I ordered an iced tea to cool off after walking in the humid heat, and though it seemed a bit pricey, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion. I enjoyed the refreshing taste of the straight tea.

I got tired from shopping at Hakata Station, so I took a break and had a coffee! It's getting hot, so it's the perfect time for delicious iced coffee (^^)/ I only planned on having coffee, but ended up ordering a cake from the showcase too. I heard a customer had to wait for about 15 minutes when ordering, so I asked for a quick menu option. They said the egg sandwich could be served quickly without toasting, so I chose that. The egg sandwich came in a pack along with the coffee. It was a bit plain in the pack, but I enjoyed it slowly with the coffee.

After 2 pm, the restaurant was about 80% full with tourists carrying large suitcases and many Chinese and Korean visitors. The atmosphere was not very relaxing for enjoying tea or a meal. I ordered the BLT with Cheese Egg lunch set (which comes with salad and a drink) for 1170 yen, along with a hot coffee. The coffee was lukewarm and not tasty. The cheese on the BLT with Cheese Egg sandwich was not melted, which was disappointing. It seemed like there was too much mayonnaise, making the flavor too strong or just plain bad. In terms of cost performance, it was quite mediocre, but the location was in its favor.

I was delighted when my morning plans were canceled, so I happily headed to the station to have breakfast. Unfortunately, there weren't many options available at that early hour. I thought I would just have coffee, but ended up ordering some food as well. I chose a half sandwich, which turned out to be quite thin and cheap-looking despite what the sign outside showed. In Hakata Station, there is a coffee shop called Kamishima Coffee Shop on the Ippin Street. It is said to convey the atmosphere of a traditional coffee shop. I came here because I wanted to have a relaxing break with a cigarette. It's becoming rare to find a place where you can sit and enjoy a smoke in peace. It's winter but it's hot inside. I didn't need a hot drink, so I ordered an iced coffee and an egg sandwich. The egg sandwich was different from the photo, which made me laugh. The photo showed a fluffy and plump sandwich, but what I got was more like a rice cracker that had been used for 5 or 6 years. The staff were efficient and even asked if I preferred a smoking or non-smoking area before showing me to my seat. It's rare to see this level of service nowadays. I recommend this place for those who want to enjoy a cigarette with their coffee. Oh, and the coffee was just as good as you would expect from Kamishima.

I ordered a morning set at the counter and was directed to a smoking section on the right, so I turned back and went to a seat at the back near the entrance. If I had been with my family, we could have sat in the smoking section. After a while, toast and salad arrived. I should have ordered a sandwich because sandwiches are delicious at Ujima Coffee Shop. The bread was soft and the salad was crunchy and tasty. It was convenient to have a quick meal before traveling.

Located in the Ichibun Street inside Hakata Station, there is a Ueshima Coffee Shop with a smoking section in the back, but it is separated so there is no smell. It was a good break for me as I was feeling tired.

This is a cafe where smoking is allowed. They have cakes and you can relax while drinking coffee. There are also power outlets available for charging. It is a partially smoking area, so non-smokers can enter without worry. It's becoming harder to find places where smoking is allowed, so it's nice to have places like this still around.

Long time no post! Today I went to Hakata Station for shopping! It was a bit hot and I got thirsty, so I stopped by a cafe. I ordered an iced cafe au lait and a Mont Blanc. The cafe had partitions at each table for infection prevention. I ordered the iced cafe au lait unsweetened, so it was not too sweet. The Mont Blanc, on the other hand, was quite sweet, maybe a bit too much for me. But the taste was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I visited on a hot summer day with a strong desire to stay ice-cold! The iced coffee for ¥470 here is excellent as it gets colder as time goes by. Even though it's summer, I got goosebumps, but I was able to feel ice-cold both physically and mentally.

At the Chikushi side of Hakata Station, I had a morning set at Kamishima Coffee. It came with toast and a drink. The toast was slightly small but generously buttered. The butter had a gentle milky flavor and the toast was nicely toasted. The set drink was black sugar milk. The sweetness of the black sugar made me feel warm and cozy in the morning.
