This is a shop I keep coming back to. Everything I eat here is really delicious! The menu is extensive, with a variety of alcoholic drinks as well. Being a teppanyaki restaurant, most dishes are grilled and they are truly delicious. They also have desserts which are perfect for finishing off the meal. The staff are friendly and make you want to come back again. The only downside is that smoking is allowed.

This day was for drinking. I decided to go a little further away from Umeda and explore a good drinking spot in Jōshō. The first place I visited was recommended by someone who used to work in Jōshō - "Creative Teppanyaki Dining Dai". We went without a reservation and luckily got the last two seats. The menu offered a variety of dishes, including seafood, meat, and izakaya items. We ordered dishes such as Whitefish Ponzu, Black Wagyu Red Meat Assortment, Potato Salad, Shrimp and Asparagus Stir-fry with Salt Sauce, Pork Tamago, and Daikon Steak with Yuzu Pepper. The Potato Salad was particularly delicious, ranking in the top 3 of all the potato salads I've ever had. It had a smoky flavor from smoked daikon and quail eggs, combined with the sweetness of Inca's Awakening, and the umami of the meat - a unique and delicious taste! The Red Meat Assortment included three cuts - Kaonomi, Ichibo, and Togarashi. Togarashi was a new term for me, and it turned out to be a part around the shoulder blade. Each cut offered a different eating experience, all of them quite enjoyable! All of this, along with drinks like draft beer, plum wine, and highball, left us satisfied but not overly full. The total bill for two people was 7700 yen, which I found to be reasonable considering the quality of the food. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant in Jōshō for its great food and atmosphere.

A close colleague returned to the same floor due to a job transfer, so we decided to visit this restaurant together after a long time. It's located about a 10-minute walk from Hankyu Kami-Shinjo Station, a bit tucked away, making it somewhat of a hidden gem. I heard that this restaurant is one of the establishments run by three handsome brothers. Nearby, there is "Vegetable Dining Mats" and near the north exit of Kami-Shinjo Station, there is "Seafood Dining Gen." With just a reservation for seats, we arrived at the restaurant. First, we toasted with beer! Cheers! We started with the addictive cucumber for 390 yen, simple but delicious! Then we had the smoked potato salad for 590 yen, which was amazing! The balance of flavors was just right, making it easy to eat. Next, we tried the sizzling shrimp with chili sauce for 790 yen, with juicy prawns and a spicy chili sauce. The sizzling plate kept it hot and delicious. We also enjoyed the Chinese-style bonito tataki with plenty of condiments for 790 yen, perfect for those who like condiments. The pork dumplings, the restaurant's popular dish for 690 yen, were fluffy and juicy, and very delicious. The grilled harami for 990 yen was also juicy and flavorful, served with cabbage and bean sprouts. We also tried the radish steak with porcini cream sauce for 690 yen, which was creamy and fragrant. The shrimp and asparagus stir-fry with salt sauce for 790 yen was simple but delicious, with juicy prawns and hot flavors. We also had a platter of chicken tataki for 790 yen, served with sweet soy sauce from Kyushu and ponzu sauce. Topped with grated daikon radish, it was delicious. The smoked tomato tartar cheese bake for 690 yen was visually appealing, with tartar sauce and cheese on top of tomato. The tiramisu parfait in a masu cup for 590 yen was light and flavorful. Finally, we had a seasonal ice cream duo for 390 yen, with chestnut and roasted green tea flavors. The attention to detail, even in the dessert selection, was appreciated by all. The staff saw us off all the way to the entrance when we left, showing the same hospitality as before. It was truly heartwarming. Thank you for the delicious meal.

