I visited the restaurant after 11 o'clock. There are 5 counter seats and 3 tables. It seems like you can also enjoy some drinks at night. They offer two types of curry: spicy King and sweet Queen. Toppings include pork cutlet and egg. You can get a free extra serving of rice, and the menu is simple. There is also an option to get extra cabbage pickles. I chose the sweet Queen curry with extra rice and pork cutlet. I paid at the ticket machine. It takes about 8 minutes to fry the pork cutlet from scratch. If you order without the cutlet, it will be served right away. The curry is average, nothing special. The cabbage pickles served at the beginning do a good job. The pork cutlet is decent, it seems like something you would order if you like it. It has a taste that doesn't stand out, so you can eat comfortably at this restaurant.

I often pass by the Temma area and knew about the existence of the shop, but I was not particularly drawn to it until I visited for the first time this time. The ai-gake curry is European-style, and to be clear, it is tastier than the famous European-style curry chain restaurants in Osaka. And the egg yolk goes incredibly well with it.

Date and time of visit: 05/30/2023 14:10 I stopped by "Osaka Tenjinbashi Curry" on my way back from a regular errand in Higashi-Osaka. The restaurant is located a 3-minute walk north of JR Temma Station, on the west side of the outer ring of Tenjinbashi-Suji Shopping Street. I ordered the "King & Queen Curry". While the Queen curry might be more popular with everyone, I personally preferred the King curry. Food & Taste: 3.3 The "King & Queen Curry" consists of two types of curry. Both are Western-style curries with chunks of meat in each roux. The King curry is the brighter one on the left in the photo. It has a medium spiciness that gradually builds up heat in your mouth, eventually making your forehead sweaty. The meat was tender and delicious. The Queen curry has a rich flavor and is less spicy than the King. The beef cubes are firm with a strong meaty texture. Service: 3.5 The restaurant is run by a female owner who provides polite and friendly service during lunch hours. Although you order from a ticket machine, she answered my question about the rice portion size with care (regular serving is 250 grams, large serving is 300 grams). She kindly offered me a table seat to relax and enjoy my meal. It was a nice touch as it was towards the end of the lunchtime. The service was consistent with the next customer. During lunch hours, you get a free upgrade to a large rice serving. Atmosphere: 3.3 I had imagined a more eclectic atmosphere in Temma, but the restaurant was actually a clean and stylish bar-like setting with white sofas. The background music was soft piano tunes. There were no customers when I arrived, and only one customer came in later. Cost Performance: 3.1 The "King & Queen Curry" costs 880 yen. It is reasonably priced for lunch, but having more ingredients would make it even better. Drink: - Information on drinks is not available. If I were to visit again, I would like to try topping the King curry with tonkatsu.

I was planning to order the King Curry (900 yen) known for its spiciness and the Queen Curry (900 yen) with a hotel curry image, but then I saw they had a Chicken Spice Curry (1200 yen), so I decided to get the King Curry and Chicken Spice Curry combo (1080 yen). The Chicken Spice Curry takes a bit longer to prepare, so there was a short wait for the dishes to arrive. The combo had 70% King Curry and 30% Spice Curry. The King Curry was a classic Western style curry, but... it was much spicier than I expected! It was twice as spicy as I thought, to the point where it would be unbearable for those who don't like spicy food. My mouth and throat were burning! However, the spiciness added a unique touch to the dish, so it was actually quite good! I thought the pickles on the side would be too sweet, but they surprisingly paired well with the King Curry. As for the Spice Curry, it turned out to be spicier than I anticipated, but it didn't quite reach the level of its price. If it's the same price as the King Curry, then it's okay. I recommend eating them separately rather than mixing them together.

Curry restaurant along Tenjinbashi-suji. Clean and stylish interior. Lunch menu includes King Curry, which is sweet and spicy, and Queen Curry, which is rich like hotel curry. Also available is Chicken Spice Curry with chicken and aromatic vegetables. Choose between King and Queen at the ticket machine by the entrance. The King Curry on the left side is fruity at first bite, followed by a decent level of spiciness. The Queen Curry on the right side is as advertised, a rich beef curry with mild spiciness. The balance of sweetness, spiciness, and umami is great. Toppings like pork cutlet and egg are also available. In the evening, you can enjoy Italian small plates and drinks as well.

