Actually, I feel that white rice goes better with yakiniku than beer. With alcohol service restricted due to the pandemic, I have been leaning towards the style of "yakiniku for lunch! with white rice!" becoming more established in my mind. On this day, I visited here to satisfy my craving for yakiniku, which I had been bookmarking for a while. ①About the store's exterior, atmosphere, interior, etc. It's about a 5-minute walk from Honmachi Station and located next to the popular queue restaurant "Ground Meat Mania." There is a red flag outside the store that says "Horumon Yakiniku." The menu board with photos is displayed, creating a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Inside the store, there are spacious table seats lined up. Since it was a time outside of the lunch peak, there were empty seats inside. I was seated at a table for 4 people by myself. The seat I was led to was bright with sunlight pouring in from a large window, creating a clean and comfortable atmosphere. ②About the food. There are several lunch menu options with different meat combinations, and I hesitated on which one to choose, but I ordered the most popular "Kalbi & Harami." For rice, you can choose from large, medium, or small, and I chose "medium" without hesitation. After a while, a white plastic tray like those used in company cafeterias was served with meat, soup rice, kimchi, and sauce. The plates were also plastic... To provide yakiniku at a low price, various efforts must be made, but it feels somewhat bland. Let's get started and grill the meat! First, the kalbi. Since it is thinly sliced, it cooks quickly. The fatty part is also just right and goes well with white rice. It's nice that it's thinly sliced, so you can wrap the rice with the meat and eat it. On the other hand, Harami is thickly sliced. Grill it slowly. When you eat it with the well-balanced sweet and savory sauce, the firm umami of the beef stands out. This sauce is quite delicious. Meat, rice, meat, rice, kimchi, meat, rice... This is the loop of happiness haha With everything eaten, the volume was more than enough. I felt like my stomach was going to burst. ③About the staff's service. There was a young woman managing the hall alone. She handled everything from customer service to serving and payment, and it seemed a bit tough. However, she adjusted the heat frequently and provided attentive customer service. It would have been even better if she had greeted with a smile a little more. ④About the cost-performance ratio. I was able to enjoy grilling 200g of meat and eating it with well-cooked rice to my heart's content. The seasoning of the sauce was to my liking, so I was very satisfied. The atmosphere of the store was relaxed and easy to spend time in, so overall, I think the cost-performance ratio is good. ⑤Other things I noticed. Ladies, you may think that going to a yakiniku restaurant alone is a high hurdle, but it's no problem for lunch! It's very enjoyable to grill and eat meat at your own pace and in the order you want, haha.
