This is a yakiniku restaurant run by the meat shop "Nikuwa Kobe-ya" located in Kuromon Market, the kitchen of Naniwa. The first floor is the meat shop "Nikuwa Kobe-ya" and the second floor is the yakiniku restaurant "Kobe-ya". I visit here regularly with my colleagues, and the quality is top-notch as expected from a meat shop. They always provide fresh and delicious meat. The owner is also an interesting person, and the beautiful sisters who work part-time are friendly and always serve with a smile. I highly recommend the "tongue" and "harami". The tongue is just the right thickness and size, making it easy to eat even for women. As you can see from the glossy appearance in the photos, it is very fresh and delicious. The harami is a thick-cut type with exquisite marbling, and it is as delicious as it looks. Personally, the harami here ranks in the top 3 of my life. If you haven't been to this recommended yakiniku restaurant yet, please visit it at least once.

Yakiniku restaurant located in Kuromon Market. It's a favorite spot for my friends, but it was my first visit. The first floor has a butcher shop, and the second floor is where the yakiniku restaurant is located. I started with a highball and white kimchi. The kimchi here is delicious and I think I'm hooked. We had harami, salted tongue, mino, tsurami, red intestine, and a new one called urute. I usually only have harami and mino, but my friend loves horumon so today was all about horumon. The texture of the urute was interesting, crunchy and jagged. The harami was tender and tasty. The meat looked fresh and clean. We also ordered seafood chijimi with squid, and two salads - Kobe salad and cholegi salad. The dressing was so delicious that it disappeared quickly. We also had grilled vegetables with onions. For dessert, we had bibimbap and cold noodles. I like to add plenty of vinegar to my cold noodles, and the noodles here were just the way I like them, without any fruits. We drank a bottle of makgeolli and everyone enjoyed it. The total bill was around 6000 yen per person. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I went food hopping at Kuromon Market. I bought some delicious harami meat from the butcher shop downstairs and had it grilled right next to the shop. The price was reasonable and the meat was very tasty! I would like to try the yakiniku restaurant on the second floor next time!

I visited the delicious yakiniku restaurant Kobe-ya located inside Kuromon Market, so I would like to introduce it! The first floor is a butcher shop and the second floor is the yakiniku restaurant. Please climb the narrow staircase next to the butcher shop. Since it is a directly managed store, you can enjoy top-quality meat at a reasonable price. On this day, we enjoyed a special assorted platter, kimchi platter, and soup while having a draft beer. There are many tables, so it's okay for groups even though there are many tourists. I will definitely visit again when I go to Kuromon Market! Thank you for the delicious meal.

I saw it on TV and wanted to try it, so I rushed out. I made a phone reservation at 6:00 pm before leaving the house and entered the store after 6:30 pm! The interior of the store was clean, not smoky, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the meat came out quickly. I ordered loin, belly, top tongue salt, top harami, kimchi, wakame soup, and stone bibimbap. I also ordered drinks and rice. Everything was delicious, but the belly and top harami had great value for money!! It was a great value restaurant for 4 people in my family for 7600 yen. I will visit again!

Kuromon Market in Nipponbashi, Osaka. Recently, I have seen more inbound tourists from various Asian countries than Japanese people. While Kuromon Market is known for its seafood shops, this Kobe-ya shop offers excellent meat. I ordered a set menu, thinking that the quality might be lower than individual items, but I was pleasantly surprised. The kalbi, loin, and harami were all incredibly tender and delicious. I highly recommend visiting this great restaurant when you are in the Namba area. The restaurant is spacious and clean. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for the meal!

On April 25, 2015, I visited a seafood bowl at Fukahiro Shoten and then came to this restaurant. It is located inside Kuromon Market. The first floor is a butcher shop, and the second floor is a yakiniku restaurant. This restaurant has also been featured on TV. On the first floor, you can buy meat and have it cooked for you to eat standing up. However, if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal, I recommend the second floor. I ordered a sirloin steak for 760 yen, grilled vegetables for 626 yen, and a small portion of rice for 216 yen. On the first floor, they cook it for you on a hot plate, but on the second floor, you can grill your own meat on a grill, which I recommend. Now, the sirloin steak has arrived. It comes with fried garlic on top. When grilled and eaten, it was incredibly delicious, almost melting in your mouth. Not greasy, but refreshing, making you want to eat more and more. The vegetables were also tasty. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and provided good service. You can enjoy a high-level yakiniku restaurant experience at Kuromon Market without having to go all the way to Tsuruhashi. I highly recommend it.

