KANIYAN
Gyoza Kobo Ni Hao, located in Uomachi, Kokurakita-ku, Kitakyushu City. It is a sister store of the restaurant in Tamachi. They used to be located in a back alley of Tankagai. For lunch, they offer a variety of set meals such as mapo tofu, spicy stir-fried chicken, leek and liver stir-fry, shrimp chili, sweet and sour pork, shredded pork with green peppers, twice-cooked pork, gyoza, pork and garlic sprout stir-fry, stir-fried vermicelli, and mapo bean thread noodles. This time, I ordered the mapo bean thread noodles set meal for 780 yen. The set meal includes the main dish, side dish, salad, pickles, rice, and soup. The main dish was mapo bean thread noodles, which had ground chicken, bean sprouts, and green onions mixed with bean thread noodles. It had a slight spiciness and occasional sourness, which was just right. The side dish was one piece of crispy fried chicken with a light soy sauce flavor. The salad had a unique dressing made with shiso leaves, and it included cabbage, radish, red cabbage, and mizuna. The pickles and rice included zasai, and the rice was slightly firm. The soup was a rich Chinese-style egg soup. Overall, they offer a wide range of traditional Chinese dishes as well as unique options. It was a delicious meal.
