Visited on a Sunday afternoon, arrived a little after 2 PM and there was a long line. Finally got in around 3 PM. Ordered a chestnut chocolate cake, tiramisu, Ceylon iced tea, hojicha honey hot tea. Usually I order the milk crepe, but this time I tried the limited edition chestnut chocolate cake which had bits of chestnut in it. When I have a sweet cake, I usually order coffee or straight tea, but this time I mistakenly ordered sweet black tea. The biggest shock this time was the male staff member. I've been to this favorite cafe a few times before, but this time the male staff was terrible. He couldn't remember whether I ordered the hot tea or my husband ordered the iced tea, so he stuck his nose into the pot in front of us to check the smell, and then switched the tea tags. I've worked in a cafe before, and if you forget, you should go back to the kitchen and check the order slip, never open the lid in front of the customer. It was shocking to see that the staff here lacked proper training. I like herbs, but I might not visit this branch again.

I usually always choose the classic milk crepe at Herb's for a relaxing tea time, but today I decided to try the seasonal limited edition melon cake. It was filled with juicy melon pieces and instantly lifted my shopping fatigue. However, as someone who doesn't handle heat well, I found it a bit too cool. It's perfect for those who don't mind chilly air conditioning!

I visited the shop with my girlfriend. When we entered the shop, we were told that we needed to order at least one drink each, which we missed seeing on the menu. We ended up spending 2000 yen on cake and tea. The size of the cake slices varied depending on the shop, and the one we had was a bit small and left us wanting more. The chairs were hard and not very comfortable. However, we were seated promptly without having to wait. Personally, I recommend the melon cake and blueberry cake as they were delicious.

The reason for my visit after a long time is because they have summer strawberry shortcake. The summer strawberries used are overall less sweet, and the cake here is known for being large but easy to eat in one go. Despite being fully booked today and having several groups waiting outside, they only had two staff members, which was quite surprising. The shortage of staff is a tough situation, but their hard work in serving customers was admirable. Thank you for the meal!

In the showcase, there are large whole cakes that look like they could be in a picture book, which gets you excited when choosing. The slices are also big, which is appealing! They all taste delicious, but my favorite is the chestnut tart! I keep coming back for it! I arrived after 1 pm and there were a few people in line. By 2 pm, the line gets quite long!

Located in the underground shopping area just off Hankyu Umeda Station, this place has a great location. I was full but wanted to have some tea, so I decided to stop by. I wanted to have some cake but didn't have room for it. The atmosphere felt a bit lonely without windows, but the tea was delicious and they offer a pot service so you can have plenty to drink and relax. I also love their cakes here. It was a good choice for me as I had a train to catch. It seems like a good place for a meeting as well.

I stopped by after a long time. Even though I went early, there were only about 4 types of cakes to choose from. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake for ¥950 and the Muscat Jasmine for ¥850. The cakes were simple, with a two-tiered rare cheesecake and fresh strawberries on top. The sweetness was just right and very delicious. The tea had a nice aroma of muscat and jasmine.

Recently, I have been going to izakayas and rice restaurants all the time, but I took a break and went to a cafe! I wanted to eat cheesecake, so I went to Herb's, which had high ratings for their cakes. I ordered black tea with a rare cheesecake, and coffee with white chocolate cake. First of all, I was surprised by the size of the cake slice!!! It was quite large, so those who love sweet treats can enjoy a generous portion. Both cakes had an elegant sweetness, with a fluffy sponge, and the rare cheesecake had a jelly-like texture which was delicious. The chocolate cake also looked delicious, so I think I'll go try the chocolate cake next time! ☺️

This time, I visited around 12:30 after lunch. It was still a bit early as there were only about three other customers and no line. The cake was large and looked very appealing, paired with a cup of coffee. It was delicious. Today's choice was the Strawberry Cream Tart. With custard cream, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream, it was impossible not to enjoy it! I had a great time catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. When we left, there was already a long line forming (I didn't even notice as I was near the entrance). It seems like every store gets busy during tea time. I'm glad we went a bit early.

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, my wife and I visited HARBS for the first time at the Hankyu Sanbangai store after finishing our afternoon drinks in Umeda. The café space inside was crowded, but we were able to wait outside. We purchased a Milk Crepe and a seasonal Black & White Chocolate Cake from the takeout counter without having to wait. We enjoyed the cakes with black coffee when we got home. HARBS cakes are definitely delicious and a treat to have once in a while due to their high quality. The Milk Crepe was filled with seasonal fruits, while the Chocolate Cake was fluffy with a rich chocolate flavor. It was a delightful sweet time.

After shopping in Osaka, we took a break and entered this place. There was a line but we were able to get in fairly quickly. The cakes were indeed large in size and very satisfying... but as a woman in her forties, it was a bit tough. I'm currently trying to conceive so I was very happy to see that they had decaf. I had a wonderful time.

