Last time I came here, I didn't know the opening hours had changed, so I had to wait. I had seafood bowl last time, but this time I was interested in a menu item, so I drove on the regular road to visit. It took me 90 minutes by car to get to Fukutsuji in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City. I had to save on toll fees. When I visit another day, the hybrid car's good fuel efficiency will come in handy. This time, I visited on a weekday around 12:00 pm and sat in a raised seating area. I ordered the sushi set meal for 1300 yen including tax (sushi, tempura, chawanmushi, side dish, miso soup included). For this price, the contents were luxurious. Having sushi and tempura is great. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The sushi on the plate included sea bream, yellowtail, octopus, bigeye tuna, and salmon, 6 pieces in total. The size was small, and the sushi rice was firmly packed. It seems like they use a sushi-making machine. The vinegar rice was slightly weak. I couldn't taste any sourness. Please think of the toppings as ordinary. The bigeye tuna was almost falling apart when served. The tempura was amazing. It included shrimp, kisu fish, eggplant, carrot, sweet potato pumpkin, and green pepper, a total of 7 items. The kisu fish tempura was big, but the texture felt like it was frozen. It lacked the fluffy feeling. The overall content was decent, but it felt like it was fried too much. I could eat it without any complaints. The side dish included chicken, konjac, wood ear mushroom, and edamame lightly seasoned. I wish they had informed me about the seasoning. The chawanmushi had peeled shrimp, shiitake mushroom, fish cake, and ginkgo nuts. I felt a strong seasoning at the bottom of the container. Overall, this was the content, but I wonder if it's appropriate to call it a sushi set meal. The sushi seems disappointed. Maybe a sushi and tempura set meal would be better. The tempura was decent, but the sushi left a lot to be desired.
