One of the challenges of Universal compared to Disney is the difficulty in finding restaurants, including snacks. The number of restaurants is limited, and the operation doesn't seem as efficient as Disney, resulting in unusually long wait times. Unlike attractions, there are few ways to avoid the wait, and unless you have an Express Pass or annual pass, re-entry is not allowed, making it difficult during the day. Despite the wait, "Boardwalk" feels a bit more bearable compared to other restaurants. However, the time it takes to get the food is slower compared to Disney, making me wonder if they could improve their operation. The friendly Osaka-style talk helps, especially in the heat, but the situation can be overwhelming, and I find myself silently urging them to hurry up with the service. I paid with QUICPay. A tasty soda overall. Despite the waiting time and operational issues, the delicious pizza and drink made me overlook it, falling under Universal's spell. The area of Amity Village at USJ has a nice atmosphere that many people seem to enjoy. It feels like you are on a trip. The prices may be a bit high, but the food is quite delicious. If it were in the city, you might not go, but you can enjoy a beer or highball while having a tasty meal. A shop in front of JAWS where you can take commemorative photos! I intended to have a light lunch with pizza for 900 yen, but it turned out to be quite substantial! The dough is thick and the toppings are generous, so it feels like a great deal. You can share two different types with two people and enjoy it without getting tired until the end! They also have JAWS drinks at this time of year! For ¥650, you get jelly at the bottom, soda as the drink, and a shark gummy on top. The presentation is so cute and really captures the theme.

While wandering around, we decided to have lunch at this pizza place we passed by. We ordered pizza, soup, and beer for 1660 Jaws... Jaws? I see, that's how they say it... It doesn't really resonate with us, haha. We sat down and ate. The pizza was big and satisfying. It had a strong tomato flavor with plenty of cheese, very delicious. It goes well with Tabasco sauce to add some spice, which also goes well with the beer. You can choose between clam chowder and minestrone soup, and I chose the minestrone. It was also delicious and warmed me up. Beer tastes the best when you drink it at a place like this.

Perhaps it was because we were near the JAWS shop, but the staff at the store had "JAWS" at the end of their sentences, which made us laugh. While waiting for our drinks to be ready, they engaged us in various conversations and made us feel warm inside. It was a fantastic customer service experience. Now, my husband ordered the Snoopy dessert drink for 580 yen, which was quite cute and sweet! It's so hot and even though I try to hydrate, I can't seem to cool down. That's when shaved ice comes to the rescue! Yes, it helps cool down your body from the inside. I had the Tropical Flappe Blue Hawaii for 700 yen. Shaved ice is the way to go! It makes your head feel all cool, and lowers your body temperature. Although my tongue and lips turned blue from the Blue Hawaii, it looks refreshing. It had small pieces of pineapple and star-shaped nata de coco on top, which looked cute. It was just the right size to share with two people. This place has plenty of terrace seats where you can relax. The view of the lagoon from the back is nice too. Now, let's go watch the ONE PIECE show next! We got the cheapest seats for 1980 yen, but we couldn't fully immerse ourselves as part of the Straw Hat Pirates. Thank you for the meal! ❤️
