There is a Seicomart located on the shores of Lake Toya. There are few dining options around here, and most places are closed on Sunday nights, so Seicomart is very convenient. I have used Seicomart many times, but the Peperoncino was surprisingly delicious and affordable. Highly recommended!

Creamy carbonara for 128 yen (excluding tax), Uonohana for 128 yen (excluding tax), and hand-rolled salmon with wasabi for 110 yen (excluding tax). Took a bus from Sapporo to Lake Toya. Located in the middle of the hotel district in Lake Toya Onsen, there is a Seikoma. Despite other convenience stores in the area, Seikoma is quite bustling due to its location. They also sell souvenirs. Not particularly hungry upon entering the store, I decided to try the pasta I had been curious about. Also ordered Uonohana and hand-rolled sushi. Enjoyed lunch on a bench with a view of the lake. The pasta I was interested in turned out to be just the right amount to satisfy my hunger. The taste of the white sauce was decent. Uonohana had a gentle flavor. Hand-rolled sushi was good even without soy sauce. The Seikoma journey is coming to an end soon...

Used for lunch. Visited with family. Some thoughts: - Located near Lake Toya. - Parking available. - Bought fried chicken. - High in protein. - Crispy outside, juicy inside. - Hot and fresh. - Delicious.

Seicomart Toyotomi Store, located about 6 km from JR Toyotomi Station. Seicomart is mainly found in Hokkaido, with stores also in Ibaraki and Saitama prefectures. They have a dominant market share in Hokkaido with 1030 stores, leaving the second-place Seven-Eleven far behind by almost 200 stores. Despite tough competition in Hokkaido where even the industry giant Seven-Eleven is closing stores, Seicomart continues to thrive, attracting 600 customers a day even in a remote town with a population of 1800. When traveling in Hokkaido, it's reassuring to find Seicomart even in the most desolate places. Around 6 pm, there were a few customers in the store. I noticed a great selection of 500 yen wines, all personally sourced by the buyer from wineries they visited. While the affordable wines were tempting, my favorite was the sparkling wine. Unlike regular convenience stores where they might not have it or keep it at room temperature, here they had over 15 chilled options in the fridge. It's amazing how much Hokkaido locals must love their bubbles! The variety includes Italian Spumante, Lambrusco, and French Champagne, making the selection impressive. I picked out a bottle I liked and made sure not to forget to use my Seicomart card at the checkout. Depending on the item, you can get a discount with the card. I used the Seicomart card I got from Seicomart Hoshino Store in Yashio, Saitama. The card comes in a regular size and a small one that can be attached to your house and car keys, making it easy to present. * Nadal Cava Brut 980 yen Made from grapes grown in their own vineyard. Aged for over 15 months, resulting in a rich flavor. Since there were no wine glasses at the inn, I enjoyed it in a teacup. If you think of it as a coupe glass without the stem shaped like Marie Antoinette's left breast, it's totally fine. This Spanish sparkling wine is crisp and dry, with fruity aromas of apples and pears.
