The appearance of the tofu donuts lined up in the store was so cute that I couldn't help but buy them, even though I actually don't like donuts. I bought three flavors: roasted black sesame, mitarashi, and bittersweet chocolate. When I got home, I had them with coffee, and they were definitely tofu donuts. I checked the website for the ingredients and manufacturing process, and I found out that they are made with a special variety of sweet Nagano soybeans and spring water from Northern Shinshu, filtered by hand, mixed with flour and eggs, and fried for 3 minutes. It's amazing how they are made with such simple ingredients and steps, which actually shows their dedication. I love pastries and sweets made with few ingredients, as I think the fewer the ingredients, the more difficult the process. The fact that the tofu donuts have a same-day expiration date is also important.

Renovation work is underway at Ion. Kusefuku Shoten has opened nearby, and right next to it is Kaldis. I bought a lucky bag to celebrate the opening. I also got some ice cream. It was delicious. Among the six stores at Izuminami Ion that offer take-out ice cream, this one might be the best. It's rich and more suited for winter, I think. The neighboring store, Marche Creme, also has my favorite ice cream with fresh fruit. I ordered a double gelato for 480 yen (tax included). Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by on my way back from shopping. I always end up dropping by. I often buy dressings and simmered fish, which I also like to buy for people who enjoy Japanese food. The way the items are displayed is very easy to see. Today, I bought crispy corn rice crackers and seaweed butter. The rice crackers are so addictive, so be careful. I sometimes buy side dishes for my meals. Adult salmon and spicy cod roe. The product names are cute, and they taste delicious with a little kick.
