Visited the restaurant for brunch with my spouse. We arrived around 10 AM on a weekday. Ordered the Savory Soy Milk Set (1050 yen) and Charcoal Grilled Toast Set (1130 yen). The sets come with plenty of soy milk and a choice of mini side dish. We chose a mini castella and a Taiwanese custard bun. We were informed that we could also enjoy complimentary Milk Tea and Sweetened Soy Milk. We took the Milk Tea to our table and waited for our dishes. After a short wait, our food arrived. We shared the dishes. The Savory Soy Milk Set came with a small bowl of savory soy milk with fried dough sticks and chili oil, as well as a separate crispy fried dough stick to dip in. We mixed it all together and enjoyed the gentle flavors of the ingredients. It reminded us of the taste we had in Taiwan. The Charcoal Grilled Toast Set consisted of thinly sliced pork, lettuce, and cucumber sandwiched between charcoal-grilled bread. The pork was thick and satisfying, and the unique mayonnaise added a Taiwanese touch to the dish. The soy milk, which was steaming hot when it arrived, became perfect for drinking as we ate. We felt satisfied and full after the meal. We also bought a Taiwanese-style Melon Bun (190 yen) from the counter, which was lightly sweet and delicious. It's best to visit this breakfast spot in the morning when there are more bread options available.

A Taiwanese breakfast restaurant in Tenjinbashi-suji 1-chome, Kita-ku, Osaka. It has been featured on TV this year and is quite popular. There was a wait of 7-8 people outside when I visited. I wrote my name on the waiting board and only had to wait for about 5 minutes before being seated at the counter. It is a mobile order system where you scan a QR code with your phone to order and pay with a card. The breakfast set plate includes soy milk porridge, pineapple cake, and iced tea, along with onigiri. The various dishes tasted quite similar, often with pickled mustard greens adding a salty accent. It made me wonder how it would feel if all the dishes in Japanese cuisine had chopped pickled vegetables in them. The iced tea and pineapple cake were quite good.

I visited the restaurant around 1:00 PM for lunch. It was full, but I was seated without having to wait. I ordered a set menu which included soy milk soup, mochi rice onigiri, Taiwanese crepe, and a choice of one drink aside from soy milk. A small pineapple dessert was also included. Soy milk was refillable. The onigiri was crispy and chewy with fried tofu, egg, and pickled mustard greens. The soy milk soup was slightly sour with pickled mustard greens in vinegar. The crepe was made with chewy dough and eggs. It's a Taiwanese breakfast but more like fast food for lunch, so it may take a bit of time. It's a perfect menu for brunch.

It was said that there is a long line, so my friend who loves Taiwan and I went at an off-peak time. It was okay. The restaurant is not very spacious, so when the tables are full, you end up sharing a large table with strangers, which is not ideal for chatting with friends. It's worth a visit for the novelty factor, but considering the cost performance, I might not go out of my way to come here. The free drink that came with the set was delicious.

Had a late breakfast at Wanna Manna, a Taiwanese breakfast specialty shop in Osaka. Enjoyed the Taiwan-style baked pork egg shaopin with added peanut butter. The set comes with a daily drink that is all-you-can-drink, so I mixed iced coffee with soy milk instead of fresh juice. It was delicious! #TaiwaneseBreakfast #Breakfast #WannaManna #Morning #TaiwaneseMorning #Bread #FriedBread #BakedBread #TaiwaneseCuisine #TaiwaneseCafe #Brunch #Osaka #OsakaCafe #Kita-ku #Kita-kuCafe #Minamimorimachi #MinamimorimachiCafe

Arrived at 12:20 on Saturday. There were 9 groups ahead of us. Waited for 40 minutes before being seated. Ordered the Shen Dou Jiang with fried bread and red tea soy milk. The fried bread was delicious. The red tea soy milk was also tasty! They also had unlimited Jin Xuan Oolong tea. It's a shame that the Shen Dou Jiang didn't have cilantro. The restaurant was very cute.

