From 5 pm to 7 pm, there was a happy hour where several cocktails were half price. It was a nice time to enjoy a little bit of delicious drink before dinner as the sun was starting to set. There are also periods when you can enjoy live music, so I think it would be fun to visit again at night.

This is The Lounge located inside Niseko Park Hyatt. I made a reservation here for lunch as I came to the nearby Hanazono Resort. The Park Hyatt is known for its high prices, but they offer a lunch set menu where you can choose between fish and meat on the day. On this day, I chose fish without hesitation. The Chef's salad comes with Pierre Hermé's tomato dressing. I enjoyed the freshly baked bread with butter. And then, the eagerly awaited sautéed king salmon. A large piece of salmon is sautéed in butter and served with a cream sauce. It is accompanied by sautéed broccoli, maitake mushrooms, and yellow zucchini. I have always loved king salmon, but rarely get to see it these days, so I felt lucky today! The taste and portion size were truly exquisite. For dessert, I had Pierre Hermé's Mont Blanc Arab Haskap. Since they only had espresso for coffee, I asked for some milk to make a latte. The food and service were top-notch and delicious, and the set menu price was a great deal. However, there were hardly any Japanese staff, and most of the customers were foreigners. It was a bit surprising to be approached in English here, but I guess that's how things are these days. Nevertheless, I had a very satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal!

The burger was delicious. It was just the right size for two people to share. I wish I had taken a picture before eating. The French fries were also tasty! We sat at a table by the window and enjoyed lunch while looking at Mount Yotei. The weather was nice so we could also enjoy the view. There seems to be a terrace seat, but it might be a bit hot on sunny days...

This is my favorite breakfast at Park Hyatt. This time, I had the full buffet. I went around 9:30, so some items were already gone, but there was still a wide variety of high-quality dishes. I couldn't decide what to choose, and couldn't finish everything. I always have Eggs Benedict, which was a bit runny this time, but still delicious. I enjoyed plenty of fresh vegetable side dishes, truffle butter on potatoes, and the incredibly delicious French toast with ricotta cheese and yuzu jam. I finished with a salmon roe bowl. I'm so full!

"The Lounge" located on the lobby floor of "Park Hyatt Niseko HANAZONO". The space is vast and connected without clear boundaries between the lounge and the bar. The egg dishes are made to order, while other meals are buffet style. The buffet lineup is impressive for a resort hotel, similar to the breakfast spread at Andaz Tokyo. It includes sashimi, ikura, local cheeses, and dairy products, making it a delightful experience for travelers. However, the level of service from the staff is lacking, with some employees seeming unresponsive and slow to assist. The egg dish I tried was a white omelette, which was a vast improvement from a disappointing one I had at a different place earlier. The meringue-like fluffiness of the omelette was delightful. The cheeses from Cheese Factory Takara and Niseko Cheese Factory were of high quality, showcasing the dairy farming expertise of the region. I created my own salmon and ikura rice bowl, which was delicious. The desserts, while visually appealing, lacked finesse in flavor. For those seeking gourmet sweets, Pierre Herme has a presence in the hotel. The tea was meticulously brewed, offering a cozy breakfast experience with a view of the slopes. It was a high-quality breakfast typical of a resort hotel, leaving me relaxed and reluctant to leave for snowboarding. The feeling of freedom with the slopes in view made me feel like I had improved my skills without even hitting the snow. I wonder how the view will be with greenery in the summer. This breakfast experience made me consider visiting in the summer as well.

On the final day of my hotel stay, I visited at 7 am. At that time, things were not fully prepared yet. I had juice and coffee while waiting, so it was not a problem. During my stay, there were about 4 groups of guests. I had a smoothie, Eggs Benedict with salmon, tuna sashimi, grilled mackerel, and a small bowl of sweet shrimp, squid, and salmon roe over rice with egg and udon noodles. I thought about ordering Western-style dishes, but ended up with mostly Japanese dishes. The smoothie was naturally sweet without added sugar. The Eggs Benedict were slightly overcooked, but the flavor was very delicious. The tuna sashimi and grilled mackerel were of the highest quality in terms of ingredients and preparation, comparable to high-end restaurants in the city. The small bowl had excellent ingredients, but the balance of toppings was a bit off. I expected a certain level of quality from a luxury hotel, but this exceeded my expectations. The dishes were clearly prepared with care. If you want to enjoy delicious food, it might be worth visiting during the off-peak season.

Opened in January 2020, the Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono is a luxurious resort in Niseko with views of Mount Yotei. The hotel offers a variety of facilities including a spa and a large communal bath. The restaurant, The Lounge, located in the hotel building, serves lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The elegant interior with high-quality furniture provides a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I called the front desk to request a late check-out, as we wanted to spend an extra 2 hours in the room before our departure. Surprisingly, they agreed to extend our check-out time for free. The restaurant staff, mostly foreigners, provided excellent service in English. The menu featured a variety of dishes, including local Hokkaido cuisine and Western dishes. We ordered a burger, clam chowder, and lasagna, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the clam chowder was comforting, and the lasagna was hot and cheesy. The portion sizes were generous, and we left feeling satisfied. The overall dining experience at The Lounge was exceptional, and the friendly service from the French staff member, Sebastian, made our lunch enjoyable.