I had planned to go eat skirt steak rice bowl, but it was fully booked so I had to look for another place... Usually, when this happens, it doesn't turn out well. It was a weekday night near the market, so the place was not very busy. I felt a bit uneasy. The staff's service was not the friendliest. I ordered the top-quality meat, but it was just average. The beef tripe sandwich was mostly just tripe. If you're expecting fatty meat, I recommend not ordering it. It cost a little over 7000 yen per person, and for those of us who like fatty meat, it was not satisfying and felt a bit overpriced. I won't be going back.

When I feel like eating meat, I always go to Kobe-ya. This time, I used it to celebrate my friend's birthday. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a meat shop in the Kuromon Market. As soon as you go up the narrow stairs, you will see a sign with the individual numbers of the meat used that day. The interior of the restaurant has box-shaped table seats and sunken hearth-style tatami seats. In addition to yakiniku, they also offer seafood and hot pot dishes! The meat, being Kobe beef, is all delicious (seasoned with salt and sauce). The offal dishes are also delicious. Personally, I love the fillet, tongue, sirloin, skirt, intestines, and sandmino. They also have a wide variety of rice dishes and noodles for the finishing touch, making it always difficult to choose!

When I was taken there by a friend before, there was a "full" sign on the restaurant's entrance, so we went to another place. This time, I went with a different friend who had made a reservation in advance, so we headed to the restaurant with peace of mind. When we arrived, there was once again a "full" sign displayed. It was Friday night, so I thought it must be crowded. We climbed the stairs, but to our surprise, about half of the seats were empty, and not many customers came in afterwards. The staff were busy and bustling, so maybe they really don't seat people without a reservation. There are table seats near the entrance and tatami rooms at the back. There is enough space for a large group to have a barbecue party, which seems like a great idea. The meat is all delicious, but the premium grilled meat is especially tasty. It's definitely worth the 1,300 yen price. I felt very happy and satisfied.

Within the Kuromon Market, I finally visited this shop that had caught my eye for a while. Despite it being 30 minutes before closing, they welcomed us without any unpleasant expressions. The staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service. We ordered thick-cut tongue, harami, heart, tsurami, Kobe-ya salad, and kuppah. The tongue was tender and delicious, though a bit greasy. The harami could have been a bit more tender. The heart was tasty without any unpleasant odor. The tsurami was delicious. The Kobe-ya salad was quite generous in portion, perfect for sharing among three people. The kuppah was personally to my liking, light and a perfect way to finish the meal with plenty of mushrooms. Some may find it a bit bland, though. We also had beer, and the total cost for two people was around ¥7000. It's a reasonably priced option for enjoying yakiniku occasionally.

The yakiniku restaurant inside Kuromon Market. The first floor is a butcher shop, and next to the butcher shop is a narrow staircase leading up to the yakiniku restaurant. The large curtain makes it easy to find. This is my second visit. Charcoal-grilled. I decided to try some good quality meat in small portions.
- Prime salted tongue: 1500 yen. The softest part of the tongue. The salt and pepper seasoning was a bit strong. The meat was very juicy due to being the prime cut.
- Grilled vegetable assortment: 580 yen. Cabbage, corn, eggplant, shishito peppers, pumpkin, onion, bell pepper.
- Premium triangular pork belly: 2400 yen. The most marbled meat. I chose salt seasoning. The meat was tender and the radish sauce added a refreshing touch.
- Grilled liver: 550 yen. Not too strong in flavor and had a soft texture.
- Premium tenderloin: 3000 yen. The most tender lean meat. I chose salt seasoning. It was easy to eat with minimal fat.
The meat was of high quality and delicious. It was just the way I like it with a mild saltiness. I also had a small serving of rice. I remember having bibimbap last time, which was like a vegetable salad. Today, I had rice, so I ended with sweet red bean ice cream. They serve lunch from 12 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. I haven't been there at night, so I don't know how many staff members there are, but during lunch, both this time and last time, the owner managed everything alone. Despite being alone, they were attentive to the customers, which I found impressive. It felt more comfortable than a restaurant with five part-time staff. If you feel like having meat at Kuromon, this is the place to go. Enjoy!

In Osaka Minami, there is a traditional market known as Naniwa's kitchen. This market has a long history and is always bustling with activity, especially in the early morning when many restaurants in Minami come here to buy ingredients. Recently, it seems to have become a popular spot for foreign tourists, with many Asian visitors enjoying the market. Among the shops in the market, there is a place called Kobe-ya, which sells meat on the first floor from 8:00 to 18:00, and turns into a yakiniku restaurant on the second floor in the evening. The meat here is really high quality and juicy, making it different from other yakiniku places. I recommend trying the "teppan" which is thick and tender. The regular meat is also delicious with a sweet taste. In addition to yakiniku, they also offer unique items like wagyu sushi and tonkotsu ramen. The market is located near Nipponbashi Station, just a short walk south from there.