When you want to eat a reliably delicious cake, this is the place to go. Every cake you try here will make you say "yum" every time. I ordered the chocolate tart (with a drink set) and the Mont Blanc tart (with a drink set). The interior of the restaurant is set up with tables spaced apart, creating a semi-private atmosphere. It feels like each table is separated by partitions. It's the perfect place to relax and chat comfortably.

・HARBS Strawberry Chocolate Cake (tax included 980 yen) - "A chocolate sponge cake with a hint of brandy, topped with plenty of whipped cream and large strawberries." There are so many strawberries on top! Plenty of whipped cream, a slightly brandy-flavored chocolate sponge cake, and custard cream go perfectly together! As always, it's a BIG size with a satisfying amount to eat!

I stopped by Herb's at Hankyu Sanbangai after work to quickly buy some clothes and then visited the cafe at night. I ordered the seasonal white peach rare cheesecake for 850 yen and a Ceylon tea with orange for 700 yen. The interior is chic and the classical background music is calming. The white peach compote on top of the rare cheesecake had the perfect balance of sweetness, making me feel happy.

I visited a famous shop known for its large cut cakes. It had been recommended by a friend and I finally had the chance to visit after 5 years. The display window was filled with many large whole cakes, just looking at them made me feel happy. I ordered a white chocolate cake and decaf coffee. The white chocolate cake had thinly sliced white chocolate on top, which was its distinctive feature. It was a sweet and satisfying cake, perfect for when you want to indulge in something sweet. The decaf coffee was comforting and had a clean taste. Since the cake was quite sweet, it was nice that refills were free up to one cup. The cake is quite large, so I recommend sharing it. It's a good place to visit when you're craving something very sweet. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like eating a big cake, so I visited a cake shop! It had been a while since I last went there, so I asked, "Didn't you have a cake set?" The response was a bit irritated, "No, please order items individually!" Maybe it's a common question, but still, the way it was said was not very nice. Too bad. The cashier on the way out was very friendly though. - Strawberry Tart 830 yen: When I removed the silver paper, the tip fell off, so the photo looks like it's halfway eaten. - Irish Cream Cheese Cake 730 yen: Rich and delicious cheese cake, not flashy in appearance but has a good flavor. - Hojicha Honey (ice cream) 800 yen: I chose ice cream without thinking, but the honey didn't mix in at all and it felt weird going down the throat. - Earl Grey Tea (ice tea) 750 yen: Just average!

For some reason, I felt like eating something sweet, so I bought a cake at HARBS on the basement floor of Hankyu Sanbangai and ate it at home. I purchased the Crepe Alacarte for 780 yen (tax included) (1/10 slice). It was definitely worth the price of 780 yen, as it was delicious without any disappointments! I enjoyed it very much. We went to "Herbs" in Hankyu Sanbangai in Osaka Umeda, a cake shop that my daughter loves. It was just past 1 pm at the end of the year, and many cakes such as strawberry shortcake were sold out, which was a bit disappointing, but we decided to order two different cakes this time. My son only had a drink, "Apple Juice 780 yen". It's quite expensive, but the apple juice is made with apple juice ice, so it doesn't dilute and remains delicious until the end. My daughter had "Irish Cream Cheese Cake 730 yen" and "Muscat Jasmine 800 yen". The cheese cake she had been curious about was rich and tasted even better with the whipped cream on top! It was a bit heavy for me to eat a whole piece, but sharing half was perfect. I had "White Chocolate Cake 730 yen" and "Ice Earl Grey 750 yen". I had been curious about this white chocolate cake, but always ended up ordering the classic shortcake or milk crepe, so I had never tried it before. It was incredibly delicious! The sponge cake with a hint of rum, finely crushed almonds, and white chocolate went really well together. It seems to be a seasonal item, so I would like to get it for takeout again. The downside is that it is a one drink per person policy, and ordering a drink more expensive than the cake is required, but the cakes are undeniably delicious.

After lunch, I had an early tea time with a chestnut tart. Chestnut cakes like Mont Blanc are always charming in the autumn season. The creamy tart with the crust makes you feel happy when you take a bite. The Black and White Chocolate Cake is rich with intense chocolate used in both the cream and sponge cake. The Cheesecake has a two-layered combination of cream cheese and mousse, with a mild sweetness that allows you to enjoy it until the very end. I had organic coffee for my first cup and decaf for the refill. Both had a balanced bitterness and aroma, and the generously poured coffee can be enjoyed black. If you visit at 3 o'clock, there will definitely be a line, so I recommend going earlier.

Second time at Herbs! Last time I bought takeout for Christmas, so this time I ate in and had the chestnut tart! This was seriously delicious, I can't believe it. I thought I didn't like rum, but it was totally fine and the chestnuts were so good! I want to come back again!