I visited "Osaka Tenjinbashi Curry" located in Tenjinbashi 5-chome, Kita-ku, Osaka. I decided to try the visually appealing "King & Queen Curry (mixed)" (880 yen). According to the description, the brownish curry on the left, "King Curry," is a spicy and punchy curry with a distinctive flavor. The dark brown curry on the right, "Queen Curry," focuses on richness and depth of flavor. It's a delight to be able to taste both at the same time. There is a side of cabbage pickles for a refreshing break. First, I tried the "King Curry" on the left. Wow, it's spicy and delicious! It reminds me of the famous "Indian Curry" known for its color, chunks of meat, and delayed spiciness. I really like it. Moving on to the "Queen Curry" on the right, it has a mild and rich European-style flavor. It's delicious! The purple storefront sign claims it as the ultimate curry developed by 200 chefs specializing in Japanese, Western, Chinese, French, and Italian cuisines. Despite being labeled as Western, they also included French and Italian influences. As a suggestion, how about a super spicy "Jack Curry" instead of the spicy "King Curry"? It could be likened to the three face cards in a deck of cards, with a sharp and intense spiciness like a jackknife. It's perfect for those craving a sharper kick. I go to this restaurant once a week. I am a regular customer!! They update new product information on their Instagram, and there is a special campaign for the new menu starting from April 18th, so I decided to have lunch there! I had a dish called Stamina Ton, which consists of pork, garlic, onions, and a soft-boiled egg. It was a hearty and flavorful dish, and the onions were crunchy and delicious. They said it took six months to develop this dish! It was really tasty and it only cost 490 yen during the campaign. I was pleasantly surprised by the price! Although this dish was delicious, I still love their King Curry. I feel like having it again tomorrow!

A few minutes' walk from Temma Station. Today I had lunch here. First, I bought a meal ticket at the ticket machine right after entering and found a suitable seat. The main menu is curry, and you can add toppings to it as you like. I chose to top my curry with three-piece pork cutlet at Tenjinbashi Curry Queen. Let's dig in! The curry has a rich flavor with a good amount of spiciness, a classic European-style curry. It's the kind that you just can't stop eating. The cutlet is fried to perfection and of a decent thickness. For an extra 150 yen, it's definitely worth adding for a more satisfying meal, especially for men. All in all, it was a delicious meal! I wish the curry portion was a bit larger considering the amount of rice. Also, the dividers between seats are not completely transparent, so even at the counter seats, you don't feel too exposed to neighboring diners. This makes it a comfortable place for solo female diners as well.

Hello. It's me. Today, starting from the quote "The most unfortunate thing for humans is something that used to be happy," the King & Queen 980 yen curry is incredibly rich and spicy. It's properly spicy and I'm weak against spiciness, so it tingles. I haven't trained enough. The Queen curry has a sweetness, and I felt a good sweetness like fruit or vegetables. This taste is suitable for me. When I divided this by 2 after adding it together, it was just right, but the spiciness was added. So I enjoyed it until the end, sweating from the spiciness. Please watch over me as I continue my training. It was delicious. Next time, I'll try it with an egg topping. Thank you for the meal.

The classification of Osaka curry is not well known, but it definitely exists. It is an orthodox European-style curry that starts off sweet. Just when you think it's sweet, you start to sweat and your mouth becomes spicy. This restaurant is truly Osaka curry, enhanced with its unique taste.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. I purchased the King & Queen curry and Three-Piece Pork Cutlet from the ticket machine for 1030 yen. The King curry was described as starting sweet and turning spicy, which I, as a Kansai native, enjoyed. The Queen curry was described as elegant and flavorful, with a good balance of spiciness. I decided to try both. The dishes arrived shortly after. Both curries were relatively mild in spiciness. They contained large chunks of beef. I felt that there was slightly less curry sauce, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

In the vicinity of Tengonishi, you can see various shops with the name "Tengenbashi" (not only restaurants, but also doctors, etc.). This place is one of them (opened in July 2020). There are King and Queen options, but I ordered the Emperor. I thought it would be extremely spicy because of the name "Emperor," but it wasn't that spicy, and it was delicious with just the right amount of heat. If you could click on the popular blog ranking ←←←, I would be happy.

