Today, I had bibimbap with hormone. There are different types of bibimbap, but I like the one with hormone the most. You can get refills for side dishes and soup. However, I feel like they stopped including maruchou since the price increase. That's disappointing. (¯―¯٥)

This is a Korean restaurant located between Yodoyabashi Station and Hommachi Station, just east of the Hanshin Expressway. It is on the 2nd floor of a building. I had the Kimchi Cheese Stone Bibimbap set meal for around 1,000 yen. It comes with 3 side dishes, soup, and salad. The hot stone pot creates crispy cheese at the bottom. - Fluffy Kansai http://fukunishi.blog.jp/archives/89862418.html

You can enjoy watching Korean star videos while eating. Everything is delicious. The Bibimbap is really tasty! The Sundubu is also delicious! The Samgyupsal is delicious too. You need to go early or late, otherwise you can't get in quickly. After 12 o'clock, there will be a line.

It's been a year and a half since I last visited this nearby restaurant. They were playing K-POP music at a pretty high volume (not really my thing, haha). I decided to try E-san's recommendation, the "stone pot bibimbap". I chose the "Bibimbap with bulgogi" which allows you to select from three different toppings: horumon, kimchi cheese, or bulgogi. It was ready in 8 minutes. The dish was filled with namul and bulgogi, and after mixing in the egg, it was quite a generous portion (equivalent to more than two rice bowls). I left feeling satisfied.

During the company's lunch break, I visited around 12:30 and waited for about 10 minutes to enter. The restaurant was bustling. [Order] Bulgogi set meal for ¥980, with unlimited rice refills. The Bulgogi had a rich flavor and was delicious. It also came with salad, kimchi, and soup. Thank you for the meal.

The temperature dropped, and it started to feel like winter, so I was in the mood for something hot for lunch. I was undecided on where to go, but then my junior colleague suggested, "How about Korean cuisine like stew?" which was a great idea, so I decided to visit this place that I had been curious about. ① Exterior, atmosphere, interior of the restaurant: Located about a 5-minute walk from Higobashi Station and within walking distance from Yodoyabashi Station. It is on the second floor of a small mixed-use building, so when visiting for the first time, look for the menu signboard on the street as a landmark. Inside the restaurant, there are table seats as well as counter seats, so you can feel comfortable dining alone. The interior is much newer and brighter than you would imagine from the exterior. K-POP music videos are playing on the TV monitors, creating a Korean-like atmosphere. ② About the food: The lunch menu offers a variety of classic Korean dishes such as "Samgyeopsal" and "Stone Bibimbap." I had a hard time choosing, but I ordered the "Sundubu set meal." You can choose from seafood, hormone, and bulgogi as the main ingredients for the Sundubu stew. I chose hormone because it seemed to go well with the spicy soup. After a while, a large wooden tray with salad, rice, three types of side dishes, and a pot of Sundubu was served. The pot was boiling hot, so I had to be careful not to burn myself. I took a sip of the soup, and first, the aroma of sesame oil gently hit my nose, followed by the spicy taste of chili and the umami of seafood stock spreading in my mouth. The hormone was tender and fresh without any unpleasant smell. The sweetness of the fat melted into the spicy soup, creating a flavorful taste. Mixing it with the egg made it even more delicious, and the white rice went well with it. The side dishes such as bean sprout namul, cucumber kimchi, and grilled tofu were also satisfying. It's nice that you can get refills. After finishing everything, I was full and my body was warm. ③ About the staff's service: There were three female staff members, all of whom provided friendly and efficient service with a smile. Even after the lunchtime rush, customers kept coming in, so the seating was a bit delayed, which was a bit disappointing. However, overall, the service was pleasant and there was no unpleasant feeling. ④ About the cost-performance: I was able to enjoy a carefully made, piping hot Sundubu stew. The taste of the soup, the finishing of the ingredients, and the portion size were all satisfying. The bright atmosphere of the restaurant also added to the good cost-performance. ⑤ Other observations: It would be nice if there was ginseng chicken soup on the lunch menu.

