This is my third visit to this restaurant. In the past, I had the option of having a hot pot with both "kombu dashi" and "tofu broth" in one pot. This time, the options were either "shabu shabu (kombu dashi)" or "sukiyaki". Of course, I could have both, so I asked for a pot with half sukiyaki and half kombu dashi. The vegetables included cabbage, mizuna, leeks, carrots, onions, chives, and komatsuna, as well as meatballs, konnyaku noodles, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, macaroni, udon, and Chinese noodles. The meat choices were beef and pork, all you can eat. The sauces available were ponzu and sesame, and there was also raw egg for sukiyaki. Rice and pickles were also provided. For dessert, there was all-you-can-eat soft serve ice cream. All of this for 1573 yen, with an additional 103 yen for the drink bar. The drink options were a bit limited, but considering the price, it was understandable. There was also a lunch set available for 980 yen, with all-you-can-eat rice. They kept changing things up a bit. The staff brought meat refills promptly, and in a world where most all-you-can-eat options are heavy on Western cuisine, this was a nice change with a variety of options.
