I also like the store in Nishijin, so I decided to try the one in Itoshima. It's great that there are private rooms, especially during this time when infection is a concern. When waiting for a table, customers are asked to write down their name, number of people, and the dishes they want to order on a piece of paper. The presentation was impressive, but the overall taste was considered "average" by my husband. The miso soup was flavorful but lacked ingredients. The salad and pickles were fresh and tasty. We also tried the Itoshima Sea Bream Set (1980 yen) which included various dishes featuring Itoshima sea bream. The sesame-flavored sea bream salad was delicious, and the simmered sea bream was sweet and savory. The sea bream fry was decent, and the vegetable salad was fresh. The rice cooked in a feather pot was shiny and delicious, and we ended the meal with sea bream tea, which was flavorful. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was polite and attentive. If I had to choose between the two sets, I preferred the Itoshima Sea Bream Set.

I was seated at the counter, which allowed me to watch the kitchen in action and kept me entertained. The food was served promptly, although the staff seemed busy. Despite some minor flaws, such as being served coffee unexpectedly, I appreciate their sincerity in both the positive and negative aspects. This restaurant may become quite popular.

However, there were 2 order mistakes that caused inconvenience. One was with a drink, which was replaced. The other was a bigger issue. I was told that the clay pot rice would take 40 minutes, but ended up waiting for over 1 hour and 30 minutes, only to find out when I asked politely that my order hadn't been processed. Maybe the staff should double-check orders. Will they make improvements?

I visited this restaurant on a special anniversary and I am so glad I chose this place for such an important day. I had a wonderful time and felt truly happy.

We didn't reserve a course and ordered a la carte, but the food took about 30 minutes to arrive, and the order of dishes was all over the place, making it impossible to enjoy. There were only about three people in the kitchen, and the staff in the dining area seemed idle. I couldn't bring myself to complain to the part-time staff, but other customers were clearly frustrated. I understand it was a busy holiday period, but if they couldn't handle the customers, they shouldn't have accepted reservations. We came to enjoy a meal with family, paid a high price, but ended up leaving with a very unpleasant feeling. Regardless of the taste of the food, the restaurant did not function well as an izakaya. This was the first time I experienced such a restaurant.
