The shop is located at Hankyu Umeda Main Store B2F. This time, I was mainly going around bread shops, but I also wanted to visit this shop. All the products seem to be popular. I made a reservation to receive the Omelette Boule on the last day. Purchased items: Omelette Boule (5 pieces), Galette Echire White Day limited set. Omelette Boule (5 pieces): The fluffy baked biscuit dough has a soft texture and a refreshing aftertaste of butter that spreads in your mouth, leaving a delicious taste. Galette Echire White Day limited set: A gift from my husband. A set of Sable Chocolat Blanc, Galette Echire, and Sable Vanille. Galette Echire has a mysterious sensation of Echire butter dripping. When you bite into it, it crumbles softly. The intensity of the aroma and flavor, along with this sensation, is probably due to the high content of Echire butter. Sable Chocolat Blanc has white chocolate coating half of it. I like the texture, it's crispy. Sable Vanille has a crispy texture. It is moist, with a combined vanilla scent, making it a cookie that exudes gentleness. You can enjoy the deliciousness of Echire butter. However, since all the products seem to have a high content of butter, it may be best to eat them little by little to fully appreciate the delicious taste. The products have a refreshing flavor, so be careful as they may become a bit overwhelming. The White Day limited set received from my husband was also enjoyed little by little. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Echire Marche au Boule on the B2 floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store to buy a souvenir for my destination. I went there almost as soon as it opened, but there were already several people in line, more like a crowd. I bought the Choux Boulle, of course. The recipients at my destination were very pleased with it.

The choux au craquelin is delicious. The strong buttery cream and fragrant pastry complement each other perfectly. I can't wait to spread the salted butter I bought on toast. I'm really curious about the pistachio flavor that I didn't get this time. Will definitely revisit.

Originally, the style was to line up according to the finishing time. However, recently it has changed to reserving a purchase and receiving it on a specified date and time slot one week later. It's better this way because you can make sure to get what you want. This omelette is perfect for tea time! The surrounding sponge is lightly sweet and fluffy, with a buttery flavor and a subtly sweet and not too heavy cream... delicious! You can also buy delicious baked goods made with plenty of Echire butter, so I will definitely visit again.

While exploring the department store basement, I suddenly felt like eating it again after a long time and there was no line, so I decided to stop by. I have bought it in Tokyo before, so I thought they would all taste the same, but the staff said, "The shape of the Sablé Echiré and Galette Echiré may be the same, but the taste is slightly different depending on the region." With that, I was curious to try it, so I bought the Galette. Maybe because I couldn't eat it right away, I couldn't really tell the difference...haha. But, it's delicious when you eat it occasionally.

I went to a suit shop on the basement 2nd floor of Hankyu Department Store in Osaka Station. It's a popular store among the top 100 stores, and there is always a long line. I managed to get in right after it opened on Saturday. I bought a limited edition shoe cream puff called "Shoe Pistachio." The cream was rich and the pistachio flavor paired well with it, making it a delicious cream puff! It was worth the wait!

This pound cake from Hankyu Department Store can only be purchased through internet reservation. I enjoy Échiré sweets because they allow you to savor the taste of butter without overpowering artificial flavors. This pound cake also has a strong buttery aroma. When you eat it, you can taste the simple flavors of butter, wheat, and eggs. It has a moderate level of sweetness. I would recommend enjoying it with unsweetened coffee or tea. It is smaller than I expected, so the cost-performance ratio is a bit low. However, for Échiré, this might be expected. The taste is one that you may crave from time to time.

Crispy and slightly thick crust with nuts as an accent, generously filled with Échiré butter cream for a smooth and rich taste. The bite-sized pastries are so delicious that you'll want to have more after just one. In addition to the choux pastry, they also offer a stylish tin of Échiré & Suprême Galette for ¥2808, Échiré & Florentine Sablé for ¥3996, and luxurious ice cream made with about 20% Échiré butter. The desserts using Échiré butter come in cute packaging, making them perfect as souvenirs.

Visited the shop after 2 pm in search of choux buns. Unfortunately, they were sold out. Instead, I bought pistachio choux buns. You can really taste the pistachio and buttercream. The choux pastry had a mild impact compared to the richness of the cream. They were small and easy to eat, perfect as a souvenir.

Not persistent, with a refreshing aftertaste, buttercream ( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ ) Found at the Hankyu Department Store B2. I heard that this shop is only available in Tokyo and Osaka, so I decided to give it a try. This time, I bought an omelette and a Quinamaman Bleu. When I think of buttercream, I usually imagine something hard and overly sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised by the omelette! The sweetness of the sponge and cream was exquisite! Even though I'm not a fan of overly sweet desserts, I was able to finish it in no time. The Quinamaman Bleu had a shiny appearance, with a crispy coating on the outside. Inside, it was moist and buttery, and with every bite, you could taste the flavor of butter. It was sweet but not overpowering. They also have a Quinamaman Verte that is paired with salt for a different taste. You can even pre-order the omelette to avoid it selling out, which is convenient. Next time, I definitely want to try their choux cream. Thank you for the delicious treats!

I visited "Echire" at the Hankyu Umeda store's basement floor after a long time. I bought a box of 6 Chou Bourre for ¥1620 including tax, and a box of 6 Chou Pistache for ¥1836 including tax. I also got a Quinamman Verre (salted) for ¥465 including tax, and a Brioche Echire for ¥497 including tax. I was lucky to be able to purchase without waiting in line.

