I have been relying on this shop for a long time, and after a few years, I went back. The master and his wife were in good health, and the taste was just as satisfying as before. I usually don't choose a meat platter at other shops, but the platter at Kyouya-san is very cost-effective, so I always order it.

There is a shop under the JR elevated tracks near Nakazakicho Station. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. - Salted tongue: Thickly cut, great texture - Wagyu sirloin - Wagyu upper kalbi: Very tender and deliciously fatty - Upper mino: Perfectly prepared, hidden knife! Perfect ★ It was very delicious. - Cold noodles: A must-have for finishing, perfect noodle texture.

This is a reasonable Korean barbecue restaurant along the JR Loop Line between Nakazakicho and Temma. It was a bit hard to find in the dark alley next to the railway viaduct. It was almost full at 8 pm on the weekend, but we managed to get a table when some customers left. Some menu items were already sold out. The table next to us was talking about a TV shoot, and I recognized some faces from a local Kansai TV show. The prices were very affordable, with draft beer for 360 yen and 1 liter of Makgeolli for 1000 yen. The Samgyupsal for 1200 yen had a nice sesame oil marinade and came with green onions, garlic, and ssamjang, making it a satisfying dish. The cabbage kimchi for 290 yen was lightly grilled and paired well with the Samgyupsal. The Upper Harami for 760 yen was tasty but I wished there was more. The Grilled Intestine, Maru Chou, and Techan for 480 yen each had a good portion size. The Wagyu Kalbi for 800 yen had a generous amount of fat, making it a bit heavy but delicious. We, two adults and one child, ate and drank for about 8000 yen in total.

I went on a bike ride to explore hidden gem restaurants in Nakazakicho today. I visited Kyouya, a restaurant known for being both affordable and delicious. They offer two types of sauces that are both light and tasty. The kimchi is pickled lightly and the bean sprout namul is also light and tasty. The beef tongue is thick and worth trying. The sirloin is tender and worth the 1100 yen price. The liver is tender and sweet, making it delicious. The assorted platter with teppanyaki, akasen, honeycomb tripe, intestine, mino is decent for the price of 980 yen. The wagyu kalbi and harami are average. The jeon is chewy and delicious. For the finale, we had cold noodles, stone pot bibimbap, and finished with wagyu kalbi. We had two draft beers, one ginger ale, and the total bill for two people was 8700 yen including tax. It was a cost-effective and delicious meal.

I was recommended by a neighbor to try this place for the most affordable, voluminous, and delicious yakiniku in the area, so I decided to visit for the first time! When I arrived around 6 pm, I was surprised to find that the restaurant was small with only 3 tables and a counter. It was quite busy with only one table available. The drink menu was great with chu-hai for 300 yen and bottled wine for 1200 yen, and the drinks were served promptly. For starters, I ordered a Namul assortment and a Kimchi assortment, which came in huge plates and were served quickly. I was told the wagyu loin was delicious, so I ordered it along with wagyu kalbi, upper harami, and upper mino. The wagyu loin was rich and flavorful, and I enjoyed it without any sauce. The kalbi, harami, and mino were all delicious too! I even ordered seconds of the loin because it was so good. The stone pot bibimbap comes in regular and half sizes, and I found the regular one a bit lacking in spiciness for my taste. The beef tail soup was highly recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. We ended up overeating with 5 drinks, Namul assortment, Kimchi assortment, 5 servings of meat, and chisha cabbage, totaling over 8000 yen for two people. It was a great value for the amount of food we enjoyed. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious, so I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

The 100th review is a yakiniku restaurant called "Kyouya" that I found while searching for a lesser-known place. When I started writing reviews, I never thought I could reach 100, but the likes have been encouraging and I am grateful for that. The restaurant is located in a back alley near Nakazakicho Station, making it a bit hard to find. I arrived with two young meat lovers at 6:00 pm on a weekday. We ordered cucumber kimchi and bean sprout namul as starters. The cucumber kimchi was delicious and the bean sprout namul was average. We then ordered salted tongue, sirloin, and other cuts of beef, all of which were delicious and had good value for money. The standout was the wagyu loin, which was very tasty and reminded me of a place in Hakata. We also tried the samgyeopsal, which was a fun and satisfying dish. We ended the meal with red offal and tofu stew, which were both flavorful and delicious. The owner and his wife were friendly, and the overall experience was enjoyable. I look forward to visiting again to try the special menu items that are only available at certain times. It was a delicious and affordable meal at a hidden gem of a restaurant. I left feeling happy and satisfied.

I saw the photos and fell in love with Kyouya-san's amazing food, so I visited their restaurant! The meat was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. The sirloin was so tender, it was like heaven! The harami was also really tasty. Every meat dish we ordered was delicious. And the oxtail soup we ordered at the end was also amazing. I want everyone to know how delicious it is, but at the same time, I want to keep this wonderful restaurant a secret. I will definitely visit again!
