So, I went to Itoshima Shokudo \( ö )/ It used to be by the sea, but it seems like they relocated and renovated because now it's in the town center! I had the Special Deluxe Seafood Bowl. It had crab, shrimp, sea urchin, salmon roe, and even fatty tuna!! The fatty tuna was so thick and luxurious, I was amazed! It just melted in my mouth! The sea urchin was also delicious with no fishy taste! They had a special sweet soy sauce for the bowl on the table, typical of Kyushu. It was thick and sweet, even when poured over rice, it was delicious (*´◒`*) The miso soup was also sweet and flavorful with a seafood broth. I went around 11:40 on a weekday and luckily there was no wait, probably because a typhoon was approaching. Normally, there is a line around lunchtime. There are other stores nearby, but I wanted to drive, so I went to the main branch of Itoshima Shokudo. There were about 20 people waiting in line, but the turnover is fast. You can order more water yourself and pay with a card on your smartphone at the table. The second parking lot is 100m ahead from the store, across the first traffic light, you can park in the parking lot before the pachinko parlor. The taste and prices are like those in tourist areas.

After playing an early morning round of golf, I decided to visit Itoshima Shokudo since I was already in Itoshima. Despite the long lines on weekends, I was able to get a table in about 10 minutes. The fresh and generous portions of sushi overwhelmed me. I'm glad I came. Thank you for the meal.

On the second day of my trip to Fukuoka, I decided to visit Itoshima for sightseeing and to enjoy some delicious seafood by the sea. I had planned to go to Itoshima Shokudo at Itoshima Highland, but it seems I mistakenly set the navigation to the main branch instead. I arrived before the restaurant opened and was disheartened to see a long line, but I decided to wait it out. It was worth the wait as I was impressed by the delicious seafood bowl.

Today is Chirashi Sushi Day, so I went to Itoshima Shokudo for the first time. I arrived around 12:30 and there were about 3 groups ahead of me. However, the turnover was quick and I was able to get inside soon. I placed my order using a QR code. It only took about 3 minutes for my food to arrive. So fast! Of course, I ordered the Chirashi Don (1,800 yen). Personally, I think it would be even better with vinegar rice. (in the style of a Kogane auntie)

I arrived around 11:30 AM on a weekday. Since the restaurant opened at 11 AM, there was no wait to be seated. I ordered the salmon and ikura rice bowl, while my wife ordered the tuna and salmon ikura rice bowl. Our food arrived in about 3 minutes, which was surprisingly fast! The portion size was impressive, and the ikura was rich and flavorful while the salmon and tuna melted in our mouths. We were completely satisfied with the speed, portion size, and taste of the food. I deducted one star because I found it difficult to leave food behind, most likely due to the high turnover rate. Also, the soy sauce was quite sweet, which may not appeal to everyone. I personally like sweeter Kyushu soy sauce, but this was on the sweeter side. The interior of the restaurant was bright and spacious, even at the counter. Wet towels were provided in advance, water was served promptly, and orders were quickly delivered. The sushi was thick and very delicious. There are many delicious options in Itoshima, but they tend to be crowded, so a fast turnover like this makes it easier to visit.

I love salmon, so I had the salmon and ikura bowl. The fish was fresh and the portion size was generous! My only disappointment was that the rice could have been cooked more carefully to make the seafood bowl delicious for anyone who eats it. The prices for all the menu items are somewhat high, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is oddly like a food court. Nonetheless, I think the lively atmosphere is nice. It's always crowded whenever I go, but I really appreciate that they have a spacious parking lot nearby!

The group that was staying overnight had to return from Fukuoka Airport, so we drove to Itoshima. Our destination was Itoshima Shokudo! We were seeking the beautiful sweet shrimp bowl that is hard to come by elsewhere... We rented a car at Fukuoka Airport and first went to see Angel's Wings and the Couple Rocks, then headed to Itoshima Shokudo. We arrived at 10:58, aiming for 15 minutes before opening, but we were a bit late... There was a long line~ but we just made it in for the first round. Five of us squeezed around a small table on tatami mats, which was quite tight. We ordered using a QR code, but each person can order separately and the bill is combined for the table. After much deliberation, I stuck to my initial plan and got the sweet shrimp bowl (1600 yen including tax), and since I missed out on fried food the day before in Karato...
