I considered getting the tomato ramen, but opted for the limited menu-like "Meat and Green Onion Ramen." I chose to have the noodles cooked firm. The soy sauce-flavored soup with plenty of back fat floating on top. Plenty of pork belly. Vibrantly green chopped green onions in the center. Enjoyable medium-thin noodles with a smooth texture. I added plenty of chopped ginger from the table to enhance the texture and spiciness. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Kio has branches all over Osaka. Just before starting a diet, I chose the miso chashu ramen, avoiding the tempting meat block. The staff, mostly foreigners, were very polite and pleasant. The chashu was slightly tender, almost falling apart. I wonder if there are carrots in it? No corn though... Overall, it was a pretty average ramen. I'm not sure about the choice of noodles though. I thought it was just a typical chain restaurant, but it was not bad. I wish the noodles were not toy-like, and the price of 1200 yen was a bit high for this.

I have known Kameo Ramen for over 15 years, but recently I feel like I have come to appreciate the goodness of Kameo more (lol). I went in for the tomato ramen, but ended up getting the lunch set that was a good deal until 5 PM, giving in to the word "bargain." I end up living each day sacrificing what I really want to eat for something cheaper by 100 or 200 yen... accumulating money little by little only to easily spend it at rip-off places makes me feel murderous (lol). I often visit this shop located just outside the Shinsekai shopping street for a drink during the day. I love the traditional taste, so I always order it. The noodles are very thin, which I really like. I start with firm noodles and then get a soft one for the extra serving. The soup is a classic Kyushu ramen style and it's really delicious. On a hot day, I tried the refreshing "Tomato Tsukemen" and it was also very tasty. This place always offers the same reliable and delicious ramen, so I definitely want to visit again. Eating ramen in the middle of the night... the worst scenario. And since I can't drink, while everyone else was drinking, I was just eating. But my drunk friends really wanted to eat ramen. Being a good sport, I decided to join them until the end. I chose a spicy ramen. Even though I wasn't really hungry, I ate the ramen in the middle of the night. Surprisingly, it was delicious and I couldn't bear to leave any behind, so I finished it all. The menu at this restaurant also had English, Korean, and Chinese translations.

The area is crowded with Chinese and Korean people, and it is very noisy. The tonkotsu flavor is not very rich, more like a forgettable taste. By the way, Kameo in Minamikita Nishinakajima used to have a delicious image.
