I ordered the course meal and was able to enjoy a variety of tempura dishes. All of the tempura were delicious. The sea bream rice had a very tasty broth, and even when I took the leftovers home and it cooled down, it was still delicious. It was nice to have a private room where I could enjoy my meal in a relaxed manner.

Visited to see the head chef who always takes care of us. The food was delicious last time, and it was delicious this time too! Every dish before the tempura was tasty. The seasonal Japanese cuisine using fresh ingredients is excellent. The tempura was fried carefully one by one, and we had a luxurious time in the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. We will definitely come back!

Overflowing with luxury! Seasonal tempura dishes come out one after another over the counter. Personally, I recommend the butterbur sprouts, scallops, and conger eel! They recommended eating everything with salt, which is evidence of the quality of the ingredients! I could eat as many bowls of the sea bream rice as I wanted for the finishing touch! Also, the special white fish dancing dish was innovative, but it made me appreciate the gift of life. The final dessert is also a shop that is particular about everything (^^)

Located in Nakanoshima Daibiru, I remember this place used to be more in the city center. I made a reservation to enjoy the reasonably priced tempura lunch here. I solemnly enjoyed freshly fried tempura at the counter. The famous sea bream rice was also satisfying as a finale. While some people choose to have their meal at a table, I recommend taking your time and enjoying it at the counter. Thank you for the meal. #Delicious

Dinner at Osaka Nakanoshima. A restaurant where you can enjoy a course of tempura and sea bream rice. It is located in a modern office building called Nakanoshima Daibiru. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm yet not too formal. The course starts with the classic tempura and sea bream rice. Before cooking, they show you the raw ingredients and explain. After some appetizers, the tempura is served. It was incredibly delicious, especially when paired with the recommended sake (you can choose your favorite from three types). It was a happy time. Finally, the sea bream rice was cooked perfectly and served at just the right time, with all the bones removed. The sea bream rice was so delicious that I even had seconds (and you can take any leftovers home as a souvenir). It was a wonderful experience. Thank you for the feast.

This is a long-established tempura restaurant. On this day, there was only one lunch option - the Roku-Kaku Bento. When you open it up, it looks just like the photo. The freshly fried, hot tempura is brought separately, and it's really delicious. I forgot to take a picture this time, so the pic I took is halfway through eating. There are actually more tempura included!

I made a reservation for the Tai Meshi course at Yotaro for my mother's birthday. Tai Meshi is our favorite dish, and we quickly decided that Yotaro's Tai Meshi is the best. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious, but the tempura was especially tasty that I ended up ordering more (lol). Despite that, the Tai Meshi was so delicious that I couldn't help but have seconds, which made me a little embarrassed. I could take home the leftovers, but there weren't many left... I want to clarify that it wasn't because there was little food. We also had Japanese sparkling wine, which was really delicious, and I ended up having three glasses. The service was excellent, and I would definitely like to visit again.

Located in a slightly secluded corner on the third floor of Daibiru, I had always been curious about this place but never visited because I thought it might be expensive. Since my usual soba and Chinese restaurants were full, I decided to take a peek. To my surprise, they offered a tempura lunch for exactly 1000 yen. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I went on a business trip to Osaka by plane. I usually stay overnight, but this time I decided to go for a day trip. I chose Yotaro Honeten for lunch, as my previous experience was great. They agreed to start at 4:30 pm, so I could leisurely enjoy tempura and sea bream rice. The tempura featured seasonal ingredients from all over Japan, and the sea bream rice was delicious. They also offer a variety of sake from around the country. You can even add more tempura if you like. I had a bowl of sea bream rice there and took the rest home. This place in Osaka is a favorite find of mine, with thoughtful touches throughout.

Before returning to Kyoto, I was treated to a meal by my junior, so this time I invited them as a treat. I found Yotarou while searching on Ikkyu. I had heard of the name before, but wasn't sure what to expect. I searched on Tabelog and found that they serve sea bream rice and tempura, which are my favorites. The reviews of the restaurant were also very positive. The office district on a Saturday was quiet and deserted, but I managed to arrive at the restaurant. The Ikkyu course was ¥4,500 per person, including sashimi, tempura, and sea bream rice cooked in a clay pot. It was my first time eating tempura in Kansai, and I was very satisfied with the quality of the food. The sea bream rice, which is their specialty, was delicious and there was plenty of it. I even got the leftovers neatly packed in a bento box as a souvenir. The taste and service were impeccable. I will definitely visit Yotarou again next time, but this time for dinner.