There was a Korean restaurant opened on the second floor across from Kazutoyoshi. Of course, I went in right away. I love Korean food♡ Wow! The interior looked authentic with Kpop playing on a big TV. There was a great deal with Bibimbap and Sundubu set, but I couldn't eat that much so I opted for the Seafood Pokkum set for 980 yen. It was the right choice as the seafood - shrimp, squid, and scallops - had a crispy texture but were also tender. It had a decent level of spiciness that made the rice go down quickly, and I finished it in no time.

Around 11:45, I was the first one to enter the restaurant! Soon after, customers started pouring in, and in no time, the place was packed. It's amazing how quickly it filled up, but I guess that's typical of a business district. The gathering here is incredible, very popular! K-pop music videos were playing on the screen, but I didn't really understand them, sorry! There seemed to be some people who came for that, as there were many young women. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. My friend, who brought me here, said, "No matter what you choose, it's delicious!" There were 11 options plus a summer menu and a lunch menu to choose from - what a happy dilemma! After some deliberation, I asked the staff for a recommendation and ended up going with the Spicy Seafood Stir-fry Set (980 yen). My friend always goes for the Stone Pot Bibimbap Set (980 yen), apparently a regular here. The table had a pitcher of corn tea instead of water, which was a nice touch. Soon, the piping hot stone pot bibimbap and the sizzling seafood stir-fry arrived. The sauce was splattering, so they gave me a black apron - such a thoughtful gesture! When I exclaimed, "Looks delicious!" my friend scolded me, saying, "No, it's more than delicious!" It was my first time trying the seafood stir-fry, and the spicy kick paired with the seafood was fantastic! It might be too spicy for those who can't handle heat, but as someone who enjoys spicy food, I was completely satisfied (please use your discretion here, haha). The delicious spiciness was irresistible, and I couldn't help but mix it all up with the hot white rice - so good! You can have unlimited refills of rice, side dishes, and soup, but I couldn't manage any more. Already thinking about what to try next time - I might become addicted to this place! Apart from the stone pot bibimbap, they also offer takeout, which is great! The Yangnyeom Chicken is limited to 10 servings, it must be delicious... I keep thinking about it, I can't help it, I'm drooling. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It's hot again but I visited without much time in between. As announced, this time I had the Yukkejang set meal (950 yen). It uses the spicy miso called Tadegi, similar to Sundubu, but I wonder if the soup is different? The ingredients included glass noodles and shredded konjac. I ended up sweating a lot but finished it all, thank you for the meal! So far, the ranking is Kimchi Jjigae > Yukkejang > Sundubu. Next, I'm thinking of trying Bibimbap or Miso Jjigae. [Good points this time]: They actually accept PayPay at the register, and there was a corner for merchandise sales!

It's too hot to go far, so I decided to revisit this restaurant I liked last time. Despite the heat, I chose the Sundubu set meal (with hormone). You can choose from seafood, bulgogi, or hormone for the ingredients. Just like the Kimchi jjigae set meal last time, it comes with a mini salad, 3 side dishes, and rice. You can have unlimited refills of the side dishes and rice! Of course, it's mostly women around me. The Sundubu is bubbling and ready to eat! The result is that Kimchi jjigae is better than Sundubu. It would have been better if it had more flavor. However, compared to other restaurants (including the Korean restaurant in Hankyu Umeda), the Sundubu here is of a higher quality. I finished eating while sweating profusely, thanks for the meal. Next time, I'll probably order Yukgaejang from Wang Shou...

I often visit a restaurant located on the second floor of a building across from Mr. Kazuto's place, and it used to be a playful Chinese cuisine restaurant that closed down after only a year and a half. The new restaurant that opened on February 3, 2021, caught my attention for opening at such a time. I visited for lunch on a Saturday, and the menu was rich with options. The lunch set with kimchi stew caught my eye, priced at 890 yen. The restaurant had a K-POP music video playing on the screen, and there were only two staff members attending to one customer, a woman who seemed to like Korean culture. The interior had a large communal table and individual tables by the window. I decided to try the kimchi stew set for reconnaissance. The meal came with a cloth apron, three side dishes (egg, namul, chijimi), Korean seaweed, a small salad, rice, and the kimchi stew. The stew was very spicy, which I didn't expect. As a member of the "not good with spicy food" club, I struggled to finish it but found the flavor to be delicious. I had to eat the stew with rice or seaweed to balance out the spiciness. The side dishes were decent, and the seaweed was tasty. Despite the challenge of the spiciness, the meal was under 1,000 yen, making it cost-effective. I recommend it to those who enjoy spicy food. Next time, I might try the miso stew or sundubu.

