This is a shop located on the underground first floor of KITTE Hakata, on the Hakata side of Hakata Station. I think Temjin's gyoza is famous in Fukuoka. The interior of the shop has counter and table seats. They have a lunch menu. I ordered the Temjin set meal for 1380 yen including tax. You can get extra rice for free. The small gyoza with thin skin is delicious. The fried chicken has a crispy coating. It also comes with mentaiko, so the rice goes well. The chairs have no backrest, so it's a place where you eat quickly and leave.

I visited the long-established Temujin restaurant after many years. I used to come here often for their delicious dumplings. Even though it's located in Daimyo, I couldn't resist stopping by when I saw it. I was feeling nostalgic, so I ordered the Taiwan-style mixed noodles with 10 dumplings set. I was worried if I could finish all 10 dumplings, but I forgot that these dumplings are the small type, so eating 20-40 would be easy. The mixed noodles were not too spicy, and the thin udon noodles paired well with it. It was a delicious treat of dumplings after a long time.

The one-bite gyoza in Hakata is definitely Temujin! The underground area of KITTE Hakata has a nostalgic street food vibe. The gyoza has a slightly sweet thin skin with plenty of vegetables in the filling. It is served with gyoza sauce and yuzu pepper. The fried rice has a familiar and delicious taste. The soup is also generous. Today, the saltiness is a bit stronger, but the Kotecchan gyoza is also delicious.

Finally, the Kyushu gourmet tour is coming to an end. We still have some time before the departure of the Shinkansen, so we are having a drink at "Temujin KITTE Hakata Store" on the B1F floor of KITTE Hakata, directly connected to JR Hakata Station. The restaurant was bustling just a moment ago, but it suddenly became empty. The reason for this is probably as you can imagine. The menu was so extensive that it was difficult to take photos of everything. I remember that the food menu had something like "Food that speaks to the eyes..." The draft beer (glass) was Kirin Ichiban Shibori. As a last meal of mentaiko in Hakata, I had the chance to enjoy the authentic taste of mentaiko. The large grains that burst in your mouth were truly a specialty of the region. Delicious! This is definitely a dish that makes you crave rice. The grilled dumplings (10 pieces) had plenty of vegetables and were light and refreshing, a healthy bite-sized dumpling. The skin was soft and not my favorite, but it was delicious! The boiled dumplings were compared to the grilled dumplings. The soup was made with flavorful chicken broth. The dumplings had a chewy and mochi-like texture. Both the grilled and boiled dumplings were delicious. The mixed noodles with mentaiko and egg were a dish that paid homage to the popular Hakata restaurant "Rarukii" and their "pepetama." The Hakata-style evolved mixed noodles "mixed noodles with mentaiko and egg" were mixed at a super high speed, and were ready to eat in no time. The flavor of Hakata mentaiko and garlic oil went perfectly together! The noodles were chewy and delicious! Did I use the Hakata dialect correctly? I ordered fried burdock as a connection to the next dish. The freshly fried burdock was crispy and hot, with a slightly sweet coating and a crunchy texture and aroma of the burdock inside. It was delicious even without any sauce, but it was perfect with a sprinkle of shichimi pepper and mayonnaise as a beer snack. The fried rice (with egg soup) was freshly grilled and fluffy. The seasoning was just right, very delicious! When you take a bite, you'll want to keep eating more. I thought the small bowl contained soup, but it was the same size as the bowl of boiled dumplings. The soup was made of the same flavorful chicken broth. When eaten with the fried rice, it surprisingly tasted light and delicious. We tried a variety of dishes, and they were all delicious. We were able to fully enjoy the flavors of Hakata. However, when writing this blog, I found out that there is a "Temujin Umeda Store" at Grand Front Osaka. Thank you for the delicious meal. Delicious Food Gourmet Diary.

I went to Temujin KITTE Hakata store on April 16, 2023 (Sunday). This place is located on the basement floor of Hakata Station's KITTE building. Although this store is famous for its gyoza, they also have noodle dishes on their menu. The noodle menu includes Taiwan Mazesoba, Rice, and more. I ordered the Taiwan Mazesoba and rice for lunch. The Taiwan Mazesoba cost 798 yen (tax included) and the rice cost 100 yen (tax included). The warm Mazesoba had green onions, minced meat, and egg yolk. It had a delicious aroma. The noodles were thick like udon and had a good chewy texture. The spicy sauce combined with the rich flavor of the egg yolk made it delicious. I mixed the remaining sauce with the rice for a satisfying double carb lunch. The store is located at 9-1 Hakata Station Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, KITTE Hakata B1. They are open every day without holidays.