GW first day. I went out for lunch and ended up at this popular Taiwanese breakfast spot. When I arrived after finishing shopping around 11 o'clock, there were more than 10 groups ahead of me in line. I had heard it was popular, but I didn't know it was this popular. After waiting for 40-50 minutes, I finally got inside. It seems the place has few seats and slow turnover, which causes the long lines. The system is fast food style. This time, I ordered savory soy milk (with fried bread) and Taiwanese crepe called danbing (with duck meat and eggs). The food was brought to me shortly after I sat down. The savory soy milk was similar to what I have made at home before. The fried bread that came with it was quite filling, and this set was enough to satisfy my hunger. I could understand why Taiwanese people go for a hearty meal from the morning after experiencing this during GW afternoon.

I visited the "Taiwanese breakfast wanna manna" restaurant in Minami-Senju, which is known for its concept of Taiwanese breakfast. It is very popular, especially after being featured on TV. There is also a second branch in Iidabashi Sakura Terrace in Chiyoda, Tokyo. I ordered the "You Tiao Dan Jian Bing Set" (980 yen), which comes with a drink and one side dish. For the drink, I chose soy milk "Dou Jiang" in warm and cold options, with or without sugar. For the side dish, I chose the "one-bite pan-fried dumplings." When you order a set menu, you get unlimited refills of the daily drink. I tried the "Guozaowei Hongcha," which is a sweet black tea, and the "Original Dou Jiang," which was unsweetened and delicious. The Dou Jiang I ordered was sweetened, so I mixed it with a little sugar to enjoy it. The one-bite pan-fried dumplings were served with a Taiwanese sweet soy sauce called "Yin You Gao," which added a delicious flavor. The "You Tiao Dan Jian Bing" is a Taiwanese-style crispy sandwich with You Tiao (fried dough sticks), omelette, and lettuce inside. It was really tasty. I would love to try other Taiwanese dishes like rice balls, crepes, toast, meat pies, and scallion pies in the future.

I discovered this restaurant on YouTube! I returned from Taiwan about 2 weeks ago, but I couldn't forget the taste from that time, so I decided to visit. Everything tasted the same as in Taiwan except for the pepper bun. It was dry and lacked meat juice. I had the freshly baked, hot bun from the oven in Taiwan, so the difference was too much and it made me sad.

I think the breakfast set I got in Taiwan was called Danpin. The texture of the dough was chewy and delicious. The juiciness of the bacon was incredibly tasty. When it comes to Taiwanese breakfast drinks, is it really freshly squeezed soy milk? It must be, because it's so rich and delicious. Freshly squeezed soy milk is really good because it's unsweetened and seems good for the body, but I still prefer regular milk.

A Taiwanese cafe open from 8am, perfect for when you're craving Taiwanese cuisine. They offer authentic Taiwanese breakfast options, and you can choose between sweetened and unsweetened soy milk. Located in Minami-Senju, you can truly experience the taste of Taiwan here. Enjoy! 🍵

It was just after 9:30, the restaurant was slightly crowded but there were still seats available with no wait. The warm soy milk was delicious! However, the pepper cake was not that great due to the way it was made. If you haven't tried it in Taiwan, it might still be considered delicious. At around 10 o'clock, Osaka Tenmangu Shrine was a bit busier than usual, but not overly crowded. There were no cosplayers dressed as Fire Emblem characters. The set menu was full of options and a good deal, including salty soy milk with fried dough sticks, freshly squeezed soy milk, pan-fried dumplings, a daily drink, and unlimited refills of either cold jin xuan oolong tea or warm unsweetened soy milk. The scallion pancake with corn and cheese was also on the menu, along with the pepper cake.

A cafe where you can enjoy Taiwanese breakfast all day. It's kind of semi-self-service. "Salted Soy Milk" for 480 yen is like a slightly sour soy milk soup. The pickled vegetables and fried bread add a nice touch. You can also help yourself to tea and relax on the sofa seats. It would be nice to see more of these kinds of shops in Nagoya.

I really liked the exterior as well as the interior of this restaurant, which has a unique foreign atmosphere. I visited for lunch without knowing that this place specializes in breakfast, but the portion was satisfying and the dishes seemed to be good for the body.

