Visited PAPMA, a tofu smoothie shop I've been wanting to go to for a while during my Spartan Race expedition in Osaka. The shop is run by the parents of Spartan Race SGX Nakano. They opened two years ago and have managed to survive through the pandemic. I ordered the Berry Trio, which was decided before entering the shop. The smoothie was served in a timely manner. Although the prices are a bit high, the portion size is generous, making it worth the price. As someone who recently switched to plain protein, I found the smoothie very much appreciated. It's not too sweet, so I enjoyed it until the last sip. It's also recommended to drink after a workout. They also have options like banana and anti-aging sesame. PAPMA is also available in pouches for home consumption. Definitely give it a try. Thank you for the meal! ^_^

A somewhat surprising smoothie shop run by a couple. I ordered the banana smoothie this time, and it was surprisingly easy to drink. It had a slight taste of tofu, but the flavor of banana and the hidden taste of nata de coco were cleverly combined to make it easy to drink. At first, I thought it was a bit expensive, but considering the creativity and the healthiness that smoothies are supposed to have, it was totally worth it in terms of cost performance. When I visit Amerikamura or Horie again, I would like to stop by this nice shop.

The location is in Minami Horie with trendy surrounding shops, and the Papuma shop itself is also stylish. Upstairs, there is a personal gym called Osakafitnesshub run by their son. I have tried almost all the smoothie menu and the flavors are not too sweet, letting the natural taste of the ingredients shine through. It's addictive and makes you want to come back for more while you're still drinking. The owners, the father and mother, are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a try.
