[July 17, 2020 First Visit] This is my first business trip to Fukuoka since February. I have stayed at 26 hotels in Fukuoka and a total of 191 hotels nationwide. This hotel falls under the vacation rental (rental villa) category, and its concept is "to welcome the best morning." While the purpose of staying at a hotel varies for each individual, I believe that the longest time spent is sleeping. This hotel focuses solely on providing a comfortable sleep experience to welcome the best morning, making it the best hotel practicing the principle of selection and concentration. It is located just a 3-minute walk from Gofukumachi Station, but it takes less than 10 minutes on foot from the Hakataza exit of Nakasu Kawabata Station, making it convenient to get off at Nakasu Kawabata Station. It is located right near "Brazileiro," Fukuoka's oldest cafe, but its exterior looks like a regular apartment building, so it might be easy to overlook. It has an atmosphere like a home apartment, almost like a company's corporate housing. It opened in May 2020, so it is a very clean hotel. [What's great about it] 1. The front desk service is outstanding. 2. The air in the space is very clear. 3. The room air conditioning uses a new system called F-CON, making it comfortable. 4. The bed is very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. 5. The shower head is carefully selected, providing a pleasant bathing experience. 6. The linens are clean. 7. The drinks in the refrigerator are complimentary, which is a nice touch. 8. It is surprisingly quiet. 9. Breakfast is served through in-room dining, offering a choice between Japanese and Western options, providing a luxurious feeling. [Downsides] 1. There is no view, but natural light comes in. Well, even the nearby Hotel Okura doesn't have a good view... 2. It could be mistaken for a fashion hotel, but once you step into the room, it doesn't matter at all. 3. There is no restaurant, but there are many great restaurants nearby, so dining is not a problem. 4. Breakfast is not a buffet. With the recent situation, buffets have been discontinued, and in-room dining is something that only small hotels can offer. It prevents overeating as well. 5. There is no pool or gym. The purpose is to sleep well. [Meals] Breakfast is delivered to your room at the designated time. I chose the Japanese option. - Onigiri: Made with pesticide-free brown rice from "Tenjozan" a traditional restaurant in Hakozaki. It was very delicious and surprisingly filling. - Miso soup: Dry, but made with Fukuoka-produced blend miso, Shiga Island natural wakame seaweed, vinegar soybeans soaked in brown rice vinegar, and pickled plum and pickled radish. It was very nourishing. [Final thoughts] This hotel offers a comfortable stay at less than half the price of Hotel Okura Fukuoka. If your goal is to sleep comfortably, then this hotel is highly recommended. It is still new and very clean. Above all, I was impressed by the new technology of the F-CON air conditioning system. I usually struggle with hotel air conditioning, feeling too cold or dry. I often fill the bathtub with hot water and sleep with the door open, but there is no need to worry about that here. The hotel staff is also very pleasant. Having stayed in 25 hotels in Fukuoka so far, I can say that this hotel is fantastic and I would like to come back again.
