A long-established shop with 40 years of history, Grill Shop Yano is run by a family - a friendly and cozy place with a natural father, a kind mother, and a handsome son. Their dishes, from daily lunch specials to evening course meals, are all delicious! I visit once a week for lunch (actually, I want to go every day). My recommended menu item is the Special Lunch for 1,600 yen (tax included), affectionately known as "Special Ran" (laughs). The visually stunning lunch features a large tiger prawn and hand-kneaded hamburger. First, the shrimp fry! The crispy coating and juicy meat inside, paired with a slightly sweet tartar sauce, are absolutely delicious! And the head of the tiger prawn... after peeling off the hard shell, lightly sprinkle with salt and enjoy - it's incredibly tasty! (For those who don't eat shrimp heads, I highly recommend trying it at least once). Next, the hand-kneaded hamburger! This hamburger doesn't release juices and is enveloped in an original rich demi-glace sauce. The soft and flavorful patty melts in your mouth with each bite - it's truly delicious! (Who needs meat juices, right? (laughs)). And I'm always impressed by their miso soup - it's something you must taste at the restaurant, so I'll refrain from commenting (it's really delicious!). It came with shrimp fry and hamburger, which is a perfect combination. The rice and miso soup were served, and soon the plate arrived. The kitchen staff worked efficiently and quickly, so the food was served promptly. The huge shrimp fry was crispy and juicy, bursting with flavor. It was so satisfying and delicious. The hamburger was not juicy, but fluffy, and covered in a generous amount of demi-glace sauce, which was irresistible. The rice went perfectly with everything. The plate was full of vegetables and very satisfying. The fact that even the rice and miso soup were delicious was a nice surprise. If the classic menu is delicious, then the other items must be delicious too. I would love to revisit and try more dishes.