Visited Nihonbashi Kuromon Market on the night of 07.12.07. This shop is located inside the market, with the first floor being a butcher shop and the second floor being a yakiniku restaurant. The shop is spacious with many tables. We started with a toast with raw meat, and each of us ordered our favorite meat. All the meats were marbled and tender, truly delicious. Since the shop is run by a butcher, there was nothing to complain about. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. The quality of the meat was top-notch and delicious. The side menu was also extensive and high-quality. The owner, who runs the place alone, has a pleasant personality and the atmosphere is cozy. The only downside is that the menu is not really suitable for solo diners. The meat platter starts at 7300 yen, which is too much for one person. It would be great if they had platters priced around 1000 to 1500 yen, even if it's a bit more expensive. Overall, it's a great place for groups of 2-3 people who want to enjoy delicious yakiniku.

I have been going to yakiniku restaurants with my family once a week since I was a elementary school student 45 years ago. My parents worked in Minami, so they ate out three times a week. Sushi, teppanyaki, yakiniku, kushikatsu & curry udon, and mamushi were our regular rotation. Forty-five years ago, the go-to place for yakiniku was Shokudoen in Soemon-cho, a well-known yakiniku restaurant. Until I was in my mid-40s, I had to eat yakiniku twice a month or I would experience withdrawal symptoms due to my love for meat. As the quality of Shokudoen's meat gradually declined, I started going to Ajioshi, Iroriya, and Shinra Kaikan in Tsuruhashi. When I moved to Nishinomiya, my favorite was Rinka in Ashiya, which unfortunately closed down a couple of years ago. I still wonder why it suddenly disappeared when it was so delicious. And now, my current favorite yakiniku place (I tend to keep my favorites a secret as they might get crowded if I mention them) is Kobe-ya, which I visited about a year ago with my family in Nihonbashi, near my parents' house. I didn't have high expectations based on the sign and atmosphere, but the wagyu beef was truly delicious. As I've gotten older, I'm not a fan of fatty cuts like loin or kalbi, but I still love the harami. The lean cuts like hirami are also great, and they even have cuts like haneshita and misuji. Overall, there's nothing to complain about. I think the yakiniku rankings in Minami are a bit too low for this place. I highly recommend trying it out.

I was taken to this restaurant for a reception. It's a yakiniku restaurant on the first floor of the Kuromon Market. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy good quality meat at a reasonable price, although I'm not sure about the prices myself. We started with a toast with beer, and a platter of kimchi. The kakuteki was delicious! The kimchi was not too spicy, suitable for Japanese taste. The yukhoe was also tasty with a nice sesame oil flavor. Then, the meat arrived! The premium harami was incredibly delicious. The fillet and other cuts were also excellent. We also ordered the chige hot pot, which was spicy. The tofu and other ingredients were not spicy, but the soup was overwhelmingly hot. I'm not sure about the prices, but the taste was satisfying. It would be nice if they had more rare cuts of meat to choose from, maybe it's a secret menu item?

Whenever my family wants to have yakiniku together, we always go to Kobe-ya. We have become regulars here and have been well taken care of by the master and the staff! It's just a regular butcher shop downstairs, but if you climb the stairs next to the butcher shop, you'll find a yakiniku restaurant. As you climb the stairs, you'll see a wall lined with autographs of celebrities! This place was even featured on a TV show before. And now, onto the most important part - the food is absolutely delicious, no complaints at all! It's a bit of an upscale yakiniku restaurant, I would say. They have a wide variety of side menu items, including the Kobe-ya special ramen! Ramen lovers will be thrilled! My mother loves their ramen here. I believe they had about three different kinds. They also serve hot pot dishes. And, the highlight of this place - gyu sashimi! I had never seen this at a yakiniku restaurant before and was surprised to see the meat in a pink color! It melts in your mouth and is so delicious! Truly a reflection of the fact that the first floor is a butcher shop. Even the seafood here is fresh and delicious! My favorite, the raw liver, was also pink and very satisfying! The grilled items like harami and rosu are great, and you can have them with sauce or salt upon request. The gyu tataki is also delicious, and most importantly, the side menu has a variety of options that are all tasty! They have a good selection of drinks too! The staff is very polite and accommodating, even with young children, so parents with little ones can feel at ease. However, since it's a popular spot for regulars, I recommend making a reservation to avoid long wait times. Fresh and upscale meat! Give it a try!