We came here for breakfast and it seems to be a popular spot. We had a set meal called "Xian Dou Niu" which came with freshly squeezed soy milk, a mini danbing, and a drink of the day. Xian Dou Niu is soy milk with pickled vegetables and fried breadsticks floating in it. It also came with extra fried breadsticks to dip in the soy milk, which was delicious! The danbing was like a crepe with egg and meat sandwiched inside, also very tasty. The bread itself was delicious too. We also ordered additional fried breadsticks with condensed milk on top. Yum!

This place is like Taiwan. I want to visit this shop. I feel very satisfied with the hot salty soy milk, freshly squeezed soy milk, and Taiwanese crepe set. Until the day I can travel to Taiwan, I will relax here. There are many other menu items, so I want to try something different too.

I visited a specialty shop in Taiwan that serves breakfast menu items (which can be eaten all day) but had never been able to go because the timing never seemed to work out when I was in the mood for it. This time, I went to buy Taiwan castella at a newly opened Taiwanese confectionery shop across the street, but they were sold out. As a backup, I decided to visit this place. However, I heard that this place is related to Taiwan Sweet Shop, and I was a bit hesitant. The castella from Taiwan Sweet Shop that I had tried before was a bit dry and not what I consider Taiwanese castella. It seemed like it might be the same castella, just packaged differently. So, even though there is a Taiwan Sweet Shop near my house where I can still eat their castella, I probably won't buy it from wanna manna again. That being said, the castella from the shop across the street was also different from what I expected. Apart from castella, I would like to visit wanna manna again to try their other menu items like egg crepes. The interior of the shop was compact and a bit messy, giving off a fast-food vibe, but the staff's service was pleasant, and that also affects the overall impression of the restaurant.

Located at the end of a shopping street and open for about a year, I finally visited this place for a late lunch. When you hear about Taiwanese breakfast, it may not immediately come to mind, right? However, you can sense the Taiwanese vibes from the atmosphere of the store. I was a bit indecisive about the menu, but when in doubt, I always go for the first item listed on the top right of the page, so I ordered the Taiwanese-style soy milk soup with fried bread sticks. It cost 600 yen. You mix the soup well and dip the fried bread sticks in it to eat. The taste is gentle and not too strong, allowing the flavors of pickled mustard greens, vinegar, and chili oil to stand out. I imagined it to be somewhat healthy, but with the fried bread sticks, maybe not so much. Overall, it was a pleasant meal!

Continuing in Kansai. I had Shengjian in Taiwan twice and it was incredibly delicious, a taste that I couldn't forget. I decided to visit this restaurant during breakfast hours. Despite it being a weekend, it was already full at 8 o'clock! It seems to be a popular place. I was originally thinking of ordering individual items, but since I was there, I decided to go for the most popular set. It included Shengjian (with cut fried buns inside), fried buns, custard buns (you could also choose castella or other options), and for some reason, it came with two drinks. Oolong tea and soy milk. The Shengjian was, well, delicious. It somehow had a different impression compared to what I had in Taiwan... maybe the taste varies depending on the restaurant. The fried buns were quite heavy and dense. I remember them being lighter and easier to eat for breakfast in Taiwan. I couldn't finish it this time, sorry. This set seems more suitable for those who have a hearty appetite for breakfast. The soy milk came in a generous 350ml portion, with options for cold or warm, sweetened or unsweetened. However, unless you really enjoy soy milk and can easily drink it, it might be hard to finish it. The soy milk had a typical beany taste.

It was lunchtime, so I waited about 15 minutes after writing my name before entering. I took a seat and went to the counter to place my order myself. I ordered the most popular set, which was soy milk soup with fried bread. The set came with soy milk, so I chose cold sugar-added soy milk. In addition, there was a daily drink bar where you could drink as much as you wanted. Today's drink was lightly sweetened black tea. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous! The soy milk was easy to drink and I could gulp it down. It seems like it's good for the body to have this much soy milk! I really liked it. I want to visit again.
