Having afternoon tea with regular customers inside the shop, haha. I had iced milk tea and strawberry shaved ice. It was delicious. I usually never come to these cute places, so it's refreshing. I always finish my drinks so quickly, haha.

Good morning, this is Maruharu^ ^ Lately, I've been accumulating too many posts, so I'll jump to May's post. I'm studying for a qualification at a cafe this morning. I ordered the curry set for 640 yen and the pancake plate for 800 yen. The curry was so delicious! I'll definitely eat it again! Thank you for the meal^ ^

Mini souffle omelette pancake plate with drink for 1350 yen, can be upgraded to Royal Milk Tea for an additional 100 yen. The Royal Milk Tea had a strong bitterness and wasn't very delicious. The souffle omelette was soft and loose, the pancakes were decent, and the pudding was smooth and tasty. I had higher expectations for Hoshino Coffee, but it was a bit disappointing.

It's been a while since I visited Hoshino Coffee Shop. After soaking in Fukunoyu, I decided to treat myself to some sweets. Today, I enjoyed my favorite strawberry and cream cheese cake, as well as Hoshino Coffee's souffle. It's been a while since I had souffle, and it was delicious as always. It takes 20 minutes to bake, but chatting away makes the time fly by. The Duck Waffles were also tasty.

I always rely on this place near my home where I can stay for a long time and use my computer to write reviews on Tabelog. It would be perfect if they had free Wi-Fi. This time, I was interested in the Halloween limited edition pancakes, but ended up choosing my favorite "Deluxe Mont Blanc for 950 yen with a drink." The drink, as always, was the "Hikoboshi Blend," which I like for its low acidity and strong bitterness. I was happy that I could get a refill for half price (half of the single price of 450 yen). It's perfect for staying long. The Mont Blanc is just a roll cake with whipped cream and Mont Blanc cream on top, but I realized that this is my favorite taste after all. It goes well with bitter coffee. The staff also worked efficiently, making it a truly comfortable experience. I will continue to use this place frequently. Oh! By the way, the food samples in the showcase that I used to love when they first opened are gone now (>_<). I wonder if they took them to another new store?

It seems they offer a morning service, but thinking about lunch, I ordered a large iced cafe latte. Not the extra large size. Was it the large size? Lol. I'll enjoy my cafe au lait while working on my PC slowly, but then a call came in and plans changed. Hmm. Should have just gone for the morning service. The mini pancakes looked delicious.

Located in the Iikura 3-chome area of Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City, directly across from Haru Junior High School along Route 202, you will find the popular spot of "Hoshino Coffee" on the 2nd floor. Next to it, there are other well-known establishments such as McDonald's and Kura Sushi. Hoshino Coffee, which first opened in Kyushu in August 2012, now has several locations throughout Fukuoka Prefecture. Their specialty lies in their in-house roasted "hand drip coffee" and their famous "oven-baked souffle pancakes." With a wide range of food and dessert options, this cafe is a delightful spot for coffee and tea lovers alike. The interior is smoke-free all day, with designated non-smoking areas available. I tried the "Hoshino Blend," "Iced Coffee," "Rich Pancakes," and "Cake." The Hoshino Blend, with its balanced sweetness, acidity, and bitterness, was delicious. Other blends like the "Hikoboshi Blend" with a moderate bitterness and depth, or the "Orihime Blend" with a light and refreshing taste, offer options to suit different preferences. The Iced Coffee had a perfect balance of bitterness and richness, with the large size coming in a beer mug for added convenience. Refills are half price, and you can also change the blend, which is a nice touch. The "Rich Pancakes" were delightful, and I look forward to trying the popular "oven-baked souffle pancakes" and "kama-yaki souffle doria" next time. Overall, it was a satisfying experience. Enjoy Cafe Life!

