. The Harami was like Harami... and the Kalbi was like Kalbi... The thinly sliced Kalbi can easily get overcooked if you're not careful. There are two types of sauce, soy sauce-based and miso-based. You can enjoy changing the taste. The female staff members were diligent in putting ice on the grill to prevent flames from rising due to the fat in the Kalbi. They keep a close eye on each table. Impressive. The fatty Kalbi had a sweet and rich taste. The Harami wasn't top-notch, but still satisfying. Maybe it would have been better to go for the 200g option at ¥950. We chatted while finishing our meal. The kimchi and wakame soup were great side dishes. This place seems like a good deal for dinner as well. However, there are many high-level yakiniku restaurants in the Honmachi area. I felt like having some hearty meat, so I visited this restaurant. Perhaps due to the influence of the coronavirus, there were only a few customers when I arrived around 1 pm. Cooking yakiniku over charcoal made me feel a bit luxurious even at lunchtime. There were no vegetables on the side, just meat, kimchi, and white rice! Simple and satisfying! The meat itself was a bit thin for the kalbi, but the dipping sauce coated it well, which actually turned out to be quite nice.

I visited once but it was full, so I had to come back later. I had 160g of kalbi and harami, with extra rice for 850 yen. As expected, yakiniku is delicious. In the case of yakiniku, not only would it be nice to have a larger portion, but also to be able to get rice refills. So I enjoyed a healthy full stomach.

It was a company year-end party with a special staff of 5 people. I wasn't feeling well due to my chronic illness since this morning, so I took it easy. It was my first time at this restaurant, and it's been a long time since I had yakiniku. I often eat horumon, but it's been a while. The restaurant had a nice upscale feel with a meaty aroma. We toasted with draft beer and enjoyed kimchi platter with napa cabbage, kakuteki, and cucumber. They were all well-seasoned. The bean sprout namul had a nice sesame oil flavor. The first meat we had was thick-cut beef tongue. It wasn't quite diced, but it was quite thick. We enjoyed the sweetness and texture. We also had beef steak, herb-marinated chicken thigh, and samgyeopsal with meat miso. We ate them with either sunny lettuce, perilla leaves, or sesame. The thick-cut loin and tetchyan were marinated in sauce. For drinks, we had Korean alcohol like makgeolli and highball. We could choose between bibimbap or kuppap, and had sherbet for palate cleansing. It was a very satisfying meal. I have three more party plans this week.

There are many yakiniku restaurants that use gas grills, but there are few that provide charcoal-grilled lunch. After reading reviews from others, I decided to visit this place someday. Feeling under the weather today due to the changing seasons, I decided to walk in the light rain to recharge my energy. It took about 10 minutes to get a seat since it was past 12 o'clock. Once seated, it took about 5 minutes to order at this popular restaurant. I chose the most popular service lunch option, which was the Kalbi and Harami combo. The portion of rice was quite large, but the grains were shiny. I used tongs to place the meat on the grill and had a bite of rice with kimchi while waiting for it to cook. The meat was delicious, especially the thick Harami which was tender and easy to chew. I blended the kimchi and grilled meat with the rice, finishing every last bit. It was a delicious yakiniku experience after a long time, and I felt happy to enjoy such a tasty and affordable lunch for ¥950. I think Honmachi is a great neighborhood.

You can choose from large, medium, or small portions of rice, and I chose medium. The rice portion was generous, more suitable for men. The meat was well-seasoned and easy to eat with cuts already made. The harami had a good thickness and was tender and delicious. The kalbi was thin, so it cooked quickly. It was surprisingly light and tasty. The meal also came with soup and kimchi, and overall satisfaction was high. Personally, I wished there were a bit more vegetables.

Today, I went to Honmachi for work again. It was around 12:30 pm and I was starving! I suggested going for lunch and Sapparine-san and my colleague from Kewpie agreed. Since it was hot, we decided to go somewhere where we could have cold noodles. So, we ended up at HONMACHI. We arrived a little after 12:30 pm. The restaurant was quite spacious and about 30% full. A female staff member welcomed us and showed us to our table. We checked the menu and confirmed our orders. This place has cold noodles on the menu, but when I saw the grilled meat options, I felt like having some meat. Plus, the Kalbi and Harami combo for 200g at 950 yen seemed quite affordable. So, I placed my order. Sapparine-san and my Kewpie colleague ordered the cold noodles and 100g of Kalbi for lunch. I ordered the Kalbi and Harami combo for 200g for lunch. I requested extra rice for free. The food arrived, and I was impressed by the generous portion of Kalbi and Harami. The Kalbi was thinly sliced with a good amount of fat and a sweet marinade, almost like sukiyaki. It was delicious even without any dipping sauce. The rice was also very satisfying. The Harami was slightly thicker with a chewy texture, typical of Harami. The quality of the meat was not exceptional, but for 950 yen, it was definitely a good deal. After a while, Sapparine-san and my Kewpie colleague's cold noodles arrived. The female staff member advised us to eat quickly as the noodles would get soggy. Both of them struggled to finish quickly, but eventually, they managed to eat it all. It's great to be able to enjoy a satisfying grilled meat lunch at an affordable price. Thank you for the meal!

The rice was a bit soft, but fluffy and delicious. The Kalbi had a good amount of fat and was thin, but it went well with the rice. The Harami had a good thickness, was tender, and had the umami flavor of lean meat. It's nice that they offer two types of sauce (soy sauce, miso). The portion was generous, and with the extra rice, it was a satisfying balance that included the kimchi. The only issue was the unfriendly service, but for the price of ¥950 including tax, it's a great deal! I want to try the Harami and Roast next time.

Everything I ate was delicious. The grilled green onion was particularly rich in flavor, especially after the waitress demonstrated how to eat it. The beef short rib was small, but packed with deliciousness. It was a bit disappointing that the waitress seemed a bit stiff, but she was attentive.
