I always visit Sakaisuji Hommachi store, but this day it was full and couldn't get in. The staff recommended me to go to Shinsaibashi, so I went there. The restaurant is located underground near the back of the former Tokyu Hands. Cheers with beer! I ordered the Yukke three kinds set, which is delicious and definitely a good deal. It's my go-to dish. The premium thick-cut tongue is so juicy and flavorful! The meat sushi three kinds set will make you full to the brim! Of course, I didn't eat it. The premium assorted plate has my favorite tenderloin! Dip it in garlic and enjoy! Even dessert at the end. I had some Makgeolli beer instead of sake. The Makgeolli here seemed to be not freshly made, which was a bit disappointing. It was a bit slow due to the crowd, but the quality of the meat at Gyu-Koh was excellent! They grill it on a shichirin. Sakaisuji Hommachi store has smokeless roasters. So, if it's full there, you can try this place too for peace of mind. It might have just opened recently. Thank you for the meal!

Long time no see. I visited here today after a while. There are private rooms, so it's a calm space. I usually have the yakiniku lunch, but today I had the "Bibimbap lunch for 680 yen excluding tax". I didn't have much appetite, so I opted for the regular size for the rice, which is free to change. Even the regular size was quite generous. It comes with salad too, so it's a good deal. The Bibimbap doesn't have meat in it, but it comes with a spicy sauce, so it's satisfying. The Harami lunch for around 1,000 yen also looked delicious.

It was a very beautiful and nice atmosphere in the shop. When I checked the menu, I saw that they had limited soba menu, which I wanted to try, but unfortunately it was sold out. I wish they had taken that menu off if it was sold out... However, the roast beef bowl was also delicious!

We used the restaurant for a company social gathering with over 15 people. We ordered a course meal and added extra red meat, which was enough to satisfy the appetites of the hungry 20-somethings. The speed of serving drinks and desserts was a bit slow due to the large group and busy hour, but it was tolerable. We will definitely use this restaurant again for business meals and gatherings.

Considering the course price (7,980 yen with all-you-can-drink) and the deliciousness of the meat, I think the cost performance was good. If you like beef tongue and beef tripe, I recommend the "鼓" course. The way they pour the draft beer was also very skillful. The people I went with were also very pleased. Thank you very much.

I went to a restaurant that I saw on Instagram and immediately made a reservation because I really wanted to try their menu. The menu was labeled as "limited quantity," which always makes me want to try it even more. When I arrived, I was asked if I wanted the grilled meat lunch or the bento box lunch. I ordered the "beef belly chirashi bento" and it was served promptly. The presentation was impressive, just like in the menu photos. However, the taste was just average, not particularly outstanding. Overall, it was a decent meal, but maybe other bento boxes on the menu would be more delicious.

I received a DM asking if there are any yakiniku restaurants in Shinsaibashi where you can eat for under ¥1000, so I want to recommend a great place. It's located underground with a fancy entrance. Here are some recommended dishes: - Beef belly chirashi meat bowl ¥950: A meat bowl with rare roast beef, thickly grilled Oita Ranou egg, caviar, like a jewel box of meat. - Lean thigh steak meat bowl ¥900: A steak-sized cut of flavorful lean meat topped with egg for a mellow taste. - Cheek meat "mizore" bowl ¥900: Thinly sliced Japanese beef cheek meat with plenty of "mizore" in a secret ponzu sauce-like yakiniku sauce. - Grilled yukke-style rare steak meat bowl ¥900: A generous portion of fresh rare steak in the style of yukke, mixed with a special yukke sauce and Ranou egg. You can change the rice size to large, medium, or small. They also have private rooms, making it suitable for solo diners or small groups. I visited the Shinsaibashi store following the Sakaisuji Hommachi store. This store also has its entrance underground. The interior is calm and divided into semi-private rooms, which I really like. This time, I had lunch here. The set meal was quite filling, but you can also add extra meat if you want. They even offer half-size portions, making it easy for women to order. I would definitely like to visit again.

I love meat sushi and have tried it at various restaurants, but the large-sized sukiyaki seared sushi with a second layer of jelly-like sauce and egg mixed in was so delicious that it was the most impressive thing I've had this year. They sear it right in front of you with a burner, so even those who haven't had it much can enjoy watching. However, the first dish of assorted meat sushi was more ordinary than I expected, and the rice was a bit hard, so that was a bit disappointing. But overall, if you like this assortment, there's nothing to complain about. The grilled tongue was also delicious. No doubt about it.

