I picked pistachio and honey milk flavors. The honey milk flavor was not too sweet like brown sugar, but had a rich taste. I was surprised by the pistachio flavor because it was completely different from the usual pistachio flavor I was expecting! It was like they turned pistachios into a paste - rich, flavorful, and delicious. The gelato was decorated with nuts and had a cute appearance.

I sat at the counter in the eat-in area, which had about 6-7 seats. The slightly brown soft serve had a subtle nutty flavor and a honey-like sweetness, but surprisingly had a refreshing aftertaste. The texture was smooth and delicious. It had a rich taste with sweetness, so I wouldn't have known it was sugar-free if it wasn't mentioned. I visited FAR EAST BAZAAR at Takashimaya Osaka during my break time. - Arabian Gelato (cup) with coconut flower honey instead of sugar for sweetness: 660 yen - Topped with fig, honey milk spelt flakes, and nuts I also bought: - Black Beer Pepper (100g) for take away: 1080 yen The honey milk had a rich sweetness, the figs were chewy and fruity, and the spelt flakes topping was delicious. I wanted to buy the flakes, but they weren't for sale, so I got some spicy nuts instead. They were a perfect snack. It was a great little break, and I enjoyed the gelato. Thank you for the meal.

While wandering around the basement of Osaka Takashimaya, I tried something new for the first time. It seems like they also have it at Nagoya Station's Takashimaya? I didn't know they sold gelato or soft serve ice cream that isn't available in Nagoya. I tried the soft serve with honey, and it was delicious, but I personally prefer the regular flavor. I'm not sure if they source from the Middle East, but this gelato shop has a strong Arabian vibe. They also sell nuts and other items. I tried two flavors of gelato in cups, topped with nuts and flakes. The honey vanilla flavor was delicious. The almond gelato was just okay. I would definitely come back!

This store has an eat-in area, which is convenient for tired shoppers like me. It's perfect for when you just want a little snack and a break, not a heavy meal. The simple off-white appearance is nice too. The soft serve is incredibly sweet, but the fact that it's not made with sugar is surprising. The potential of coconut flower honey is amazing! It even has a hint of caramel-like nuttiness. I definitely want to go back for more.

I didn't know much about the shop "Dried Fruits" in the basement of Takashimaya, except for raisins. They had about 4 or 5 types of raisins alone, including ones from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. I bought 30g for just under 500 yen this time. I bought figs and pineapples this time. It is made with oat milk as a base, with ancient wheat crunch, hemp seeds, white chia seeds, quinoa, and more superfoods. The apple banana flavor makes it smooth and delicious. Sometimes it's good to incorporate something healthy for a nutritional boost. It was really delicious today. The Christmas mood has suddenly intensified with the arrival of November. On the evening of July 9, 2022, I went to a small sushi restaurant in Settsu City with only 6 counter seats to buy souvenirs for my eating friend from Kyoto. The real purpose was to get a bag and shoes for my trip to Ogasawara in a week at "Workman" in Namba City. My eating friend sent me delicious peaches from Wakayama last month, so I had to return the favor. I went to Takashimaya Osaka Store in Namba to buy some snacks for sake at the Far East Bazaar. I chose Arabian Nutty for myself, which is a smoothie made with oat milk, Arabian dates, figs, walnuts, cashews, almonds, and fragrant ginger. It is a vegan smoothie rich in nutrients, with the flavors of various nuts resembling Japanese soybean flour, and it is delicious and easy to drink, although a bit expensive.

Located in the basement of Takashimaya, this natural food store exudes an oriental vibe. They offer a variety of items such as nuts, dried fruits, honey, gelato, and baked goods. It may be hard to tell at first glance what kind of store it is, but the stylish oriental atmosphere is unmistakable. I feel like I could become beautiful just by being here... (I easily drift into dreams). I want to have gelato, of course a double scoop. I'll go for fig and traditional matcha flavors. The gelato here is sweetened only with organic honey, no white sugar is used. They top it off with organic nuts and baked goods, almost like a work of art. I love nuts, so I feel like I'm getting a good deal. It's almost like a parfait. (Double scoop for 550 yen). There is a counter with seating for around 5 people for those who want to eat in. There are also luxurious gelato parfaits available, and I saw two beautiful ladies enjoying them. Next to me, a lady was also enjoying gelato, looking beautiful. I wondered if beautiful people are drawn to this store or if eating here makes you beautiful... pondering this, I savored the adult-like sweetness of the figs and the sophisticated bitterness of the matcha (strong and bitter, so be careful if you don't like bitter flavors). I felt like I was getting my dose of polyphenols and catechins, and thought that maybe I'll become even more beautiful than yesterday as I headed back home. (This is starting to sound like a diary entry!)

You can choose two flavors, one must be Date and the other depends on your mood at the time. The toppings also vary depending on what you choose. Last time, I had Date and Pistachio, and this time I had Date and Uji Matcha. The Date flavor has a sweetness and you can also feel the fruit pulp. The Uji Matcha has a strong bitterness and tastes like rich green tea. I was happy with my choices, and it was delicious. It's a comforting treat to have when you're tired from shopping.

It was a hot day, so I took a little break at Takashimaya. I wanted to eat something like a parfait, so I came here. It was my first visit in a year. I ordered the "Arabia no Rikyu" parfait for 1870 yen including tax. The staff provided explanations about the ingredients. The parfait consisted of matcha pudding, black bean honey stew, apricot compote, matcha cream, date paste, roasted pecans, date gelato, Rikyu gelato, apricot compote (again), black bean honey stew (again), and a matcha monaka (only the shell). A separate date honey was provided to add at your preferred timing. The Rikyu gelato was matcha flavored, not too sweet with a slight bitterness. It was refreshing and delicious. I enjoyed changing the taste by adding the date honey. The apricot was sweet and sour, soft and cooked just right. The date gelato was sweet and rich. The roasted pecans added a nice touch. The black bean honey stew was soft and sticky. The matcha cream was good on its own but felt a bit out of place among the other ingredients. The matcha pudding was a lightly sweet and jiggly matcha jelly. It was a refreshing way to finish. Vegan-friendly and no white sugar used. They also offer gelato in cups or cones, making it a good place for a light break.