Located in Iikura, Sawara-ku, along Route 202. The second floor is a spaghetti restaurant, next to it are McDonald's and Kura Sushi, and across the road is a shabu-shabu restaurant, with a row of chain restaurants in the area. There are nearly 300 stores nationwide, with 15 in Fukuoka. I went for lunch. They offer pasta, omurice, sandwiches, curry, etc. I was intrigued by their famous souffle pancakes. I had the Beef Tongue Stew Souffle Doria & Pancake Set for 1,100 yen (excluding tax). It comes with a drink, so I chose the Hoshino Blend coffee. The Doria has unsweetened meringue on top. The Beef Tongue Stew Doria wasn't to my taste. The souffle pancakes were different from what I expected. The coffee was delicious, although I'm not a coffee expert. I also tried the lemonade for 480 yen (excluding tax), which was refreshing and tasty. The total came to 1,738 yen. If you want to relax and chat for a while, it might be worth the price for the ambiance, but I wouldn't recommend it for a quick lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this café for the first time because I was feeling a bit peckish. The interior is decorated in a retro style, with spacious chairs and tables. This café chain seems to focus on creating a cozy atmosphere for customers. Unlike many self-service café chains that aim to increase turnover rates, Starbuck Coffee here seems to prioritize creating a space where customers can linger longer.
Ordered items:
- Souffle Pancake [Single/530 yen]: A thick pancake topped with whipped butter. The pancake is 4cm thick, with a light and fluffy texture. The slightly salty whipped butter complements the pancake well.
- Decaf Coffee [450 yen]: The aroma is similar to regular coffee, with a rich flavor. It is recommended to drink it while it's warm as the taste tends to diminish when it cools down.
- Beef Stew Omelette Rice Doria [800 yen]: A demi-glace sauce with a rich flavor, beef, and onions. The egg on top is half-cooked and fluffy. The rice is topped with the egg, not rolled like typical omelette rice. It is heated in the oven, hence the name "Doria."
- Opera Cake from Starbuck Coffee [400 yen]: The chocolate surface is decorated with gold leaf. The sponge is soft and lightly sweet, infused with coffee flavor. It's a perfect dessert to enjoy after a meal.
Starbuck Coffee is operated by Doutor Nichires Holdings, the same company behind the well-known Doutor Coffee chain. While Doutor Coffee focuses on low-priced self-service cafes, Starbuck Coffee aims for a higher price range market, successfully differentiating itself. Despite being slightly more expensive than Doutor Coffee, Starbuck Coffee stands out with its cozy atmosphere and high-quality menu. The original store is conveniently located along the road with ample parking space, making it easily accessible by car.

This is the Fukuoka Sawara branch of Hoshino Coffee, one of the 14 branches in Fukuoka. The first floor houses Hoshino Coffee, while the second floor is home to Yoemen Goemon, a Western noodle restaurant. Today, feeling a bit under the weather and craving something soft, I tried their popular menu item, the "Melting Mozzarella Cheese Souffle Risotto with Rich Porcini Cream," a fall menu item inspired by their signature souffle dorayaki. Priced at 1,000 yen (excluding tax) with a choice of drink included, it features a creamy mushroom risotto topped with a generous portion of meringue and baked until golden. It can be eaten with a spoon. For those with a sweet tooth, the Mont Blanc Souffle Pancake seems like a delicious option from their regular menu. They also offer various drinkable items like gratin and cream omelette doria. My colleague ordered the Ham, Vegetable, and Egg Toast Sandwich for 550 yen, which was also quite tasty. I added a Cafe Au Lait for 450 yen. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.【Store Name】Hoshino Coffee Fukuoka Sawara Branch【Address】1F, 3-20-33 Iikura, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture【Business Hours】[Mon-Fri] 9:00-21:00 (L.O. 20:30) [Sat-Sun, Holidays] 8:00-21:00 (L.O. 20:30) *Please confirm【Regular Holiday】Irregular holidays *Please confirmFor more images and details, check out the blog post:【Hakata Onna Bushi】【Fukuoka】Seasonal Menu Porcini Souffle Risotto & Sandwich @ Hoshino Coffee Fukuoka Sawara Branchhttp://hakata.livedoor.biz/archives/2166163.html

Komeda and Coco are our favorite restaurants. We often go there for breakfast, and sometimes I have coffee after eating champon. The coffee is hand-dripped, not from a machine, but I can't tell the difference. My wife and daughter always have cake after champon, which I find unbelievable.

First, I went outside and had breakfast. The Morning Set is 480 yen before tax, which includes a ham and cheese toast and Hikoboshi blend egg. The toast uses two types of cheese, giving it a rich flavor with both stretchy and firm cheese. The Hikoboshi blend has a deep bitterness with low acidity, and it is hand-dripped. You can choose from three options: Hoshino Blend, Orihime Blend, and Hikoboshi Blend. The place was bustling with families and solo customers. Some people were working on their PCs, but it wasn't too crowded. The spacious layout made it easy to work. Thanks for the meal~

The fluffy souffle omelette was very photogenic. The one-plate meal that looked like a children's lunch was reminiscent of a Showa-era coffee shop and I liked it.