It had been a while since I visited Shinsaibashi. On this day, the main plan was to go to a cafe I had been wanting to visit, but before that, we decided to have lunch. We were in the mood for some meat ❤️ We found a place where we could have yakiniku for lunch! The restaurant is called Nikusho Gekko Shinsaibashi store, located right across from the Shinsaibashi Coco Hotel. You go down to the basement to get there. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and cozy, with tables and private rooms. While many yakiniku restaurants offer gyudon for lunch, this place allows you to grill your meat on charcoal from lunchtime. It's great because you can try different cuts of meat by yourself! If you love harami, you can try 6 different types here. You can also add more meat starting from 2 pieces each. We ordered the Rare Five Variety Yakiniku Lunch for 1,680 yen. The meal included grilled shabu-shabu with foamy ponzu sauce, wagyu thigh, kalbi, marinated grilled geta kalbi, and upper belly. It also came with rice, wakame soup, salad, kimchi, and bean sprout namul. The quality of the meat was really good. The grilled shabu-shabu was delicious with the foamy ponzu sauce. The geta kalbi was flavorful and went well with the rice. We also ordered the Ranou Tamago (extra) and added it to half of our rice to make a luxurious tamago kake gohan with meat on top. The rich egg made it even more delicious. We were initially thinking of ordering more, but we were already full. After the meal, we were served iced tea. We had a leisurely time chatting and enjoying our meal. It's great to be able to have authentic yakiniku for lunch. I think the meat here would be delicious even at night. I met up with my friend for a weekday lunch in Shinsaibashi! They made a reservation at a wonderful lunch spot for us! Since we both love meat, we decided to go for a meaty lunch at Nikusho Gyu-Ko in Shinsaibashi, just a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. Thanks to the reservation, we were guided to a private room. Yay! It was easy to chat in there. There were so many lunch options to choose from, including 4 types of yakiniku lunches, 3 types of meat stew lunches, hamburger steak, roast beef bowl, kuppabap lunch, bibimbap lunch, and more. After much deliberation, we decided on the rare five-meat comparison lunch with an added egg. You can't go wrong with adding an egg, right? This comparison lunch was so fulfilling! The meat was incredibly delicious, especially the yakiniku, foam ponzu-marinated meat, grilled geta kalbi, harami, wagyu thigh, and more. The moment the meat was grilled over charcoal was just amazing. The foam ponzu was outstanding. The geta kalbi, which we dipped repeatedly in the sauce and grilled, was incredibly tasty. With the egg on top, served beautifully, it was pure happiness. You could choose from small, medium, or large rice portions, and I opted for medium, which was just right. Grilling high-quality meat over charcoal for under 2000 yen, with coffee or tea included after the meal, was such a great deal! I wonder if it was too good to be true? I highly recommend this lunch spot!

I always end up going to the yakiniku restaurant "Niku Shou" in Shinsaibashi when I see it written. It was crowded during lunchtime and I hadn't been able to go for a while, so I made a reservation through Tabelog. Depending on whether you choose the yakiniku or the obento style for lunch, you will be seated in different areas. The atmosphere is nice with just the name "Niku Shou" written. I wanted to order hitsumabushi, but I wanted something hearty, so I went with the rib roast steak obento. You can also choose between large, medium, or small rice. The meal comes with soup, pickles, onions, lettuce, and plenty of sauce on the side, all for under 1000 yen, which is really appreciated. Eating meat for lunch gave me energy for the rest of the day.

The other day, when I stayed at a hotel nearby, I passed by this shop and saw a menu that caught my eye! [Limited Quantity] "Hitsumabushi SAI-Niku Kobachi" I really wanted to eat it, so I made a reservation on Tabelog ✏️ When I arrived at the restaurant at the reserved time, I was informed that there were separate seating areas for the grilled lunch menu and the non-grilled lunch menu. So when I said, "I want to eat the Hitsumabushi that was displayed outside," the staff replied, "I'm sorry, but that one is already sold out." Oh, I see, it's limited quantity (^^;; It seems like the 12:30 reservation was a bit too late... So, I shifted focus to the yakiniku menu ☝️ The seat I was guided to was for two people, but it was spacious and comfortable. The staff quickly prepared the charcoal grill (a square shichirin) for me. ★ Yakiniku Three Meat Comparison Lunch ¥1518 (tax included) The meat options were Classic Tar, Wagyu Belly, and Harami. You could choose from large, medium, or small rice portions. The meal also included seaweed soup, Chinese cabbage kimchi, bean sprout namul, salad, and coffee or tea after the meal. It was a very good deal for lunch! The Classic Tar was delicious with the wasabi served on the side, the meat juice overflowed with a refreshing taste. The Belly had a good amount of fat and made a sizzling sound when grilled. It was delicious when eaten with the sauce on rice. The Harami had a strong umami flavor in the lean meat and was tender. It was light and tasty, so the rice went down well too. The salad, namul, and kimchi were just the right amount for a little break between bites. The seaweed soup was also gently delicious. Yakiniku lunch was enjoyable and luxurious, yet wallet-friendly. Initially, I was a bit disappointed that my initial choice was sold out, but in the end, it was all good. All the meat cuts were so delicious! As the meal was ending, drinks were brought to us. I had iced coffee, and my friend had iced tea. The thin straw-like stirrer was cute. I enjoyed the delicious coffee and then paid the bill! So, I ended up ordering the "Yakiniku Three Types Comparison Lunch" for 1,518 yen. It included beautifully marbled Wagyu beef, tender beef belly with plenty of fat, and flavorful harami. Overall, it was a delicious meal and a great deal. The restaurant, located a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station, offers high-quality black wagyu beef at a reasonable price. The stylish Japanese ambiance in the basement adds to the dining experience. Highly recommended!