It's past noon, but I happened to find it being sold. If it's being sold, I have to buy it. When I get home, I'll open it right away and eat it. I prefer it a little harder, so even though I had pistachios in the fridge, I ended up eating what I'm used to. I would be happy if they could make a box with half and half, but eating two boxes is a bit much.

Today, I purchased some souvenirs for home here. I chose the Sablé Echire and Galette Echire because they looked delicious. You can buy just one if you want. The butter and pâté also looked tasty, but I decided not to get them this time. The souvenirs were well-received. Thank you for the meal.

Sublé Echire 281 yen, Galette Echire 281 yen, Brioche Echire 497 yen, etc. This shop sells the famous Echire butter. Each product highlights the taste and aroma of butter, especially the Sublé which has a crispy texture. With each bite, you can truly savor the rich taste of butter, making it a luxurious and delicious cookie.

After having lunch on 3rd Street, I headed to the basement floor of Hankyu Department Store. My destination was a shop that had caught my eye before, but I always avoided it because of the crowds. However, on this day, there were fewer people, so I had the chance to look around without feeling rushed. After some deliberation, I decided to purchase the following sweets: - Choux Bour (1,620 yen) - Sablé Échiré (281 yen) - Galette Échiré (281 yen) *tax included The choux pastry can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature, so I opted to have it chilled. It was a cream puff filled with rich buttercream but surprisingly light and easy to eat. Once I had one, I couldn't resist reaching for another. The option to buy just one piece of the sablé and galette was convenient. Both had a gentle flavor of Échiré butter, making it a luxurious snack time. It was a satisfying treat. Thank you for the meal!

I bought two items as souvenirs for my parents' house: a Quignette Amande Vert and a Chou Bour. The Quignette Amande has a buttery aroma similar to a croissant, with a soft and chewy texture. It has a mild sweetness and a well-balanced flavor. The Chou Bour has a smooth melt-in-your-mouth texture when brought to room temperature. Even when taken out of the refrigerator, it was delicious, but reaching room temperature made it truly outstanding. It has a subtle sweetness and a rich buttery aroma, making it an elegant treat. Although it costs 1500 yen for six pieces, it exudes a sense of luxury beyond its price. I recommend it for souvenirs or personal enjoyment.

Tabelog Sweets WEST Top 100 Shops 2022 Ranked 31st out of 100 in Western Japan Tabelog Overall Rating: 3.76 Visit Date: Friday, August 11, 2023, 14:00 Takeout Contents: - Quigny Aman Blue 465 yen (last one available for sale) - Galette Echire 281 yen - Sable Echire A few years ago, I visited with the intention of buying an omelette around the end of the year, but was disappointed to find a sold-out sign and left empty-handed. This time, I visited for revenge a little earlier than last time! I knew that omelettes could be purchased through reservations, but to my surprise, they had already transitioned to complete reservation sales with no on-the-spot sales. Well, there was some resignation about giving up on buying the omelette, so it wasn't too shocking, but... Today's choux pastry is sold out! Brioche Echire is sold out! Only one Quigny Aman left! Both of the items I originally intended to buy were already sold out, and one was left... Well, after learning about the deliciousness of Echire butter in several of the top 100 sweets shops, I decided to visit, but I was surprised by the popularity! I reluctantly took home the last Quigny Aman and tried the Galette Echire and Sable Echire, but my expectations were way off. Quigny Aman Blue had a crispy outer layer and a somewhat hard texture, with a sweet caramel-like sweetness at the bottom, and a flaky pastry inside with butter oozing towards the center. This was the deliciousness I was looking for! It was worth visiting just to get my hands on this. The Galette Echire and Sable Echire are tasty cookies, but nothing particularly memorable. It seems that the canned versions are popular, but they just seem like ordinary cookies to me. If you're looking for popular items like the omelette or palmier, I recommend going early in the morning.

The children gathered and received a department store gift certificate from my wife for shopping. We went to Hankyu Department Store to buy pork cutlet, but there was no line, so we bought Quenivel 2 and Queniblue 2 as souvenirs instead. We couldn't find any meat snacks, so we ended up buying one for 430 yen each. It was expensive, but my wife and daughter enjoyed it. My daughter also got some souvenirs, and I had it with coffee in the morning. It was too sweet for my liking.

I visited during regular opening hours. There was a separate line for Échiré at the department store. I got the Galette Échiré and Sablé Échiré to go. Both had a nice buttery aroma and were delicious. Next time, I want to try the Chou Bourlée and some of the items available by reservation.

When it comes to Échiré, they have limited edition items at each branch. One of these limited items, the Échiré Omelette Brioche, can be reserved starting a week in advance. So, before my trip to Osaka, I made a reservation and got ready to try it out! The Omelette Brioche is not that small, so it was a bit of a challenge to buy just 5 of them. Since it was just my wife and I on the trip, we only needed one to share, but oh well. We took it back to our hotel, had dinner, and then enjoyed it in our room. The waffle dough with plenty of Échiré butter cream was quite different from the Échiré Bombe that I often eat in Ikebukuro. The cream in the Omelette Brioche felt more dense. Maybe it's the compatibility with the dough, or maybe the cream itself is different, I'm not sure. With 5 pieces in a box, it's quite filling for a snack. Considering the compatibility of the dough and cream, I think I would stick with cream puffs here. Well, I thought I should give it a try at least once, so let's call it a win.

There was a crowded shop on the 2nd floor underground of Hankyu. After much deliberation, I ended up buying a Brioche Escargot and a Chou a la Creme. The salted Brioche Escargot seems to be popular. The texture is similar to a Financier? The Chou a la Creme had a cream cheese-like texture inside. I'm a bit scared to think about how high the calories must be.
