Dinner revisit. There was some commotion about wasabi terrorism, but it was just a false alarm. Anyway, I ordered a special nigiri set, chawanmushi, and a bottle of beer, totaling around 3300 yen. Normally, they serve 2 pieces per order, but I asked for an assorted plate because I get tired of eating the same thing. The toppings included shrimp, squid legs, fatty tuna, sea bream, abalone, conger eel, kazu-no-ko, and sea urchin. As single pieces, the sushi would have cost around 2150 yen (excluding tax), but as an assortment, it was a good deal at 1750 yen (excluding tax). The presentation was not fancy, and it lacked the traditional Edo-style craftsmanship, but the large toppings were satisfying, cost-effective, and tasted decent. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by after a long time. Since it's summer, I felt there weren't many options for dishes, and most customers were ordering sushi, so there weren't many choices for side dishes to go with alcohol. It was a bit disappointing. Well, for drinkers, we don't need a lot of side dishes, so if we can have a few fresh items little by little, it would be the best feeling.

I visited Ichiba Zushi after a long time. The restaurant was full due to the Golden Week holiday, but luckily I was able to sit at the counter. I enjoyed tuna, bonito, octopus, sardine, swordfish, shrimp, seared salmon, and clam miso soup to finish. It was quite satisfying. The Namba branch was lively and comfortable. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is located in a narrow street corner in the bustling area of Namba, with a simple exterior that resembles a traditional sushi restaurant. Upon entering, you will find a central counter seat on the first floor (there is also a second floor with seating). The friendly Osaka-style sushi chefs stand in the center, ready to take your order and serve you promptly. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it easy to order. Chopsticks, soy sauce, and dishes are provided on the counter table, and a hot towel is brought to you as soon as you sit down. The chefs prepare each order right in front of you, using fresh ingredients from a refrigerated case, resulting in delicious and generous pieces of sushi. One memorable experience was when a neighboring customer ordered a tempting dish, and the chef noticed my interest and kindly prepared a similar dish for me. This willingness to accommodate requests made the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for high-quality non-conveyor belt sushi in a relaxed setting, this place is highly recommended. Despite the perception that non-conveyor belt sushi may be expensive, the pricing is reasonable, such as 980 yen for a set of three pieces of fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, and lean tuna. It's a great value for the quality you receive.

I went for lunch after the movie around 12:17. It's been a while since I last visited. I haven't posted it on my food log, but I think I've been here about 5 or 6 times (*._.)? Each of us had our favorites, as much as we wanted x4. - Swordtip squid x2 x1. - Live sweet shrimp x2 x1. - Torikai x2 x1. - Red miso soup (with fish bones) x1. It's a big bowl with plenty in it. - Red shrimp x2 x1. The head was grilled and served. - Red clam x2 x1. - Toro tekkamaki x3 x1. x2 ÷ 4 = 3 pieces each. - Live spot prawn x1. It was very lively and fresh. The chef's recommendation. It was still moving even after being made into sushi. I couldn't help but thank it after eating. It was delicious. I also enjoyed eating the head. - Fresh clam x2 x1. - Sea urchin ✹(ᯅ̈ )✹ x1. x2 x2 ÷ 4 = 1 piece each. The revenge from the other day. It has to be this delicious... I think it's a matter of taste, but... Some people ordered seconds the other day, but the four of us were surprised at how much we didn't like it... The other girls ordered eel, salmon, medium fatty tuna, etc... We're full now.

A sushi restaurant that stays open late, perfect for a second round of drinks. My favorite is the large yellowtail sashimi. Located near Nankai Namba Station, it's easy to access. The chefs are friendly and the yellowtail is delicious. They are open from 12pm to 5pm, so you can even have a daytime drink or use it as a second round spot. I overate because it was my second stop, but I want to fully enjoy the sushi next time.

