I used it for a girls' night out! I had been there before and left unsatisfied, but due to reservations, I had to come back again. The appetizer was as others have mentioned, extremely small sesame tofu and a tiny umeshu crystal like an ear pick (maybe an exaggeration?). Next was a tasteless mountain of salad! I forgot to put dressing on it. Oh well. Then came the hard meat sushi. The vinegar rice was too sour, it was tough to eat! The soggy and fishy sesame mackerel. The smell was too strong, I had to hold my nose to swallow it, I wonder if I'll be okay tomorrow? The fried tongue burger... they just fried a meatball and piled it on... the presentation was terrible. The vegetable rolls were lettuce wraps and asparagus wraps. This was the only thing that tasted good! (just average) The last dish was meat and rice! I had looked at pictures from other people and the restaurant to prepare, but... really? I was so surprised that I forgot to take a picture! I tried drawing it and posted it, but I wonder if it's okay? I drew it faithfully! It was served on a round plate with a mound of brown rice, topped with thin slices of meat. It was amazing... maybe it would have been better in a pot...? And we were a group of 5 people... when we mentioned that, the waiter said, "I put 5 pieces of meat for each person!" So, in front of the waiter, we counted, "one, two, three..." and of course, there were only 4 pieces! It was the best (*´◒`*) They never fail to meet expectations! Then suddenly the waiter said, "Today, we decided by gram." A flexible response from the staff! We argued over the thin meat slices. Even though we are all adults. In the end, a small snow daifuku on a small plate was thrown out like a dart. It's over w We drank a lot of extremely weak highball during the all-you-can-drink, so it was great! We were kicked out right on time! Goodbye! There are still many delicious restaurants in Chikushi-guchi, probably because of its good location! They will continue to thrive through indulgence! Everything was delicious! I tried the meat sushi (tongue, skirt), the legendary kalbi, grilled beef tongue, lemon sour ramen, and they were all tasty! Highly recommended! I plan to come back again! The legendary kalbi had a melt-in-your-mouth texture that enveloped me in happiness. The grilled beef tongue was not too tough or too soft, just the perfect tenderness and texture, very delicious! The grilled chicken skin was personally my favorite crispy type of skin!

"Hakata Mon" in Hakata, just a 1-minute walk from Hakata Station, is an izakaya where you can enjoy Kyushu specialties. Highly recommended are the meat sushi, vegetable-wrapped skewers, and raamen. The black sushi with self-grilled meat topping is exquisite, and you can enjoy Kumamoto horse sashimi and sesame mackerel in a completely private room without worrying about the surroundings. I visited this place during a business trip to Hakata in March 2023 for a second round of drinks. I was a bit drunk, so my memory is fuzzy, but the seared sushi was delicious and made me want more. The prices are reasonable. If you order a lot while drunk, you might regret it later!笑

I visited the famous Hakata Mon! for a farewell party for my boss. We opted for the 4,000 yen per person meat sushi feast course, which included three types of meat sushi, vegetable skewers, sesame mackerel, motsunabe, and more. It was a hearty course more suited for young people, but us, in our 60s, 40s, and 30s, found it quite heavy! However, the food, especially the meat sushi, was delicious and the cost performance was excellent, so I would like to visit again. We were actually supposed to go on a date to this restaurant, but it ended up being a miss. Thank you for the meal!笑

I wanted to try the fruit sour, Tamburian, and beef tongue lava grill that were sold out just before the last order (´•ω•̥`). Even though we ordered too much for two people and couldn't finish it all, everything was delicious. I want to go again. It was fun! The private room and the staff were great in a nice atmosphere!

I visited a company gathering at this restaurant. We ordered a course with all-you-can-drink option, and paid an extra 500 yen to be able to drink draft beer, but the beer was lukewarm... If I had known, I would have just stuck with highballs. The course menu was okay, so it was disappointing...

I really wanted to eat the Negi-tan shabu-shabu! However, it's a shame that Negi-tan can only be eaten in a course meal. By the time the Negi-tan arrived, I was already full and the meat sushi was tough, making it difficult to chew. The Hōmi-tan was also disappointing. It didn't taste good, it was just for the looks. But this Negi-tan is incredibly delicious! What's the difference in taste? It would be great if they could serve it as a single item.

I was led to a seat that was only separated by a bamboo blind, despite the restaurant advertising completely private rooms. I asked to be seated with at least one seat in between due to the presence of another customer, but my request was denied. The staff were plentiful but did not come to clear away the finished dishes even when I pushed them to the edge of the table. When I ordered a drink, the staff member who brought it had a cheerful attitude and was friendly. The appetizer was just a small snack for 400 yen. The sesame mackerel was raw and had a strong smell, and the meat sushi looked overly edited in color for Instagram. The taste was just average. I only ordered a few items as I was just trying out the restaurant, and I left after the minimum. Personally, I would not return.

There is a wide range of menu items from the classic izakaya menu, including their specialty yakitori and vegetable rolls. We were seated in a semi-private area, with plenty of space for two people at a table meant for four. We ordered edamame, stingray fin, sesame amberjack, smashed cucumber, and other typical izakaya dishes, followed by a mixed plate of yakitori and all the vegetable rolls. Among our orders, I personally enjoyed the vegetable rolls the most, especially the cabbage and leek rolls for their texture and overall flavor. However, the disappointing part was the horse sashimi, as the lean meat was tough and difficult to eat. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience, but the horse sashimi was a letdown.

Opened in August, this izakaya called "Chikushi Guchi Niku Sushi and Makikushi" is my go-to spot. The meat sushi is a steal at ¥280 per piece (excluding tax)! They offer luxurious options like beef tongue, horse meat, sea urchin, and salmon roe sushi. They also have nearly 10 varieties of vegetable rolls, providing both color and nutrition. It might be a little light on salt, but overall, the food was delicious. The shrimp was incredibly fresh. For dessert, I tried the foie gras kamameshi with a salmon roe topping for an extra ¥500. It was so rich and decadent! If you're looking for a lively place to drink around Hakata Station, this place is a great choice! Thank you for the meal.

It was terrible! The gyoza with wings came out lukewarm and it was the worst. When I asked the staff, they said that was normal. Huh?

I often use this place when drinking in Hakata! Because the meat sushi and lettuce rolls are incredibly delicious! The prices are a bit high, but it's still delicious and the private rooms make it perfect for drinking!

The menu is extensive and the restaurant is conveniently located near the station. Everything I have tried there is reasonably delicious. It's a recommended place to visit.

I was drawn to the beef tongue on Instagram and decided to go, but the rest of the menu was not great. I do not recommend going there for sightseeing.

I used the 5000 yen course at a girls' party. We were able to eat and drink leisurely without worrying about the surroundings because it was a private room. The meat sushi was delicious.
