I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. You order through a QR code here. I started with a draft beer and some pan-fried gyoza. If they're good, I'll also get some boiled gyoza! We could only stay in the restaurant for about 90 minutes, but we had a great time eating and drinking for just 7000 yen for two people. It's a great deal and highly recommended. This place is calm and I like it. However, even right after opening at 5 o'clock, there are already many customers. The interior of the store is surprisingly spacious, with a large room in the back. Until 6:30, they have a happy hour where you can get a serving of dumplings for 198 yen. The dumplings are crispy and bite-sized, packed with delicious filling. They are light and you can eat as many as you want. They go well with drinks! This time, I also ordered fried rice, which was outstanding. It was fluffy and not sticky. Fukuoka gyoza is known for being small, thin-skinned, crispy, and crunchy, but the gyoza at this shop had a bit more thickness to them. The soup gyoza had a subtle flavor in the soup and the skin was chewy. The filling was packed tightly compared to the pan-fried gyoza. We also enjoyed draft beer, and the total bill came to 1,127 yen. What a great deal!

I was in Fukuoka. In Fukuoka, there was a shop near Kushida Shrine in the Kamikawabata shopping street in Fukuoka city. I was strolling around the shopping street, buying Kamikawabata zenzai and buying Japanese-style accessories, and then I started to feel hungry. So, I decided to go to this shop. Luckily, it was happy hour, with half-price alcohol and grilled dumplings, so I immediately ordered a draft beer and grilled dumplings with my friend. We toasted with the beer that arrived quickly and then took a closer look at the menu. As I looked at the menu, I realized that I was quite hungry. So, I ordered Shanghai fried noodles and Szechuan mapo tofu, which were marked as spicy and recommended. I also ordered vinegar tripe. First, the vinegar tripe arrived promptly. It was served with plenty of yuzu pepper, and I enjoyed the tripe with lots of green onions, which was really delicious. I already liked vinegar tripe, but this one was especially tasty. The Shanghai fried noodles could have been cooked a bit longer, but the taste was still to my liking. The happy hour promotion made us order alcohol at a faster pace than usual, but the young and friendly waiter was very efficient and responsive, making the experience very pleasant. The mapo tofu, which was labeled as spicy, wasn't as spicy as expected, but my friend, who doesn't like very spicy food, found it quite spicy. However, he still enjoyed the taste and ate a lot despite complaining about the spiciness. We had ordered only two servings of dumplings as I had been eating less lately, but we ended up ordering two more servings as we finished them quickly. The atmosphere was lively and bustling. This was my fourth dumpling spot of the day, so I only ordered a serving of 7 pan-fried dumplings and oolong tea for just under 600 yen. The dumplings were fried to a crispy perfection. The skin was thin and the filling was packed with flavor, although slightly on the sweeter side. The way they were cooked was excellent!

The Nino Nino restaurant is always full, but the Kawabata branch is relatively easier to get into compared to other locations, so I recommend it! When I went after a long time, I was shocked to find that the tomato and coriander salad was no longer on the menu... I tried ordering the boiled dumplings for the first time, and I actually preferred them over the fried dumplings ☺︎

Kawabata store seems to have been open for 5 years already. They offer half-price gyoza for 250 yen, as well as half-price drinks like draft beer, highball, and lemon sour during happy hour. With such great value, you can eat and drink for less than 3,000 yen per person. The food is delicious too, so I keep coming back. The gyoza at the Daimyo store had a flattened shape, but here and at the Solaria Plaza store, the gyoza looks nice. They even opened a store at Solaria Stage, and their popularity is only growing.