It's Sunday afternoon. I returned to Namba from Nara on the Kintetsu train and looked for a late lunch. My first choice Western-style restaurant was closed for lunch break. So, I wandered around Namba Higashiguchi and found this sushi restaurant called Ichiba Zushi. The counter was empty, so I entered without hesitation. Since it's a casual day, I ordered tea and checked the menu on the wall. They had various sushi sets, but the basic option was ordering sushi pieces individually. I ordered the following:
- Sweet shrimp
- Conger eel
- Boiled shrimp
- Eel
- Shrimp
- Hokkigai (surf clam)
- Cucumber roll
- Anago (sea eel) hand roll
Being in Kansai, it seems like eel is popular here. I could hear voices from around the counter saying, "Eel~" and the staff energetically responding, "Coming right up!" They quickly heated the eel and served it. I don't mind this style of ordering sushi pieces individually, it's quite nice. As I leisurely enjoyed my meal, I heard that the Tokaido Shinkansen had stopped due to a power outage. Oh no. I decided to head to Shin-Osaka early. And that's how my meal ended.

When you feel like casually enjoying some sushi in Namba, Market Sushi is the place to go. The sushi chef will skillfully serve up sushi at the counter. It's usually not too crowded when I go, so there's a sense of value with generous portions. I usually end with a trio of thin rolls - Tekka, Kappa, and Shinko Maki. The Tekka Maki is especially delicious. And I always make sure to order the clam red miso soup at Market Sushi. It's packed with clams and so tasty. Can't wait to go back for some more quick and delicious sushi!

Great cost-performance, delicious taste, friendly service - all good! I visited the Sushizushi Namba store, where they have huge, surprising oversized sushi as well as normal-sized sushi. The variety of side dishes is also impressive. Whether you drink alcohol or not, this is a satisfying place for everyone. It's family-friendly and we had a fun and delicious meal.

I wanted to eat sushi with my daughter, so we went for a rare lunch drink. Unfortunately, the beer was poured without changing the glass when we asked for a replacement. The sushi was all delicious, but when we ordered three pieces, one was forgotten. Maybe they were busy. They quickly refilled the pickled ginger when it ran out, and we enjoyed the meal from start to finish.

Today, before the drinking party, I felt a little hungry so I stopped by a sushi restaurant. I had one glass of beer, some medium fatty tuna, and decided to try the "紋甲烏賊" (monkou ika) that day. The squid was thick and satisfying to eat, yet refreshing. I think I might order it again next time! 😄

Last year, when I passed by the store, it was closed, and I heard it had gone bankrupt. But it seems to have made a comeback, which is good. Expensive sushi is delicious, of course! This place is cheap and delicious! Everything is consistently tasty! No disappointments! That's why I keep coming back. The red miso soup at the end was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I ate 4 servings of gyoza with 3 plates of sushi (6 pieces) and a non-alcoholic beer at a crowded sushi restaurant before heading back to the hotel. It cost me 1300 yen and I left feeling satisfied. It's a great deal for fans of bright things (laughs). Normally, the restaurant is open until 5:00 in the morning. I envy the bustling streets of Namba where sushi restaurants stay open until that time.

It's been a while since I visited Market Sushi. Last year, they were closed for a long time, so I was a bit worried, but recently they have been open for business. However, many Market Sushi shops in Minami seem to have closed down, which is quite sad. I visited for the first time since they reopened. The first floor of the shop has a counter seat. There are two chefs behind the counter. I ordered a small portion of uzaku. It has a sweet ponzu-like flavor. Let's have them make some sushi. I had hokkaido, maguro, uni, and anago... no additional orders. The sushi was quite different from my impression of it in the past. The skills of the chefs and the management can make a big difference in a restaurant with the same name. Hopefully, when things settle down, the freshness of the ingredients might improve. Market sushi is a familiar sight in Osaka, and I hope for its revival in many ways.

I visited the popular sushi restaurant "Ichiba Zushi Namba" in Namba. I had previously visited this place once before. There were 3 sushi chefs behind the counter. The items I tried were swordtip squid, horse mackerel, eel, negitoro roll, and Oolong tea. The sushi was easy to eat but the taste was just okay and the cost performance was not great.

It is located just inside the Nankai Street shopping district from Namba Station. I ordered a seafood bowl for 1800 yen excluding tax. I liked the way it was served, but I would have been happier if it had been a bit thicker. I felt that there was not enough rice under the seafood, and it would have been nice to have miso soup and pickles. Overall, it gave me the impression of a store aimed at tourists. The interior of the store is very narrow, and the chefs were wearing alien costumes, which was a bit strange.
