This is a confectionery workshop from Yufuin at Deitos in Hakata Station. I visited Hakata Station on this day, so I decided to try their Castella sweets. Cup Yufuin Castella for 594 yen... This is an original Castella from Yufuin called "Yufuin Goemon", which is made by adding an original twist to the authentic Taiwanese Castella using ingredients from Oita. It is a convenient sweet treat in a cup.

I bought a trifle with castella topped with strawberries and a half-baked cheesecake! The half-baked cheesecake was so delicious that I wanted to eat a whole one. The trifle with castella looked great in photos. It was almost a shame to destroy it. It seems they also have it at Fukuoka Airport. I hope they come to the Kanto region too. I'll be waiting. I want to buy it again when I go to Fukuoka and Oita!
