I had kushikatsu (cheese, wiener, beef, pork, chicken thigh, shumai, salmon tartare, quail), yakiniku (premium loin, premium kalbi, premium harami, thick-cut premium salted tongue), and doteyaki. I also had two draft beers and Black Nikka highballs. The cost performance of this yakiniku restaurant was quite good. Even though we ordered a lot, it was cheaper than expected. The Osaka specialty kushikatsu was so delicious that I could eat as many as I wanted. The doteyaki was also exactly to my liking. The quality of the yakiniku was high, and I would definitely want to visit this restaurant when I go to Osaka. The service from the staff was also good, and I could feel the warmth of Osaka's hospitality.

I used this restaurant for a monthly drinking party. We couldn't find a yakiniku restaurant open late around Tennoji or the zoo, so we happened to come across this place. It opened about a year ago. The meat was good, especially the Chateaubriand, which was tender and delicious, although it was a bit discolored. The Ichibo steak was okay for the price. The chunk of meat had a chewy texture. The chunk of meat yukhoe was raw and had a similar texture to the Ichibo steak. The Harami and upper Harami were decent. The rice was too hard for my liking. We tried other dishes that weren't pictured, but overall, it was a bit disappointing. The service from the staff was good, so we had a pleasant time. Despite my critical comments, we left full. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't know there was a yakiniku restaurant like this in the new world. The meat looks frosty and delicious. The taste is just delicious. It's more of a taste to eat slowly, rather than savoring it. There are also various drinks available, which is nice.

Discover a delicious meat restaurant near the symbol of Osaka, Tsutenkaku! It's a bit hidden and hard to find, but let's keep going inside. The restaurant is called Sumibi Yakiniku Kawakami. Inside, there are tables and tatami seating, and the menu is à la carte only. Now, let's order some food because we are hungry! - Kimchi assortment: Includes yam, Chinese cabbage, cucumber, and radish. They are well marinated, making you crave for rice. - Harami Tataki: Dip it in plenty of garlic and soy sauce for a delicious taste. - Negi Shio Tan: Plenty of green onions stuffed inside. It has become quite popular lately and looks visually appealing. - Kawakami's Recommended Chunk Meat: You can choose the weight from 100g to 300g and have it as steak or yukhoe. The staff can suggest having half of each if you can't decide. - Rib Roast Set Meal: Quickly sear it, dip it in egg sauce, wrap it with rice, and enjoy the deliciousness. - Upper Sirloin, Upper Harami, and Teppan: All have good meat quality and a nice balance of fat. - Tail Soup: Sometimes available by reservation only. It contains vegetables and meat, providing a comforting feeling. - There are not many reviews on Tabelog, but the meat was delicious, and the restaurant had customers. It seems like things are slowly returning to normal. I hope the pandemic ends soon, and we can go back to our usual daily lives. Overall, it was a delightful meal at Sumibi Yakiniku Kawakami.

It is located at the foot of Tsutenkaku. It may be a little hard to find as it is slightly off the main street lined with restaurants. This was my first visit. It seems to have opened recently, but it was quite busy. As soon as you enter the restaurant, there are table seats in front and to the left. There are tatami mat seats in the back on the right. The restaurant is medium-sized. The grilling equipment is a gas stove with ceiling exhaust. There are many young staff members, and their energetic attitude is impressive. When they are energetic, the alcohol also flows quickly. The draft beer is 440 yen, and I switched to barley shochu with soda for 440 yen later on. I ordered the following: Thick-cut premium salted tongue for 1980 yen, assorted grilled meat for 2500 yen, assorted hormones for 1380 yen, top skirt steak for 970 yen, assorted kimchi for 770 yen, assorted namul for 660 yen. I also ordered some recommended hidden menu items. The sauce has a slightly strong flavor that would appeal to people of all ages. Considering the quality of the meat and the prices, I think the content was quite good. It is a type of restaurant that is not found in Shinsekai, so it may be popular among the locals. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the meat is delicious. I recommend the menu where you wrap yam with tongue, but the sweet and spicy flavor of the Yukkejang Ramen was excellent!

The yakiniku restaurant was extremely delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and even sprayed Fabreze at the end. The harami was tasty, but the sirloin was the best.