This curry restaurant, which opened last July, is located in Tenjinbashi as the name suggests, but it faces the street rather than being in a shopping district. The exterior is mainly yellow and has a small, cozy feel. Inside, there is a touch panel ticket machine, and the bright interior with white walls and light brown accents has a counter and three tables for two. There is only one staff member, and the menu includes Queen and King curries, as well as Emperor (which is quite spicy) and Three-Element Pork Cutlet Curry. They also offer pasta in addition to rice. I ordered the King & Queen, which comes with an egg on top. The curry arrived promptly, with a two-tone color curry reminiscent of Indian curry, with a yellow egg yolk on top, making for an eye-catching presentation. The Queen, with its deep and flavorful roux with a hint of black sugar, and the King, with its addictive spicy and punchy roux, were both delicious. Each curry had a piece of beef belly on top, which was tender, fatty, and tasty. Finally, mixing everything together, including the egg, created a fuller and spicier flavor, with the spiciness intensifying towards the end. While spice curries are popular nowadays, this Indian-style European curry was also very enjoyable. Overall, it was quite delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited on a Sunday afternoon. There were no other customers. King Curry ¥780, Queen Curry ¥780, Emperor Curry ¥830, King & Queen Curry ¥880, King Curry Pasta ¥750. I ordered the Emperor Curry. It started off with a moderate level of spiciness, not as sweet and spicy as Osaka's Indian curry. Personally, I was expecting more sweetness, so next time I might go for the King & Queen. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the rumored restaurant that opened in July. They offer two types of curry roux, King and Queen, and you can also choose pasta. Today, I had the new menu item, Katsu Curry. I chose the Queen roux. The katsu was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the roux was made with a lot of care, giving it a rich and deep flavor. I instantly got hooked. It has a sweetness at first, followed by a spicy kick that becomes addictive. It was very delicious and satisfying. I look forward to trying the King Curry roux next time. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like having curry again, so I went to a delicious curry restaurant near my office. They had more varieties of King and Queen curry than last time. This time, I wanted to try the Queen curry, so I ordered a combination curry. It was still incredibly delicious. The King curry was sweet and spicy, while the Queen curry had a rich flavor. Both were so good! Next time, I might try their pasta. (。・ω・。)

In a rather deep area near Temma Station in Osaka Kita, there is a small curry restaurant that seems to have opened recently. Despite its appearance, it serves sophisticated European-style curry. The curry comes with only an egg topping and the pickles as a side dish are well done. I trusted my intuition that such a place must be delicious and tried the King Curry. It was my favorite type of curry with alternating sweetness and spiciness. I'm not sure if everyone will like it, but why not give it a try?

I visited Tenjinbashi Curry in Osaka, which is located in Kita-ku near JR Temma Station. It seems to be a new restaurant that opened on July 1st this year. I ordered the King & Queen Curry (mixed) with extra curry, topped with an egg. This was my second visit, and this time I decided to try both the King and Queen curries together for comparison. The King Curry has a spicy and punchy flavor that I really enjoy, while the Queen Curry focuses more on richness with a deep flavor from beef broth and fruit sweetness. The curries were both delicious and moderately spicy, with the King being slightly spicier and the Queen being more mild. I found it interesting to taste the differences between the two curries by having them mixed together. The next time I visit, I want to try either the King Curry Pasta or the King Curry with extra beef. The restaurant has a cozy and stylish atmosphere, and the curry was flavorful and satisfying.

Today, I came here to a curry restaurant that recently opened in a highly competitive food area. I arrived at 1:30 pm and found a bright and refreshing interior with effective air conditioning. The layout includes a kitchen on the left, a high counter with 6 seats in front, and 3 two-person table seats on the right. The place is run by two men. The menu consists of "King" and "Queen" curry & pasta options, with the only difference being toppings like raw eggs. The owner's commitment is evident in the absence of any fried toppings, as indicated in the description. It seems that the spiciness level cannot be adjusted. I ordered the "King Curry" using the touch panel ticket machine at the entrance. The dish arrived promptly once I sat down. The curry started off mild but gradually revealed a spicy European-style kick as I ate more. The ingredients included tender, fibrous beef sitting atop the curry, blending well with the flavorful sauce. The cabbage pickles were good, but I personally prefer Fukujinzuke. I finished the meal relatively quickly, with the rice portion seeming to be around 250g. While I appreciate the straightforward approach of serving just two plain sausages, as a fan of katsu curry, I felt it was a bit lacking in substance. The attentive service was appreciated. Overall, a unique perspective on the experience. Wheelchair accessibility: moderate. Washlet available in the back. No parking available.

2020.8 Tenjinbashi King Curry, 780 yen. There were partitions for COVID-19 measures on the counter seats and tables. The cabbage pickles had a slight acidity and were not the typical type. The curry had a sweetness followed by spiciness, slightly spicy. There was about one and a half pieces of beef on top. It was similar to the traditional Indian curry. No toppings, pickles, sweet and spicy, one piece of beef on top, curry spaghetti. The pricing is also reasonable. The owner's comment mentioned enjoying the harmony of curry and rice, but personally, I felt that there was not enough curry compared to the rice. The taste of the curry was average. If you are not good with spiciness and prefer more rice, the balance might not be right for you. Adding a large portion of curry for 150 yen would make a regular curry without toppings cost 930 yen. They mentioned that a new "Aigake Curry" is coming soon on the signboard, which piqued my interest, but they might need other new selling points. Update: Recently, it seems like they have added more toppings, so I will consider revisiting when I crave curry.