It's a rainy Monday, the end of a three-day weekend, but unfortunately it's been raining since yesterday. I found myself on the north side of Shinsaibashi and decided to have a late lunch before running errands. It was around 1:40 PM when I stumbled upon Gyuho, a yakiniku restaurant. I remembered that there was a popular restaurant in the area where I recently moved, and I wondered if they were related. In any case, I decided to dine here today. I went down to the basement where the restaurant was located. The interior had many partitions, creating a sense of privacy. Since it was a late lunch, there weren't many customers at that time. I was seated at a table with a grill. Looking at the menu, they offered different types of meat dishes like harami and rib roast, as well as rice bowls with roast beef, kuppah, pipinba, and hamburg steak. They also had sets for comparison with three types of yakiniku, rare cuts, and six types of harami. After some contemplation, I decided to go for the reliable harami meat set. The harami set arrived after a short wait, served in a square bento box with clear wakame soup and pickled ginger, similar to what you find at sushi restaurants. The meat was thinly sliced and there were about seven pieces in total. At the back of the bento box, there was some lettuce and onion. The sauce was served separately. I poured about two-thirds of the sauce over the meat and mixed it well. The harami was tender with a good balance of meat juices and sauce. The meat quality was decent, without any unpleasant odors. The rice had just the right amount of sauce, not too soggy, and there was plenty of it to make the meal satisfying. I tried different combinations like lettuce with harami, onion with harami, and reset my palate with pickled ginger. The wakame soup was hot and delicious. By the time I finished the meal, I was full and satisfied. The service here was friendly and not overbearing. Overall, it was a great harami set lunch.

I was planning to go to BM but ended up going to try a limited-time meat sushi I saw on SNS. The restaurant in Sakaisuji Hommachi uses the same system, dividing customers into grilled seats or box seats depending on the menu. The meat sushi was served in a box seat. A booth seat. The basic menu seemed similar to the other restaurant. They seemed to have raised the prices though. The meat sushi was a special plan only available here. It was called the Kamado Sumiyaki Charcoal Grilled Meat Sushi for 1738 yen. They said it would take a little time. About 10 minutes. 10 minutes is totally fine. However, it took forever to come out... 40 minutes! What were they doing for the first 10 minutes?! And to make it worse, a group that ordered after us got served first... The explanation for each piece was done carefully, but it also wasted time... Anyway, I just wanted to eat quickly! It was said to be a female cow of Bizen Kuroge Wagyu. Lean meat, fatty tuna, cheek meat. Avocado, egg, harami battleship. The zabuton and misuji are grilled on special charcoal. A thick charcoal is placed. Direct grilling on the charcoal. By grilling directly on the charcoal, you can intake charcoal and detoxify. It also helps adjust the intestinal environment. Grilling directly on the charcoal doesn't sound good at all, but there seems to be no other way to cook it. After grilling the zabuton on the charcoal for 3 seconds... when you remove it... the meat is covered in ash! The ash is impossible to remove, so you just have to eat it as it is. It's like when you drop meat from the BBQ grill. Normally, you wouldn't eat it. Eating it... the meat is delicious, but the ash is still crunchy and not appetizing. The meat sushi was all delicious. The fatty tuna was especially good. The inari sushi... well, it was okay but I felt it was unnecessary. The cold noodles were firm and chewy. I didn't have enough time to finish it. The 40-minute wait was the main issue, more than the taste. This menu is recommended for people with plenty of time, or those who are willing to wait just to take photos. It seemed to be a special limited-time menu, so I don't think you would have to wait this long for other items. I hope not. Thank you for the meal.
