Sometimes I crave a lot of sweet treats, so I decided to visit this café in Umeda. I had been eyeing it for a while, but I didn't realize the all-you-can-eat tart was so expensive. Well, I guess with various price increases happening, it's affecting restaurants too. I had pancakes and tea. The pancakes at the café were beautifully presented, and the intricate sauce was something I couldn't replicate at home. That's the charm of café pancakes, right? It was a bit pricey, but delicious. It was nice to have a quiet time as there were not many people on a weekday afternoon. It could be a good spot for a first date.

Strawberry tart for 990 yen plus 500 yen for a drink of your choice! I chose an iced cafe latte. Total 1,490 yen! It's not cheap, but the tart was quite delicious (*´﹃｀*). They also have pasta and other options for lunch. And if you pay around 5,000 yen, you can have all-you-can-eat tart, haha. Thank you for the meal!

Around 2 o'clock on 5/3, we managed to secure a seat at the restaurant. We ordered a Mother's Day seasonal limited edition Raspberry Chocolate Tart cake set with Mango juice. The cake was fluffy with delicious raspberry flavor. The Mango juice could have been a bit more rich, but overall it was a satisfying meal.

Seasonal limited edition white chocolate and berry tart, along with an iced cafe au lait. The white chocolate flavor was quite weak, lacking a strong chocolate taste. The jelly-like substance on top didn't look very appealing visually, some people even left it uneaten. I chose this for the cream, which was light, not too sweet, and not heavy at all - I finished it all in one go. The tart crust was quite hard and I struggled a bit to eat it. It was around 3 pm on a Sunday but luckily I was able to get in easily.

I used the all-you-can-eat option. The price of one tart is around 800-900 yen, and the all-you-can-eat option is 3300 yen, so I think if you eat at least 4 tarts, you'll get your money's worth. I went to a different place for all-you-can-eat cake before, but I couldn't get my money's worth. However, this place had fruits on top, so the tarts felt lighter compared to cakes, and I was able to eat 5 tarts. Eating 5 tarts made me really full, but I think I definitely got my money's worth. The taste was very delicious, and we could eat the same tarts that are normally sold individually. You have to tell the staff which tart you want from the showcase, and I thought it would be nice to have a bell or something to call them over. The place wasn't too crowded, but the atmosphere was just okay. I saw a review on Google Maps saying that the variety of products is poor, and looking at the website, there were many tarts that were not available at the store when I went (such as caramel banana tart, walnut tart, chocolate banana tart, lemon tart), but there were plenty of fruit tarts that I wanted to try, so it didn't bother me.

There is also an all-you-can-eat menu, but I opted for a Mont Blanc tart and a cheese tart to share with my partner. It was just right, about 1.5 servings each. If you go for the all-you-can-eat option, it's better to choose fruit-based cakes over whipped cream to be able to eat more. The Mont Blanc tart had three large chestnuts on top, which felt luxurious. The cheese tart had a rich cheese flavor and was consistently delicious. The Links Umeda store is relatively quiet and a hidden gem spot!

It's a bit pricey but the food is really good! The interior was crowded so I had the Muscat Tart on the outdoor terrace. Enjoying the Muscat Tart while watching people pass by in Shin-Osaka is delicious. There are no bells, so it's hard to call the staff when sitting on the terrace!

A cafe on the first floor of Links Umeda. They offer a cake buffet for 3000 yen, but this time we had already eaten so we ordered a drink and tart set for about 1500 yen. It was decently tasty but... expensive!! It's as pricey as Qu'il Fait Bon. No brand value, and I couldn't help but think this price is a bit too much. Is this the Umeda price, I wonder.

After the price increase, I decided to visit the Tart Buffet for the first time on a Sunday at 3:30 PM. There was a bit of a wait, but we were seated as the second group. Even without a reservation, it was possible to have all-you-can-eat tarts. I had already eaten unlimited bread for lunch, so I only had 6 tarts and a fruit jelly tart, which felt heavy. The fruit jelly was not as delicious as I had hoped, as it was as firm as konjac and lacked sweetness. I felt bad, but I only ate the fruit. Thank you for the meal. P.S. Tart all-you-can-eat~♪ I usually used to go to Daimaru Shinsaibashi store for tart all-you-can-eat, but this time I visited this place that offers a self-select buffet where you can pick your own tarts. The previous place had a wagon service which was slow and stressful, so I decided to try this new place. It had been a while since I last visited a Delice tart all-you-can-eat, probably around 3-4 years since the price went up to 1,980 yen. I got a sudden urge to go without making a reservation, and luckily they had availability when I called on the same day. The system had changed from reservation-only to first-come, first-served based on cake availability. I visited around 2:30 pm and was explained the buffet system. It was 2,800 yen for adults with free drinks, and you could have up to 3 cakes per round. The cakes available were 11 types, and you could request cakes from the showcase if they were not on the buffet table. I ended up eating 11 tarts (equivalent to 1 whole tart) and even a slice of shortcake. The self-select buffet allowed me to eat at my own pace without stress, so I preferred this store. The service was good with quick plate clearing, and I left satisfied after an hour. This time, there were mostly regular menu items, so if I visit again, I hope to try it when they have seasonal or limited-time offerings. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on a holiday night. They also have a tart buffet, but this time I ordered from the regular menu. ★ Fig Tart Plenty of figs! It looked like there was 1.5-2 times more compared to the buffet portion. The cream is the familiar thick custard. It would be perfect if the cream was different... (I prefer cheese cream). ★ Caramel Latte Tart The jelly-like caramel latte mousse is prominent. Isn't it caramel latte cream? A bit shocking. The other desserts are apple compote, unlike the ones in Delice. The store is relatively spacious in an L-shape, and I mistakenly thought it was counter service, but it's actually table service. Delice in Osaka seems to be growing in popularity, and the location seems convenient. I always feel like Delice needs a little more creativity in their "thick custard + fruit" composition. Additional note: They have also opened in Daimaru Tokyo and started a buffet. They are expanding rapidly!

Next to Yodobashi Camera in Umeda, there is a cafe called "Delice" in the Links building. While Umeda Daimaru only offers tart takeout, this place also has a cafe. They offer an all-you-can-eat tart option for 90 minutes. I chose the set of "Favorite Tart & Drink for 450 yen" (total 1300 yen) and opted for a hot coffee with the option to refill for an additional 110 yen. The most popular tart, the fruit tart (850 yen), arrived shortly after I ordered. It was beautifully decorated with a variety of colorful fruits, including my favorite pink grapefruit. The custard at the bottom was sweet, but the balance with the tartness of the fruits was perfect and delicious. The coffee had a bit of acidity, so I added some milk to make it milder. Despite feeling satisfied with just one piece, the idea of having all-you-can-eat tarts is impressive considering the size of each piece. I observed some girls ordering the Select Buffet, and I was surprised to see one young man in his 20s already on his sixth piece from the buffet. The restaurant does not have a restroom inside, so you have to exit and use the escalator to reach the facilities on another floor. If you are dining alone, you can ask the staff for permission to leave the restaurant for a moment.