The new restaurant that opened in February, welcoming with "Annyeonghaseyo", is located on the 2nd floor of the building across from the seafood restaurant Ichifuku. They accept cash, various cards, Merpay, PayPay, auPAY, and d payment. The signal for Docomo is somewhat weak. When I followed them on Instagram targeting lunch, they followed back, showing their sincerity. Around 1 pm on weekdays, there were 4 male and 4 female customers, a 5:5 ratio. The BGM in the restaurant was the latest K-POP with music videos projected on the wall. This time, I ordered the Yangnyeom chicken set, which came with 3 daily side dishes, rice, and soup. You can have seconds of the side dishes, which is a fantastic service. There was also cold corn tea on the table. The freshly fried fried chicken arrived in less than 5 minutes. "Yangnyeom" refers to a sweet and spicy Korean seasoning, with a sweet barbecue sauce flavor at first, a hint of garlic, and then the spiciness of chili peppers. The chicken, which was larger than expected, had 5 pieces, making me full without needing extra servings. It was a hot and humid day, but the air conditioning was working well, and they even gave me hot corn tea, which was a nice touch. They bid farewell with "Kamsahamnida". The restaurant's name means "Let's go eat rice today" in Korean, and the chef is said to be from Busan. The cozy atmosphere made me want to come back for more. Thank you for the meal!

It is located between Higobashi and Yodoyabashi. It used to be a Chinese restaurant, but now it has changed to a Korean restaurant. They offer about 10 lunch options where you can get rice and choose from 3 side dishes to refill. I chose Sundubu because it was a bit cold. Later I noticed they also had Yukgaejang, so I will try that next time. For Sundubu, you can choose from 3 types: Hormone, Seafood, and Bulgogi. I chose Seafood. I had to wait a bit because the orders were a bit delayed. The side dishes included oden, Korean seaweed, and pickled radish. There was also salad and rice served in a teacup. It was not a stone pot bibimbap. The seafood Sundubu had clams, shrimp, scallops, octopus, and squid. It also had glass noodles and was quite filling. I'm happy that there is a Korean restaurant nearby. Thank you for the meal!!!

Yodoyabashi to Higobashi ◇ Korean Cuisine ◇ [4-chome, Doshu-cho, Chuo-ku] Go north on the third street to the west of the intersection of Midosuji Doshu-cho 3, on the left side (above the parking lot) on the second floor, a restaurant called [Pabanki] opened in February after a Chinese bar that lasted about 1.5 years. There is a lunch menu sign on the first floor, currently open only for lunch from 11:00 to 14:00. ◆Samgyupsal set meal (980 yen) ◆Yukgaejang set meal (950 yen) ◆Bulgogi set meal (980 yen) ◆Sundubu set meal (980 yen) ◆Kimchi stew set meal (890 yen) ◆Yangnyeom chicken set meal (920 yen) ◆Miso stew set meal (890 yen) ◆Pork pokum set meal (920 yen) ◆Stone Bibimbap set meal (980 yen) Capacity for 20-30 people 11:05 am Two groups of three customers are seated first, and I am guided to a table for two people with my companion. I asked the staff for recommendations and ordered. The samgyupsal, a pork belly teppanyaki, arrived in 6 minutes. It includes onions, namul, and corn. There are three small side dishes like kimchi and a salad. The seaweed-filled soup has a unique flavor. You can have unlimited rice and soup refills. They provide aprons because the teppanyaki oil splatters, which is appreciated. Korean pop music is playing in the background, and there are six staff members (Japanese and Korean). The stone bibimbap ordered by my companion is quite generous in portion size, equivalent to about three rice bowls. "Thank you for the meal."
