I was drawn in by the sign for Ezo Kama-meshi, and upon entering, I was seated with a view of Lake Toya. I ordered the Kama-meshi with sea urchin, crab, and salmon roe, but they were out of salmon roe so I got sea urchin and crab instead. The portion of rice was generous and there were plenty of ingredients, making it delicious.

Lake Toya Onsen Street has a somewhat lonely atmosphere, and this shop also gave me a bit of a "is it okay?" feeling from the outside... but the kettle rice was very delicious!! The menu is not very extensive... in fact, there are only a few types of kettle rice, but they are filled with plenty of ingredients and have a good dashi flavor. The inside of the shop is clean and tidy in an old-fashioned way, and the staff were friendly. There were hardly any customers, but it turned out to be an unexpected hidden gem. The cost performance is also good and worth it. It's a reasonable shop to use when sightseeing around Lake Toya.

I stopped by when sightseeing at Lake Toya. The entrance and exterior were plain, giving a bit of a doubtful impression, but inside it was clean despite being old. The regular kettle rice dishes were reasonably priced in the 800 yen range. Even though it seemed a bit run-down for a tourist spot, the prices were fair. Honestly, I had no expectations because it was a plain restaurant, but the food was delicious. I think the cost performance was very good. Especially, the scallop kettle rice was amazing!! The menu only had a few types of kettle rice, but I was quietly satisfied. The staff were kind too~
