Daily lunch set for 650 yen. Today's set included fried horse mackerel, two shrimp fries, and a jumbo croquette. The side dish of chicken vinegar was also delicious. It was quite a generous portion and I was very satisfied! During lunchtime, you can get extra rice for free. The photo shows a regular portion (lol). The menu is extensive, and the fried dishes have a crispy texture and delicious flavor. I definitely want to go back again!

I have visited this restaurant several times since my first visit. The meals are too much for elderly people like my mother, even when ordered in a small portion. I once tried buying a bento box, but it contained the same amount of food as dining in. When I requested for the daily bento box to have elderly-friendly dishes like simmered dishes, they were accommodating and everyone was happy. They always recommend their self-serve coffee. Many eateries in this area do not last long, but I hope this one does well. For lunch, I like to eat heartily, and this place seems to cater to that need. They offer a variety of set meals like simmered dishes and grilled fish. Today, I indulged in the Mixed Fry set meal with fish fry, croquette, and shrimp fry. The fried items may not be freshly made in the store, but the portion is generous with plenty of cabbage. It satisfies my craving for a hearty meal. They mentioned that the simmered set meal changes daily, so I am curious about that too. The parking is spacious, and it is located right behind Iizuka Hospital, making it convenient for visitors to drop by.

It's a shop that opened in March. It was rainy in Chikuhō Iizuka all day, but I still went to "Aozora Shokudo" with a blue sky. Today's daily special was saba (mackerel) simmered and pumpkin stew set meal. The saba may look small, but it's a good size. The daily special comes with pumpkin stew. There's a generous amount of pickles, which can be a side dish on its own. During lunch hours, they offer free extra rice. The saba is sweet and tender, making it easy to eat with rice. The chicken, also cooked tenderly, is delicious. The simmered egg is sweet in flavor. Coffee after the meal is self-service. Feel free to help yourself. The restaurant can accommodate around 60 to 70 people. Today's meal was the daily special, and I look forward to the next one.