After a long time, I was able to satisfy my craving for dumplings. I was taken to Temujin at KITTE by a friend - I can't remember the last time I came here. ・Temujin set meal・A hearty set meal with grilled dumplings and fried chicken. The rice is a large serving, and you can get seconds too! So grateful~♡(´。・ω・。`) The small-sized dumplings seem endless, and with the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) included, the rice just keeps disappearing. It's also conveniently located near the station, which is great. Thank you for the meal!

Another specialty of the restaurant is the bite-sized dumplings. I ordered the Temujin set meal which includes bite-sized dumplings, fried chicken, and cod roe. You can have unlimited rice refills. The dumplings are small but packed with flavor and delicious. They are not crispy but rather chewy. The fried chicken is hot but the batter is too hard. The cod roe comes in a generous portion of three pieces. One serving of rice was not enough for me, so I had a refill! The meal was very filling and satisfying, although the fried chicken was a bit disappointing. Thank you for the meal.

I was planning to go to the neighboring Torikawa Daiminister, but it was full, so I went to the next door Temujin instead. I was already quite full, but I still ordered water dumplings, fried dumplings, and large chicken wings. As expected from a dumpling restaurant, the dumplings were delicious. The large chicken wings were crispy and went well with drinks.

Half & Half of Fried and Boiled Dumplings. KITTE "Temujin" Located in the basement of KITTE Hakata, "Temujin" is a well-known dumpling shop among locals in Hakata. When I visited, there was a set menu where you could get a half order of fried dumplings and a half order of boiled dumplings along with a draft beer for exactly 1000 yen. It's interesting that they offer fried dumplings instead of the usual grilled ones, allowing you to enjoy a different texture. Eating them with tartar sauce was a new experience. The restaurant has an open layout without walls, so it can be a bit embarrassing to be seen by others. ●Shop Information Temujin 092-260-6488 9-1 Hakataekichuogai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City KITTE Hakata B1F

After shopping at Amu Plaza, we took a little break at Temujin. It had been a while since I last visited, and it was the first time for my companion. We ordered bottled beer and grilled dumplings. The dumplings had a thin skin and were quite light and gentle. They were small, so you could easily eat them in one bite! Beer and dumplings, the best combination. Feeling like tourists, we also ordered the tonkotsu soup dumplings. I imagined it would be like soaking tonkotsu ramen in dumplings, but in reality, it was a refined soup. Personally, I felt it was a light tonkotsu flavor. Even if you're not a fan of tonkotsu, you'll be fine! Temujin is directly connected from Hakata Station, and there are many other places where you can drink during the day, creating a fun atmosphere. We were able to relax and enjoy a casual drink. Thank you for the meal~.

Shopping in Hakata and wandering around. With nothing to do and no plans for the evening, how about having a drink during the day! We headed to the underground floor of KITTE Hakata (⌒▽⌒ )=3=3 It was around 2 PM on a holiday afternoon, but every shop was bustling. Torikawa Daimin and the recently opened Sashisu had long lines. We managed to find a spot at Temujin, which seemed to have some availability! I had only been to Temujin once before at a different location in Tenjin. We ordered a highball and two servings of gyoza. The gyoza at Temujin is made with beef mince instead of pork mince. It was meaty but also had a good amount of vegetables, very delicious~♡ Honestly, I didn't find the gyoza I had at a different location before to be that tasty, so I didn't have high expectations, but Temujin was delicious! It made me happy to realize that (ˆ人ˆ) We quickly finished the two servings of gyoza, especially with the addition of red yuzu pepper. We ordered an extra serving of gyoza, a large portion of chicken wings, Kotecchan's vegetable stamina stir-fry, and vinegar motsu. We also had three more highballs ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ They also have a "gyoza ranking" where you can have your name displayed at the restaurant based on how many gyoza you eat. It's fun to see how many you can eat, but it surprisingly fills you up, doesn't it? I'd like to challenge myself to see how many I can eat someday (。-∀-) Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat fried rice before watching the movie, so I was very happy to have the fried rice I was thinking of. The soup was different from what I expected, more like an instant flavor than a thick Chinese soup. It was my first time visiting, and the dumplings were small, meaty, and sweet, with a chewy skin. They were delicious.