Hotel breakfast at its finest I have eaten breakfast at many hotels before, but this was the first time I experienced something truly amazing. I stayed at the Park Hyatt in Niseko and had breakfast there, and it was outstanding. The Japanese food selection included plump, sweet shrimp that you wouldn't typically find at a buffet. The natto was also top-notch, with large packs available for unlimited servings. They had salmon, prosciutto, sausages, salads, and various other high-quality items. The Pierre Herme madeleines, sugar-coated croissants, cakes, and more in that corner alone made me wonder if the breakfast alone cost 3800 yen. There were various egg dishes, cakes, yogurt, pancakes, French toast, and so much more that I couldn't list them all. The honey was also exceptional and delicious. The drinks included fresh and delicious Hokkaido milk. Normally, I finish breakfast in 30 minutes at any hotel, but I spent over an hour here. The breakfast alone makes me want to come back here. The breakfast cost 3800 yen, but with tax and service charge, it came to just under 9000 yen for two people. It was still a great deal considering the quality. If you're in Niseko, I highly recommend stopping by.

It's breakfast time. Last year, they had a table-order buffet as a measure against COVID, but this time it was a regular buffet, probably because there was a group event. The staff takes drink orders and brings them to you. There was a wide variety of menu items, and I enjoyed them. The Eggs Benedict made to order each time was especially delicious. The French toast Pierre Hermé style was also great. The truffle butter went well with everything, so I tried it with various items. The tomato juice was very tasty, possibly made from tomatoes from Yoichi. The staff were very friendly.

I stayed here for the weekend of the first week of June, just like last year. This is my third time here, and I love this hotel where I can enjoy a sense of escape and relaxation. I had planned to have dinner at Olivio for Italian cuisine, but it was closed, perhaps due to the impact of the coronavirus. I didn't feel like having French or sushi, and it was difficult to make a course-like meal from The Lounge's a la carte menu, so I decided to have afternoon tea instead. Everything was delicious, but what stood out to me was the scallop tartare amuse-bouche and the combination of foie gras creme brulee scone with strawberry jam. The strawberry pistachio cake was amazing. It was a delight to have freshly baked galette towards the end after all the sweets. Since it was a reservation for a special occasion, they also brought out a special plate. All three types of tea were delicious, especially the floral Earl Grey tea with its unique aroma. We couldn't finish everything, so we had the leftovers wrapped to enjoy in our room the next morning. It was a very satisfying afternoon tea experience.

The breakfast at Park Hyatt Niseko can also be enjoyed in the lounge. It used to be a regular buffet style, but now it is order buffet style, maybe due to infection prevention measures. You can choose between Japanese and Western food. There were about 5 groups of customers during the quiet period. The orders included a small bowl of scallop, salmon roe, and crab, Chikuzen stew, mixed omelette, and clam soba. It is a spacious environment where you can enjoy wonderful ingredients and skilled cooking at a reasonable price, which is a unique experience for breakfast. This is a big motivation for repeat visits.

This is breakfast at Park Hyatt Niseko. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, the buffet has now changed to table order style, but there were plenty of options and the staff were kind and attentive, providing service quickly. The freshly squeezed vegetable juice and rich, traditional corn potage were delicious. I had the Eggs Benedict again, which I enjoyed before, and Pierre Herme's French toast was amazingly delicious. I wanted to have a second one but resisted. Although it was a substitute, my husband's sea urchin and salmon roe bowl looked delicious, so I couldn't resist having some sea urchin at the end. This time we stayed in the residence building, which had a nice kitchen, an outdoor bath, and a large functional table in the living room, but the interior was more elaborate in the hotel building, and having a large kitchen gives a sense of daily life. I want to experience something out of the ordinary, so next time I want to stay in the hotel building. The highlight of coming here is being able to eat Pierre Herme's desserts, but unfortunately, my favorite Ispahan was not available this time due to closure. However, the cheesecake was delicious. The hotel staff seemed to be struggling due to the pandemic, but they were all kind and attentive. I hope the days of being able to operate normally return soon.

I stayed at Park Hyatt Niseko last November and it was so good that I decided to go back. The hotel is divided into a hotel building and a residence building. Due to the impact of the coronavirus, the hotel building was closed, so I was upgraded to a room with an indoor hot spring in the residence building. This time, I wanted to avoid face-to-face contact as much as possible and enjoy a leisurely dinner in a spacious room, so all meals were served through room service. In the evening, I ordered Zangi and had a beer after bathing. It was a very nice setting, but the food tasted better the last time I had it. After enjoying a movie with a DVD I brought, I started dinner around 8:30 PM. I ordered salad, carpaccio, pasta, and more, but the highlight was the grilled Hokujima wheat pork. It was served in a Staub dish, hot and crispy on the outside with a pink center, and it was very delicious. Drinking wine I brought while wearing room clothes, enjoying a relaxed atmosphere, and playing my favorite music made the meal very enjoyable. With everyone being cautious about infection, staying at a hotel where you can have "room service" like this is great.