On August 3, 2019, a Saturday, which was a holiday, my wife and I went out for drinks in Upper Shinjo for the first time in a while. We visited a restaurant that we were curious about through Instagram. We didn't make a reservation and just walked in, but the restaurant was fully booked. However, they were kind enough to accommodate us for a late reservation. Thank you very much! The restaurant specializes in creative teppanyaki dishes, offering a wide range of menu items such as okonomiyaki, yakisoba, teppanyaki Chinese dishes, and smoked dishes. The drink menu is also extensive, including sake, shochu, and awamori. We started with a toast with draft beer. We ordered the most popular dish, pork okonomiyaki, smoked dish assortment, salmon and avocado salad, and stir-fried shrimp and asparagus with salt sauce. The pork okonomiyaki had a slightly sour sauce with a mild sweetness. As someone from Hiroshima, I prefer a sweeter sauce like the one from Otafuku. Nevertheless, this one was delicious in its own way. The flour-based dishes are always tasty. My wife, who loves shrimp, really enjoyed the stir-fried shrimp and asparagus with salt sauce. Although we didn't order them this time, the Chinese dishes, yakisoba, and meat dishes on the menu all looked very appealing. The staff were all young, cheerful, and energetic, providing great service. It was a pretty good experience. Definitely worth a revisit! Since we finished early, we decided to continue the night with a second stop. Stay tuned for the next part of our night out! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I love this chain of restaurants and this time I went to the one in Oo... Even though it was a weekday, I barely managed to make a reservation the day before. It was fully booked, so I started at the counter and later got moved to a table! This restaurant also cooks everything on an iron plate. First, we had a salad, followed by dishes like: green tea soba salad, chicken neck with yuzu and pepper, cheese garlic toast, assorted grilled vegetables, fried potatoes, stir-fried marinated chicken, and cucumber with salt. We also had beer and cocktails. The dishes were very innovative and the presentation was meticulous, which was enjoyable! The green tea soba salad was delicious, the cheese garlic toast was flavorful, and the hormone dishes exceeded the quality you would expect from a typical izakaya. The restaurant was always full and bustling with customers! I will definitely come back as the menu is extensive and there are so many dishes I want to try. Today, I ate to my heart's content, so I will save the other dishes for next time!

The teppanyaki dining at Oishii in Kaminoshinjo is always popular. The Calpis and kimchi chu-hai are delicious, as well as the cold tomato oden. The beef tendon stew is quite sweet but tasty. The cucumber and chicken skewers with sauce didn't suit my taste, and the chicken was lacking. The pork yakisoba has thin noodles which is a bit disappointing, but the sauce is not too sweet, which is good. The daikon steak is very tender, but I prefer it a bit firmer. The Japanese-style grated hamburger was a bit disappointing in taste, unlike the pork yakisoba. On this day, the restaurant was dominated by a loud and obnoxious customer. It seems that customers tend to be more difficult in slightly upscale restaurants like this one compared to cheaper izakayas. It's hard to find something more annoying than a self-important loudmouth.

This is "Creative Teppanyaki Dining O" in Jojo. It was a girls' night out on a snowy evening. It wasn't snowing when we arrived, but by the time we left, there was a light snowfall, which was nice. Despite the cold weather, we toasted with Chu-hai Shikuasa. We had simmered beef tendon, special salad with tea-flavored pork and half-boiled egg, seared wagyu beef, chicken and mushroom with yuzu kosho mayo sauce, and grilled yam tofu steak (without garlic chips). We also had a chef's choice seafood salad. Since it's a creative teppanyaki dining place, there were other interesting menu items that caught our eye, but we couldn't try them all this time. Maybe next time. Thank you for the meal!

I made a reservation for two people and visited around 8:00 pm on a weekday. All the table seats were occupied, so I was glad we made a reservation about 30 minutes earlier. The customers seemed to be mostly in their 20s and early 30s, quite young. The dishes we ordered, in the order they were served, were as follows (menu names are approximate): 1) Salad with thinly sliced pork and half-boiled egg: 580 yen. It was a salad with sautéed thinly sliced pork, watercress, lettuce, and a couple of tomato slices, topped with a half-boiled egg. It was just the right size for two people to share. 2) Chicken breast and thigh tataki: 680 yen. It was a small portion, but we enjoyed the different textures. 3) Foie gras with daikon radish: 980 yen. It came with four slices of daikon radish and four small pieces of foie gras. 4) Butter soy sauce stir-fried mushrooms: 580 yen. It was a stir-fry of enoki, shimeji, and eringi mushrooms, with a small portion. 5) Butatama (pork and egg) okonomiyaki: 680 yen. It was a standard size okonomiyaki with plenty of sauce, which I found a bit spicy. 6) Beef tendon fried rice: 680 yen. It had beef tendon and konjac pieces. It was just the right amount for two people to share. We chose items 2, 3, 5, and 6 from the "must-try menu" introduced at the beginning. The prices displayed include tax, and overall, I think the prices are reasonable. We spent a little over 4,000 yen and were quite satisfied. The service was not particularly fast, but we finished eating within an hour of entering the restaurant. The cigarette smoke from the table seats reached the counter, which was a bit uncomfortable, but they kindly provided hot tea refills and took care of our coats, which was appreciated. We parked our car at a Times parking lot about a 2-minute walk from the restaurant (200 yen for 30 minutes from 7:00-21:00). There were many one-way streets, so I regret not setting the navigation to a parking lot near the restaurant.