Located in the food court area underground at KITTE. I decided to enter right away. I don't have great memories of Hakata gyoza, but since I had a lot of seafood during my business trip to Sapporo, I started with the grilled gyoza. The gyoza were sticking together too much, making it difficult to separate them without the skin coming off. Gyoza can be tricky - even if the ingredients are delicious, a cooking mishap can ruin the dish. That was the case this time as well. The taste was good though. Moving on, I ordered the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) peperoncino mixed noodles. The portion size was just right and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The taste was as expected, within the range of what I had anticipated, but still delicious.

It was my first visit. I preferred the fried rice over the dumplings. The dumplings were delicious as well! The Taiwanese maze soba was unexpectedly light, which was a bit disappointing as I was expecting a richer and thicker flavor. It wasn't quite a dumpling specialty store for me.

I visited this area around the peak lunch time and everywhere was crowded, so I almost became a lunch refugee. I just wanted to sit down, so I looked for a place to have a drink and luckily found this place empty. Temujin is known for their dumplings, so it was a good opportunity as I hadn't tried dumplings in Fukuoka yet. I ordered a mega highball from the Trivie menu, potato salad, and the main dish, pan-fried dumplings. The total came to 2174 yen. I made a mistake by sitting in the back of the restaurant, which made it difficult to place orders. The potato salad was ordinary but had a generous portion. As for the dumplings, they were small but packed with flavor, especially the garlic. Despite their size, they were satisfying. This was the only place I had dumplings during my trip, so I can't compare, but I can say that Fukuoka has delicious dumplings even in small sizes. It was a helpful reference for me. Thank you for the meal.

I had a sudden craving for dumplings and found a nearby restaurant called Temujin, so I decided to go there. Even though there were only 2-3 customers, no one greeted me when I entered the restaurant, which made me a little confused. I wish they had at least shown me to an available seat. I wanted to have a hearty meal today, so I ordered the Temujin set meal for 1200 yen, which included 10 dumplings, 3 pieces of fried chicken, and mentaiko. The dumplings were delicious and the fried chicken was surprisingly big. However, there were only two staff members, so they were in the kitchen most of the time, and I couldn't call out to them when I needed something like water.

Located in a building near the station, this place is non-smoking (which is important for me as I can't stand cigarette smoke). I ordered two servings of gyoza and a draft beer. The gyoza here are bite-sized, slightly larger than other places. The filling is delicious, but unfortunately, the back side (the side cooked on the griddle) wasn't as crispy as I would have liked.

This is a famous dumpling specialty store located on the first floor underground of KITTE Hakata, directly connected to Hakata Station. The Temujin set meal costs 1200 yen with free rice refills, and the Hormone Yakisoba costs 1250 yen. The filling uses beef instead of pork, with plenty of vegetables for a healthy yet flavorful taste. The skin is thin and soft, bite-sized. It is best enjoyed with the special vinegar soy sauce. Yuzu pepper is also recommended. The fried chicken is quite large and tastes like the fried chicken from a Chinese restaurant. It goes well with bottled beer. I blame the state of emergency. Thank you for the meal.

Located on the basement floor of KITTE Hakata, this restaurant is a chain specializing in dumplings, with a focus on Fukuoka but also expanding to Tokyo and Osaka. The interior is table-centric and has an open feel. The taste is typical, with options like chili oil and sesame oil fried dumplings, as well as boiled dumplings with plenty of vegetables and minced beef. The quality is decent but nothing too special, similar to what you can find elsewhere. They also serve a spicy red yuzu pepper. The convenience of being close to the station is a plus.

Temujin is a long-established dumpling restaurant located on the basement floor of KITTE Hakata, adjacent to Hakata Station. Despite not having visited before, I was familiar with the name as it has been around for over 50 years. The restaurant has an open style with an Asian atmosphere. I ordered the pan-fried dumplings (10 pieces for ¥498) and boiled dumplings (10 pieces for ¥648). The dumplings at Temujin are bite-sized, filled with plenty of vegetables, and made with beef instead of pork. The pan-fried dumplings were light and easy to eat in one bite. You can enjoy them with a sprinkle of red yuzu pepper or dipping them in the sauce. The boiled dumplings were filled with hot soup and were satisfying to eat with a spoon. It felt like I had finally completed a long-standing task. I would like to visit this restaurant again for a hearty meal or a casual drink.
