In September of the 5th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:00-15:00), you can enjoy a delicious house-style ramen for 850 yen. The ramen comes with normal firmness noodles, rich flavor, normal oil, 3 sheets of seaweed, 1 slice of chashu, and spinach. Rice and pickles are also available for free.

A new ramen shop has opened in my neighborhood, and I finally visited today. I ordered a regular ramen (with 3 sheets of seaweed, 1 slice of chashu, and spinach) and decided to upgrade to the special ramen for an extra 150 yen (with 3 sheets of seaweed, 2 slices of chashu, seasoned egg, white leeks, and spinach). Additionally, they were offering free rice due to the broken air conditioning. The ramen here is different from other places I've been to - the noodles are thick and short, the seaweed is thick and doesn't tear easily, the chashu is large and flavorful, and the seasoned egg is perfectly runny. The white leeks and spinach are fresh and crunchy, and the rice is delicious and firm. The shop has been open for a month now, so the flavors have settled, but the broth is still rich and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and even made a chashu rice bowl with the extra chashu. They also offer a ladies' ramen and a kids' ramen, but I wonder what ingredients they come with. I hope they add that information to the ticket machine. The special ramen (regular size) costs 1000 yen.

A new family-style ramen shop has opened in a residential area northeast of Tsutenkaku. Based on reviews, it seems to be affiliated with a popular chain in the Kanto region. I ordered the special ramen for 1000 yen, which comes with extra toppings like seasoned egg and chashu. Rice was served as a complimentary side. The flavor was quite strong, and the noodles were a bit short. The spinach, typical of family-style ramen, wasn't very tasty, but the other toppings were delicious. The rice was also good.

I received information that a new branch of a family-owned ramen restaurant opened in Shinsekai last month, so I visited it late. When I arrived around 11:15 on a weekday, there were 5 customers in front of me and 2 customers behind me, showing that it is quite popular. The inside of the restaurant is quite hot, apparently due to the poor air conditioning. As a compensation, they offer free rice until the inside gets cooler, and you can even have seconds for free. I ordered a medium-sized ramen and got the complimentary rice in about 5 minutes. The ramen was pretty standard for a family-owned ramen. The soup was rich but not too heavy, with a good balance. The noodles were medium-thick, typical of a family-owned ramen, with a nice firmness and chewiness. The chashu was delicious. However, the disappointing part was the spinach and rice, both of which were clearly not fresh and had a strange color, especially the rice, which had a yellowish tint that was off-putting. Despite that, the ramen was quite delicious, so this place might become a popular spot with long lines soon. I might visit again when I'm in the area. Thank you for the meal.

Night visit. Purchased food tickets. It was very hot inside. The Special and Large sizes were all sold out, and it seems they were out of cabbage as well. I ordered the Chashu Ramen in medium size for 1150 yen. I realized later that the thinly sliced Chashu was cheaper... I should have ordered that. The hot and rich soup and thick Chashu were delicious. Rice was free in August, so I added that. The room was hot, but the service was polite and good. Thank you for the meal.

I am "Noronori," mainly exploring lunch spots around Sakai. When I entered the restaurant, it was empty! There were unwashed bowls on the counter, indicating that the lunch rush was over. There was a ticket machine right at the entrance, and I ordered the ramen for 850 yen. They asked for my preferences, and I requested normal noodles, normal flavor, and less oil. It was light and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The other day on my day off, after drinking at 98-san for the first time in a while, I finally visited a "家系ラーメン" (home-style ramen) shop called "斗星家(とぼしや)" located at the foot of Tsutenkaku Tower that I had been curious about. This new shop opened on August 4th. When I entered, it seemed like the air conditioning was not working properly that day, so they offered free rice and unlimited refills (´Д` ) I bought a ticket for "ラーメン(中)" with an additional seasoned egg topping from the ticket machine. You can choose various preferences, so I requested the noodles to be firm, the flavor to be strong, and the oil to be normal. Soon after, the ramen was served along with the rice. The soup was a soy sauce-flavored pork bone base typical of home-style ramen. The noodles were slightly wavy medium-straight noodles. The toppings included spinach, a seasoned egg, pork shoulder chashu, and seaweed. I ate it normally at first, then added grated garlic, bean paste, and pepper from the table for a flavor change, and enjoyed it thoroughly (´Д` ) Home-style ramen is truly delicious with garlic added! I finished by pouring the remaining soup over the rice and it was delicious (´Д` ) I missed out on the "free topping ticket" that was distributed at the opening, but since it's close to my place, I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

"Ramen (Regular)(¥850)" I visited "Iekei Ramen Toseiya," which opened on August 4th. The nearest station is Osaka Metro Ebisucho Station. The menu includes: Ramen (Regular) - ¥850 Special Ramen (Regular) - ¥1000 Chashu Ramen (Regular) - ¥1100 (Medium) - +¥50 (Large) - +¥100 Ladies Ramen - ¥700 Kids Ramen - ¥500 Flavored Egg - +¥100 Extra Nori (seaweed) - +¥100 Extra Chashu - +¥250 Extra White Negi (green onion) - +¥100 Extra Spinach - +¥100 Extra Quail Egg - +¥50. The broth is made from animal-based pork bones with a low-viscosity soy sauce soup that has a slightly salty and refreshing taste with a strong umami flavor from the pork bone broth. The noodles are homemade using the Yamato Seisakusho noodle-making machine "Rich Men," with a wavy medium thickness. The noodles are short, with good adherence to the soup, a chewy and elastic texture, and a good firmness. The chashu (sliced pork) is tender with a good seasoning, allowing the meat's umami flavor to shine through. You can choose the firmness of the noodles, the intensity of the flavor, and the amount of oil. You can also adjust the taste using black pepper, vinegar, doubanjiang (spicy bean paste), sesame, and garlic on the table. Rice is free for the first three days from the opening day. The owner of this shop gained experience at "Kyodo-ya" in the Chikatoyama Shopping Street before opening this shop.

I love house-style ramen. The basic taste is good, but hmm, it still feels like the flavor isn't quite there yet... But I have high hopes for the future. Well, rice goes well with garlic and vinegar, but still... Osaka doesn't seem to have much awareness of "house-style" ramen yet, so let's work hard to get them to recognize it under the Tsutenkaku Tower! However, having only a fan and no air conditioning in this damn hot weather is just unbearable.

Ramen (Regular) (Pork Bone + Soy Sauce 850 yen) ★★★☆
The soup is a soy sauce flavor based on pork bone. The noodles are slightly wavy medium straight noodles. The toppings include pork loin chashu, spinach, and seaweed. This shop opened near Tsutenkaku on August 4th. I visited early based on Shimizu-san's information. The soup is made from pork bone with a bit of chicken oil added, and a salty soy sauce seasoning for a sharp and flavorful taste, with a rich and odorless pork bone broth. The noodles are homemade from Yamato Seisakusho's Rich Man, with a short length and a chewy texture, and a good wheat flavor. There is a large piece of chashu, tender and well seasoned. You can adjust the firmness of the noodles, the intensity of the flavor, and the amount of oil to your liking. Additionally, you can enjoy different flavors by using the provided garlic, doubanjiang, sesame, pepper, vinegar, and other condiments. There is a free rice service for the first three days of opening. I also received a free permanent topping voucher. The shop owner is from the "Kyodo-ka" family and opened this shop in this area. (Recommended for the soup and noodles) Permanent Topping Voucher until 2023.08.04

The noodles were hot, but the soup was lukewarm. The clear temperature difference in the ramen significantly detracted from its deliciousness.