When I lived in Osaka, I used to love the sea bream rice! I was craving it after a long time, so I made a reservation, but the location had changed since I last visited. I later found out that they had moved quite some time ago. Time flies by so quickly. I was looking at the menu and decided to go with three glasses of my favorite sake. I ordered the 4500 yen course. It included two appetizers, a palate cleanser in between the tempura, a total of 8 tempura items, sea bream rice, pickles, miso soup, and dessert. The first two dishes were abalone and conger eel, both of which I love, so I was thrilled. The tempura started with a toast-fried shrimp paste, followed by shrimp, lotus root, asparagus, belt fish, myoga, corn, and sweet potato. Each piece was freshly fried right in front of me. They were all delicious, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. There was a refreshing palate cleanser in between. The sea bream rice, a specialty of the restaurant, was visually appealing and incredibly tasty. I couldn't finish it all, so they made onigiri for me to take home. I gave it to my daughter as a souvenir, and she was delighted to eat it! I don't remember the dessert (I forgot), but it was delicious until the end. It often includes fruits, but this time it had a nice sweetness to it. The staff at the restaurant were very pleasant and even escorted me out politely. If I come back to Osaka, I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

I went to celebrate my birthday. The staff members were all very polite and provided pleasant service. We had mentioned in advance that we both don't like Japanese sweets, so they prepared a dessert plate with fruits, which made us happy. However, the seasoning was too subtle, lacking a punch or depth of flavor. While I don't necessarily prefer strong flavors, it felt somewhat unsatisfying. I thought it was great that we could take the sea bream rice home as a souvenir!

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Watanabe Hashi Station in the Daibiru Building, is the tempura restaurant Yotaro Honten. Being in Daibiru, the restaurant exudes a high-class atmosphere with attentive service, making it perfect for a date or a family meal. The interior has a few tables as well as a counter seat where you can watch the tempura being fried, allowing for a unique dining experience. This time, I ordered the tempura set lunch. The tempura was crispy and delicious, with the highlight being the sweet potato tempura which was incredibly flavorful! If you're looking to enjoy high-end tempura in Kansai, be sure to visit this restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

I enjoyed delicious tempura in a calm atmosphere. The course started with shrimp and ended with shrimp, which was a unique sequence. However, I felt that the variety and quantity of tempura were a bit lacking. I ended up adding more tempura besides the course, but it may not have been the best cost performance.

The bento-style lunch was quite delicious. We used it for a lunch meeting. It was great that they served it right after we sat down, as we were in a hurry and had to leave soon after eating. The conversation flowed easily, probably because we were enjoying a tasty meal. The tempura they served was also good quality and easy to eat. The only downside was that the amount of rice in the bento set was a bit small. It would be even better if they offered refills. The atmosphere was friendly and the service was good. It was a comfortable environment to chat during lunch, and the price was quite reasonable for what we got.

I visited a restaurant in Osaka known for its delicious tempura and sea bream rice, which are their two specialties. Although I originally wanted to sit at the counter, this time I had to settle for a table seat, but overall I was extremely satisfied. The sesame tofu served as an appetizer and the vegetable side dishes were delicious. Even these seemingly simple side dishes reflect the high quality and skill of the restaurant. The tempura, fried at a low temperature for a long time, was outstanding, with a thin and crispy coating that encapsulated the freshness and sweetness of the ingredients. The sea bream rice was also amazing. It was cooked in a delicate way that brought out the tenderness of the sea bream, rather than being cooked too firm. The pickled vegetables served with it had a low salt concentration, adding texture and a subtle saltiness. The fact that there was not a single bone in the sea bream rice was also impressive. Additionally, the option to have 7-8 servings cooked for a group of 5 people to take home was a nice touch. The only downside was that I personally prefer the shrimp tempura to be fried at a higher temperature. Overall, it was a satisfying experience enjoying the long-standing history of tempura in Osaka.

The Yotaro main store on the 3rd floor of Daibiru in Nakanoshima was a great choice as there were many other shops with the purpose I had in mind. The restaurant had proper COVID-19 measures in place, which was reassuring. Although other lunch menu options were a bit pricey as they were course meals, I decided to go with this one. And it turned out to be the right decision (probably all options are good anyway). The tempura was a definite winner, crispy and light, delicious with salt or dipping sauce. The dishes served in hexagonal plates were equally delicious, from the fresh salad with tasty dressing to the simmered dish. Everything was just so delicious. The red miso soup was spot on too. This lunch really satisfied my hunger on a fall day.

I made a reservation for a lunch course with company executives and visited the restaurant. The tempura was excellent as expected, and the crab and gorgonzola chawanmushi was exquisite. The Kinzanji miso served with vegetables was also delicious, and the course was meticulously prepared down to the smallest detail. Although it's a bit pricey for a regular lunch, I would like to use it again for celebrations or rewards.