First of all, because it's located in Kami Shinjo, the clientele is not particularly elegant... I've been a few times but that's it, and on weekend nights it's often full and hard to get in. It seems to be a very popular place among locals. If you are seated in the private room-like space near the entrance, that's good, but when we were seated in the back tatami room, we ended up with a group of over 10 people with children, and it was very noisy. I wish they would consider seating a little more carefully. As for the taste, it's just like a normal tasty izakaya. There's nothing that makes you want to come back again and again. The drinks are also just average. Personally, I think they could lower the overall price range a bit. There are quite a few delicious and affordable restaurants around here. By the way, all the staff are men, and it seems like they are chosen based on their looks... (laughs) It's a restaurant with strangely high facial attractiveness, so it might be effective for attracting customers. I used to go there before, but now I have more favorite places, so I don't think I'll revisit.

When I stop by Uenishinjo, I usually go to this restaurant. It seems like there are a lot of repeat customers. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cheerful, and they have a wide variety of drinks. It has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The recommended okonomiyaki is a bit different from the usual ones, with options like dashi-based okonomiyaki, or ones with tofu or cheese. Of course, they also have classic options like pork okonomiyaki. The batter is surprisingly fluffy and very delicious! Apart from okonomiyaki, they have a wide range of menu options, so you won't get bored even after multiple visits. They seem to pay attention to the freshness of their ingredients, and I heard that their seafood dishes are also delicious, so I plan to go back when the weather gets cooler.

The tofu okonomiyaki at this place is really delicious, fluffy, and healthy. Even my friend who doesn't like tofu was eating it happily. It's healthy and tasty. The seafood salt sauce is amazing, I'm addicted to it. This shop has a variety of menu options, so I think you can enjoy it. However, we were forgotten about our drinks, so it might be good to remind them if your drink is taking too long. But the food was so good that it didn't really matter.

Population density NO.1 Shinshinjuku! Of course, there are many dining options as well. The location is not as busy as other places, as it is located in a narrow alley, making it somewhat hidden and giving off a cozy, hidden gem vibe. Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats, tables for about 4 people, and seats with sunken kotatsu tables in the back. The cushions on the sunken kotatsu seats are soft and comfortable to sit on! The dishes are made with fresh ingredients, with a good balance and no strong flavors. The dishes I tried and recommend are: - Cheese-grilled chicken, which was tender and had a great combination with cheese - Daikon steak, simple but delicious - Beef tendon fried rice, with a nice texture from beef tendon and diced konjac - Seafood salt-grilled noodles, addictively delicious - Tofu okonomiyaki, healthy and surprisingly tasty, recommended for women Personally, I also found the dashi-flavored okonomiyaki interesting and tasty (the dashi flavor is a bit strong). There is also a wide selection of sake available. The manager and staff were all friendly and provided great service with smiles. The manager even saw us off when we left, making the overall experience very pleasant. I look forward to visiting again soon.

I have been going to Da-chan's for about 2 years now. The food is always delicious! I heard they source fresh liver directly from the ranch every day. When I feel like treating myself to something nice, I head to Da-chan's. They have a wide variety of shochu as well. Sometimes they have special plum wine that they have marinated just for Da-chan's. Their okonomiyaki is not your usual kind, they are all creative and unique. The tofu okonomiyaki is fluffy and absolutely delicious. It seems like they also have private events occasionally. If you really want to go, it's best to call ahead to make sure.

I love this restaurant in Kami Shinjo♪ I like all the restaurants in this group, but this one is my favorite. The food is very delicious and the staff are particularly energetic, don't you think? I highly recommend the foie gras daikon dish! Also, the strawberry tart dessert is delicious. Sometimes it's not strawberry, but that's okay. There is only one toilet, so you have to be careful going back and forth, but it can't be helped. Overall, everything is delicious here☆
