Located in Daikoku-cho, this always crowded yakiniku restaurant has both table and tatami seating. The shiny, salted tongue is particularly delicious, with a nice thickness yet easy to chew. The thinly sliced salted beef tongue, lightly seared and served with lemon juice, was refreshing and tasty.

You can't imagine the quality from the traditional storefront! Yakiniku around 7000 yen per person. Sanrei, Osaka Prefecture, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City, Nishishikitsu 1-1-28 Wakita Building 1F. 3 minutes walk from Osaka Metro Daikokucho Station. ⏰Open from 17:00 to 24:00, closed on Tuesdays. Cards accepted, no electronic payments. Upper tongue ¥1,750, upper harami ¥1,880, upper loin ¥1,680, upper kalbi ¥1,628, salt offal ¥1,000, heart ¥680. If you head north on the road one block west of the main street, you will see neon lights in about 3 minutes. The atmosphere of the traditional storefront is charming. The compact interior has about 3 table seats and 3 tatami seats. The meat is of real quality. This time, I visited the meat gathering with Kitameshi. I was surprised by the tongue, it's so tender and flavorful. I immediately ordered white rice. The upper loin and upper kalbi have a beautiful amount of fat and are not at all greasy, they melt in your mouth instantly! I highly recommend the salt offal, it's the best! From the texture to the flavor, it's the first time I've had offal like this. Be sure to try it when you visit! Visit this hidden gem in quiet Daikokucho. Thank you for the meal!

There was no unpleasant smell and the meat was all beautiful in color. I heard it was delicious and coming to Oguni-cho was worth it. I ate a lot, but considering the price, it's a good value. The selection of dishes for the end of the meal was also plentiful and delicious.

In Daikokucho, there is a traditional Korean barbecue restaurant called Sanrei. I went on a Saturday, so that might be why even though I arrived a bit late, the restaurant was full and I had to wait for about 40 minutes before finally being seated! The restaurant has three tatami rooms and about five tables, making it easy to go with family or friends. The staff were very considerate, saying they had the menu ready in advance since they knew we were waiting, and the food came out in seconds after we were seated. The menu we ordered included: Upper Harami (1,848 yen), Upper Salted Tongue (1,738 yen), Liver (770 yen), Namul Assortment (550 yen), Garlic Foil Grill (440 yen), Jjishya (440 yen), Salted Upper Mino (1,100 yen), and Cold Noodles (935 yen). The fat content on the Upper Harami was amazing! It was so fatty that it surprised me. When grilled and wrapped in Jjishya, it was incredibly delicious. The Upper Salted Tongue was also shiny and not too thick, perfectly grilled to be soft and melt-in-your-mouth. I loved it so much that I ended up ordering more in the second half of the meal. The liver came with a sweet sauce made with Korean-style Gochujang, unique to Sanrei and very tasty. The Namul had that authentic Korean taste, simple and incredibly delicious. I wish I could have taken it home as a takeout. The Salted Upper Mino was firm with a nice chewiness, and the seasoning of salt and pepper made it refreshing and delicious. Personally, I found that squeezing a little lemon on it added a nice flavor variation. The noodles and broth in the Cold Noodles were delicious too! I like to add quite a bit of vinegar when eating it. However, I was so full that I could only eat a little bit, but I felt like I could have easily eaten a whole portion by myself. On that day, I enjoyed eating my favorite Salted Tongue and drinking alcohol, feeling happy. I always feel like having barbecue once in a while. The different seasoning and quality of meat at each restaurant make it enjoyable to explore. Today, I took my high school freshman son to a yakiniku restaurant called Sanrei in Okunimachi. We parked at the Life supermarket parking lot and headed in. The salted tongue was delicious! Absolutely amazing! My son really loves salted tongue. The other meats were also delicious, and the side dishes were good too. The service was great. When we went to pay, I could see into the kitchen and it was unbelievably clean and shiny. Seeing that, I thought, "This place is definitely a good choice."

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend. I had heard that even the "regular" (並) meat menu items were delicious and reasonably priced, and that the restaurant was clean inside. Finally, I was able to visit this place. The interior had both table and tatami seating, and it was a good decision to make a reservation in advance as it was full on a weekday. I started with a draft beer for 500 yen and a shochu highball for 450 yen. They also brought out a namul assortment for 500 yen and white cabbage kimchi for 350 yen. The namul had four types and they were all delicious. Then, I ordered some meat dishes starting with the regular options. The harami was 1380 yen, the loin and belly were both 1100 yen, and the premium salted tongue was 1480 yen. The quality was amazing, with beautiful marbling and cuts that didn't seem like regular options. The sauce had a unique flavor with a slight acidity and sweetness that paired well with the ample marbling. The meat quality was also excellent. I also ordered an additional portion of loin and belly to compare, but the regular options were more than enough. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

I visited my favorite restaurant Sanrei on Saturday night at 7:00 PM, but it was fully booked. The place was crowded with customers even after that, showing how popular it is. This time, I ordered two servings of Upper Salt Tongue for 1480 yen each, Harami for 1380 yen, one serving of Kolikori for 600 yen, one serving of Upper Mino for 950 yen, a set of assorted kimchi for 700 yen, cold noodles for 850 yen, a small bowl of rice for 200 yen, and several cups of oolong tea for 250 yen each. I highly recommend ordering the Upper Salt Tongue at this restaurant. My tip is not to overcook it. It's tender and has a great texture. The Harami is also delicious. I had ordered Upper Harami before, but personally, I prefer Harami as it has less fat and is lighter. Kolikori was a new challenge for me. Normally, I order Upper Mino, Tsurami, and Techan, but these three are recommended for offal lovers. The sauce is recommended for all dishes. It has a rich flavor that blends well with the meat. The Upper Mino is neatly sliced, making it easy to eat and chew, and it's tender. Many places that serve Mino don't cut it properly, but this place is by far the best for me, a big fan of Mino! Tsurami is often tough or chewy at other places, but when I tried it here for the first time, I realized how delicious Tsurami can be and became a fan. Techan is a favorite for everyone. It's big, so we cut it with scissors before eating. I shared the cold noodles with my friend. There are many expensive and delicious restaurants out there, but this place, although not cheap, is a place I would want to come back to again and again!

A yakiniku restaurant with a lot of fatty meat. It's always crowded with customers. It's a shame that the water under the grill hasn't been changed and is dirty. The meat is okay. Not a fan of the seasoning on the offal. The namul is delicious! The soup is so-so. The speed of service is very fast and good!

A classmate recommended this place in Daikokucho from Shinsekai, so we tried it. We ordered the premium tongue (1380 yen), premium skirt steak (1680 yen), sirloin (1000 yen), red meat (800 yen), and two oolong teas (500 yen each, excluding tax). Overall, the food was decent, but the meat was a bit tough and lacked flavor. The satisfaction level did not match the prices. Time for dessert, let's go for something light.

There is a somewhat upscale and delicious yakiniku restaurant in the neighborhood. There are quite a few yakiniku restaurants nearby. This one comes recommended by a drinking buddy and is always bustling with locals. The meat is delicious. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to go, as the restaurant is small and fills up quickly.

I wonder if it will be in Motomachi in Namba? I was taken there by a customer, it's a yakiniku restaurant with a traditional atmosphere. I was happy that they had a smokeless roaster. The harami and loin were delicious, but my favorite was the salted tongue, which was incredibly tasty when eaten with salt and lemon. I ended up eating too much meat and couldn't make it to the end, so next time I'll challenge the cold noodles and stone bibimbap. The kimchi and namul were also delicious with a light taste.
