One Sunday. The weather is nice. Today, I came to Taisho on the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line. I had curry at a famous restaurant and then headed to the stylish space Tagboat. There are various shops and it's bustling with young people. After having my meal, I went to a café. I went back to Mondial Café 328 near the entrance. The building has wooden pillars and large glass windows. The tables are set up like a library with partition boards on a large table, and there are long benches and small tables for two by the riverside. At the entrance, there are antique chairs and tables made of logs for single seating. Outside, there are silver 3-seater tables lined up. The back has the kitchen, counter, and a bakery section. The two entrances are spacious and open. It's a well-designed café. I only knew Mondial in Shinsaibashi and Yotsubashi, so I didn't expect to find such a casually stylish store. Now inside the café. First, I looked at the bread selection. Apple pie, three types of croissants, chestnut tart, fruit cake, weekend lemon, four types of muffins, two types of scones, chocolate chip cookies, banana bread, and various types of bread. I chose the glossy and delicious-looking chocolate croissant. I picked up a tray and headed to the counter. There are also cakes in the showcase like gateau chocolat, cheesecake, mont blanc, strawberry shortcake, jelly, etc. It's hard to decide. Now for drinks. Starting with espresso, there are coffee, cappuccino, latte, café mocha, cocoa, and various teas like Darjeeling, English breakfast, Earl Grey, chamomile, Irish Royal milk tea, etc. Single-origin coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, Brazil, etc. There are also juices, colas, smoothies, apple cider, etc. So, I ordered an iced coffee. I chose the tall size. The staff asked if they should warm up the croissant... I said yes, but I'm worried the chocolate might melt. I received a ticket and waited to be called. The two-seater tables by the window are almost full of couples. I didn't have the courage to sit down when there was one empty seat, as an older man with a work laptop sat down. So, I took a seat at the single sofa seat near the entrance. I waited for a while. Now, the iced coffee is here. It's in a tall cup, generously served. It looks light but has a hint of acidity in its outline. The main part, however, seems to have been left somewhere. Well, maybe it's just a light type. Now, the chocolate croissant. It looks like it might melt, but it hasn't. I took a bite. The surface of the croissant is crispy. It's properly baked. The chocolate on the outside looks like kelp sticking to it. And the chocolate hidden inside is slightly gooey. This chocolate has a clear milk flavor. It's creamy and quite flavorful. Thanks to this milky chocolate, the taste of the chocolate croissant as a whole is elevated. I finished it in no time. Lastly, in terms of service, the staff's approach is good in terms of greeting, but that's about it. Their tone sounds somewhat cold and businesslike. Maybe the wandering older man looked creepy. It's time to leave. I walk to the Dome. Thank you for the meal.
